So to answer some questions that so far nobody is really asking but I wanna give answers to anyway: These will only be released in off weeks and not in lieu of new content. Also I only plan on releasing one of these maybe once every 2 months at most. It also helps UA-cam see that the channel is alive so maybe Game Sack won't get buried in the almighty overseeing algorithm... well not AS buried anyway. To answer the question you're asking in your head YES I'm in my underwear as I type this. Wait... you're not asking that?

Game Sack is magic. I don't know how these bland average Joes (lol) project so much charisma. I freaking love this channel. Thanx Joe for all your dedication
I actually really like your hardware breakdowns. I've even edited down just the hardware breakdowns into a single video file. I've ordered them by release dates, so we can see the hardware evolution over time. It's fascinating, especially considering how different hardware was between consoles. Even among the same generation there were big differences, like Nintendo not using a Motorola 68000 chip, a processor common among arcade machines, whereas most competitors were focused on bringing the arcade experience home so they used a chip from that family. Nowadays things are pretty similar. I mean, look at PS4 vs X1. There are far more similarities between the two consoles than there are differences.
shoesifer GMR editing is one of those jobs that never get the recognition they deserve. It’s something that most people won’t notice until it’s being done poorly.
So I downloaded this...and I'll tell you why..I picture myself an old man in the hospital, 30-40 years from now, enjoying my archived Game Sack ep's. Thanks Joe from my older self..P.S. and Dave

Thanks for the video. I was able to update a couple of PC's without staring blankly into the windows spinning circle of death the whole time. Good to hear Dave again also.
Just noticed that this became your first video with 1 million views! Congrats on the amazing accomplishment and thanks for the many years of great content!
God I hit play, looked away from the screen for a min, and I thought Dave was back. None the less, this is awesome and will work its way into my insomnia tonight. Thanks guys again for the hours of joy you have brought to me and many other.
Flat out best gaming channel in UA-cam history. I definitely hope Dave still makes an occasional appearance or two. Thanks for all the awesome content Joe. I'm excited to see what new ideas you have in store!
The only thing I would like to add is be careful when collecting for the TG-16. Especially American TurboDuo's as they all have very weak capacitors. Those things leak all over the board, causing issues that, if not fixed quickly, will kill the console. The TG-16 and CD ROM ROM also have bad caps. The rule of thumb is if you buy one, immediately change the caps. That way, you won't run into any issues. At any rate, I know this video is old, but hopefully, this helps anyone looking to collect for NEC/Hudson's 16-bit console.
I know UA-camrs hate to hear comparisons with old vs new content...but Jesus dude this stuff totally fine nothing wrong with it...but modern GS I enjoy so much I definitely feel the channel has grown in all the right ways dude
I love this idea! I watched all the original videos years ago, but one can always use a refresher. Honestly I'm really impressed with the quality of the older episodes... The video and audio editing are better than most UA-cam channels in 2020.
i find it kinda funny how stiff it feels when either dave or jow read off their critique for the first few minutes of this video, but i still think it's cool and fascinating to reconnect with these old videos. hyped for more.
That background music while explaining the TG16 encapsulates, for me, what CD game music was for that time.....brings back so many memories just hearing that bass line, synth brass sounds and drums....reminds me of my trusty ol' Sega CD.
