So to answer some questions that so far nobody is really asking but I wanna give answers to anyway: These will only be released in off weeks and not in lieu of new content. Also I only plan on releasing one of these maybe once every 2 months at most. It also helps UA-cam see that the channel is alive so maybe Game Sack won't get buried in the almighty overseeing algorithm... well not AS buried anyway. To answer the question you're asking in your head YES I'm in my underwear as I type this. Wait... you're not asking that?
nah no you dont you like them videos short so you can stay up all night punk because i said so im 7 feet tall 320 pounds you dont wanna disagree with me boy
Game Sack is magic. I don't know how these bland average Joes (lol) project so much charisma. I freaking love this channel. Thanx Joe for all your dedication
Just noticed that this became your first video with 1 million views! Congrats on the amazing accomplishment and thanks for the many years of great content!
God I hit play, looked away from the screen for a min, and I thought Dave was back. None the less, this is awesome and will work its way into my insomnia tonight. Thanks guys again for the hours of joy you have brought to me and many other.
I actually really like your hardware breakdowns. I've even edited down just the hardware breakdowns into a single video file. I've ordered them by release dates, so we can see the hardware evolution over time. It's fascinating, especially considering how different hardware was between consoles. Even among the same generation there were big differences, like Nintendo not using a Motorola 68000 chip, a processor common among arcade machines, whereas most competitors were focused on bringing the arcade experience home so they used a chip from that family. Nowadays things are pretty similar. I mean, look at PS4 vs X1. There are far more similarities between the two consoles than there are differences.
shoesifer GMR editing is one of those jobs that never get the recognition they deserve. It’s something that most people won’t notice until it’s being done poorly.
Flat out best gaming channel in UA-cam history. I definitely hope Dave still makes an occasional appearance or two. Thanks for all the awesome content Joe. I'm excited to see what new ideas you have in store!
I love this channel and all the work and time you put into these excellent releases. Thank you for all of this and I am a huge fan of seeing videos like this later on. It's a cool way to just sit back for a long time and take everything in. Thank you so much!
I love this idea! I watched all the original videos years ago, but one can always use a refresher. Honestly I'm really impressed with the quality of the older episodes... The video and audio editing are better than most UA-cam channels in 2020.
surely it's gotta be aboot as windy there as it is here in the netherlands too? got spared the piss showers until late in the afternoon over here, it was raining trees more than anything before.
Awesome stuff. Love all the content you guys put out and of such great quality. Hope Dave is doing well and look forward to a cameo from him in the future!
This 3 hour length makes it excellent to chill out to. Or slob out. Your personalities don’t take much space. For me that’s a compliment. I feel a bit shit at the moment, virus or something my body is working with. Thanks for this.

Illegal Priest Michelle Obama was always known as a huge fan of retro gaming, but also a self admitted noob as she didn’t have the time to research her passion for it. She would regularly ask guests of the White House what their favorite retro console was and their favorite game for it. It’s a pity that when Melania moved in, she gutted the retro game room to make room for a McDonalds. Some lucky dumpster diver had quite the field day in January of 2016. @@MungkaeX I told someone else about this, but I couldn’t remember where I read it. Now seeing this again, this is where I learned this months ago. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

Thanks for the video. I was able to update a couple of PC's without staring blankly into the windows spinning circle of death the whole time. Good to hear Dave again also.

Wow! Joe got a new partner for this episode. They look younger too, but it must have been tiresome to record all this footage, because they seemed older by the end. Thanks for all your hard work!
I have to say, this "Crunch" series speaks volumes of the overall quality of your channel. Maybe it's the whole apocalypse thing, but I found myself watching the entire thing, with great interest. May have taken me three days, but good watch nonetheless. 👊🏾
i find it kinda funny how stiff it feels when either dave or jow read off their critique for the first few minutes of this video, but i still think it's cool and fascinating to reconnect with these old videos. hyped for more.

Okay so in the Vajra section, around 1:02:30 there's a yellow symbol with like three claws facing up and three facing down. That _exact_ symbol is used for one of the relics you can obtain in the modern digital card game Slay the Spire. The relic gives you +1 strength I believe. I wonder what that symbol is!! Is it a preexisting thing that both games used, or is StS referencing a random ancient fmv game lol ...
That background music while explaining the TG16 encapsulates, for me, what CD game music was for that time.....brings back so many memories just hearing that bass line, synth brass sounds and drums....reminds me of my trusty ol' Sega CD.
This is interesting to see as a concept. I can imagine there were people excited and puzzled to see a new Game Sack this week. I started doing something similar to this a couple of months ago. I started putting together my own personal, custom Game Sack playlists to listen to while in bed to help me relax so I can sleep. I've had issues with insomnia in the past that I've been working on. Now, I have insomnia WITH Game Sack!!! Actually, my sleep has improved since doing this and a couple of other adjustments. It's great to listen to some of my favorite Game Sack episodes, many of which are the system episodes, though none of these yet. I was planning to add the TG16/PCE part two to the batch. I got some great ideas on games to check out from various episodes like Game Gear, Game Boy, GBA, etc. It makes me want to interrupt my sleep to better utilize my time. I'm currently picking out my third playlist, of about the same number of videos per list, to mix things up. I made a bit of a mistake, though it was slightly funny at the same time. I thought the episode on the Mister would be perfect for being in the rotation for something to listen to while in bed. It was in my second playlist, so I hadn't run into the problem with my first batch of chosen episodes. What happened was that multiple times, I was being jolted awake by a creepy voice("Sega....computer software.....presents...) and horror-movie music, then OUT RUN! That's a hilarious, totally mismatched intro to that game. So that one ended up being terrible for my late-night purposes. I'm hoping if I listen to the episodes enough times, you might change your ranking of Metroidvania games and put Harmony of Dissonance on the bottom of the list like I would. I think Order of Ecclesia deserves better. Dang you for having your own opinion on the matter. Anyway, as I said, it's interesting to see you do a compilation like this when I started doing something similar. I might try this video out and see if it fits my purposes. I'm just not sure I want to listen to anything about N64. I'm not a fan.
