JYP was wrong not including her for the group debut (Gina has been one of my top 4 during the show, especially after Melissa left) but he wasn't wrong about Gina lacking emotional engagement on her performances during A2K (I even rewatched again). I felt it many times too during her performances. This MV however, definitely shows the evolution of improvement the Gina we don't get to see in A2K. Possibly this is the result of what she has learned from her A2K experience & exit disappointment as well as also this song is her personal story/statement that helped her to bring out that emotion that was lacking before. The lyric, "This is me, you never gotta see the better version of me" maybe was directing to JYP... who knows... JYP was wrong not including her for the group debut (Gina has been one of my top 4 during the show, especially after Melissa left) but he wasn't wrong about Gina lacking emotional engagement on her performances during A2K (I even rewatched again). I felt it many times too during her performances. This MV however, definitely shows the evolution of improvement the Gina we don't get to see in A2K. Possibly this is the result of what she has learned from her A2K experience & exit disappointment as well as also this song is her personal story/statement that helped her to bring out that emotion that was lacking before. The lyric, "This is me, you never gotta see the better version of me" maybe was directing to JYP... who knows... Regardless Gina is only 14 and she has a bright future ahead of her & I wish her the best of luck! I can't wait to see your next MV, Gina!

KG even has gotten her blonde privilege when JYP gave her a free dance solo stone for simply being (in JYP's words) "the worst of all contestants!" It's EP5 go watch it!
