I believe we'll hear from JYPE and the girls soon! Hoping for the best for VCHA because they have alot of potential to be as big as ITZY and Twice
Let them cook. And by let them cook, I mean wait for Kaylee to age up. This is not a "she's too young and can't handle it" comment. It's a "she's too young for this to legal work in America" comment. Kaylee seemed like the most dedicated contestant on A2K. I bet she's pissed off at needing to wait.
If they were going to wait several years for Kaylee to age up, they should have never put her on the team tbh. Many people that were following A2K said that putting her in the group would be a bad idea and this is part of the reason why smh. JYP was not thinking, he was just rushing to beat HYBE.
Update: KG is suing JYP for inhumane treatment. Allegedly: They were made to work overtime and practice with injuries and illness. One of the members developed an eating disorder and attempted to end herself in February with pills and this was covered up. There were hidden cameras in their living quarters. There are many other allegations in the lawsuit. KG left VCHA. Good god, if this is all true it’s vile. I wish the best to the kids.
Regardless of the back story, VCHA is over. Yeah it's sucks, I was excited about them, still, if the girls can't or don't wanna perform anymore I accept it and move on.
JYP gave up on a group for not making 250M streams in a day, 1 week after debut 😂 So ridiculous knowing that success needs time. If JYP waited, vcha would have probably been huge now especially knowing that they had a pretty good discography. GOTY and only you were BOPs!
I heard somewhere that they didn't think the girls werent quite ready (Idk how to word that) and are retraining them. They were good as is though so I don't know how it'd make any sense
Have PATIENCE, if they disband so be it, but there's a concept change on the horizon VLIGHT forever ❤❤❤this is on REPUBLIC RECORDS too expensive too keep k-pop is hard period.
To have such a young group of GIRLS not be able to post on social media when that's LITERALLY that's age groups hobby is wild and sickening. Definitely a reflection of poor management from the company.
So like, I thought their sound was supposed to be like the beginning of *TWICE* and *NiziU* ? That's why I fell in love with their sound. And, I grew up on the 2000s Disney music sound. Lol. So, I guess, as an Elder Millennial, I definitely enjoy their sound a bit more. Now mind you, I also fell in love with XG's 2000s R&B sound, though I could never get into NewJeans, ILLIT and KATSEYE, their sounds are also heavy on the 2000s influence. That being said... VCHA is also under Republic Records. We barely hear updates from their other artists either until promotional time. But, it is strange that they went radio silent online, considering how active they were. It was also weird that JYP's Q2 report had a VCHA comeback listed, then the Q3 and another report removed said comeback information. All we can do is wait it out.
There needs to be laws put in place where idols cannot be under 18. Every single member in a in K-pop group should be an adult on debut. I hope they disband.
Truth is the group was a flop. There’s no cohesion. Pupils now that Katseye are a thing, they are just in shadow. Honestly there’s nothing they can do to even compete with them.
Ok so my friends aunt works at JYP and like hates K-pop so she doesn’t know anything about it but she said her aunt was talking about vcha and she said that their(vcha) parents were mad about how young some of the members were
In my opinion, minors shouldn't debut in K-pop or a kpop program to be a international group. I think 16, 17 could be accepted as a trainee.but they should only debut at 19, which is the age of majority in South Korea.Think about the stress when they become idols. Besides, if you are a foreigner, the right thing to do would be to learn the local language first. There are several groups of minors currently going through difficult situations. And many drop out of primary and secondary school to train non-stop and when someone asks a question that involves education, like a historical figure, if they don't know how to answer, they are crucified. I enjoyed watching the reality show but I thought the selection method was terrible. Several people I was rooting for didn't make it in. And from the beginning I found it strange to put 12 as the minimum age. Kpop companies should be more responsible. 😢
With KATSEYE debuted, I think VCHA will have a low chance of surviving as a pop group because of the target audience in western countries. Their concept is way too far from KATSEYE in which KATSEYE actually hooked to everyone with their debut album. VCHA needs some strong rebranding
It's not that it's too late or anything, but it kind of sucks knowing Camila had decided to pursue music rather than her degree and it seems like it didn't work out. I hope they find a way to make things work out. They're really cute and I loved watching their Journey in the Survival show. I also thought Only One was such a good song and really set a good tone for where they were going. It was like soft girly empowerment❤
Their concept and music just didn’t work with the audience. Whatever hype they had gained from that survival show, it quickly died down after that "disney debut". Honestly I won't be surprised if JYP moves on by disbanding them in the future or just puts them in "indefinite hiatus".
exactly, and compared to katseye, vcha is losing in categories like talent, songs, and even the groups name. jyp just wanted to make sure they were going to be the "First" international kpop group. he didn't let the girls actually develop in talent and gave them some disney rejected songs and called it a day. and now, the girls are paying the price for it.
@codhelenheli Can y'all push this Katseye competition elsewhere? Every time VCHA is mentioned, it's the same nonsense. JYPE does not disband groups just because they weren't received well on debut. That has literally never happened in the history of the company. Not even when NMIXX got dragged to hell their first year, not when Xdinary Heroes and NEXZ failed to make noise, never. There's something weird going on and if everyone was less focused on hating the girls, maybe we'd reach a place of actual concern and really try to figure out what the hell happened. Because as much as you guys think VCHA was flopping, they were doing fine for rookies. I mean a few months old with like five songs and you're booked for Lolla? Flopping isn't at the core of this.
This is why i like hybe tactics better they are very good at promoting their groups because they know they have the resources for it unlike jyp who was just rushing to be the first and look where that got him. Now the precious girls are no where to be seen😢
JYP forgot that no promo = further flop. Everyone knows that kpop is full of competition and groups have to be 24/7 active in order to survive. Putting a group on long hiatus will kll its career. Even bts on military kept on releasing content to keep their fans updated. Even if JYP makes them come back, half of their original fanbase already disappeared because of the long hiatus delay (unless they release the bop of the decade, it's gonna be hard)
At least Kaylee isn’t as young as Seowon Edit: you guys are acting like I’m hating on UNIS I’m literally a fan of them and Love their songs I’m just pointing out how it not right for F&F Entertainment to debut a 13 YEAR OLD and stop trying to justify it by saying she was in the industry before and y’all cannot act like the industry is toxic you y’all know it’s toxic
Seowon’s been in the korean entertainment industry longer than some 4th gen gg’s. She already has solo songs released. Stop comparing UNIS to other ggroups they all have background in entertainment industry already except for Kotoko and shes unnie line. Theyre not the normal kpop trainees. UNIS are allrounder prodigies that have solo careers before Universe Ticket
😂 You're comparing fresh blood to a younger-aged senior in the industry. UNIS literally grew up in the entertainment industry before they even debuted as a group(except for Kotoko). Heck, Seowon is a senior compared to these girls. That's like saying someone can't be a CEO because they're younger than you even though they have more experience and better qualifications than you do. 😂😂 Seowon was already part of the entertainment industry for years, long before Kaylee even showed up to join A2K. Girl had been active since 2018.
@@PTCannonFodderbeing active and being a kpop idol are different. Kids like that don’t have to sit through hours of fan meets with grown ass men, perform nearly every day, go to concerts, tour outside of their home country, do fancalls (again with creepy fans we even see how weird it gets with adult male idols on the receiving end), and more. None of her previous experiences justify mass voting a 12 year old into a kpop group.
@@iambarryallenstill doesn’t make it right. Choha also has been in the music industry for years and she’s 10 years old born in late 2013. Her sister (18) just debuted last week in say my name. If Choha was on a survival show would you vote her and have her debut at 11? Broadcasted to an audience of older men as opposed to being a child star? Child stardom and teenaged/adult idol careers are very different. What about Seo Eve who is 11 and released a solo song (kids soloist once again) this year? What about the 2015 born singers in Korea who have been active for 3 years since they were 6? Should we just debut kids left and right? Both we super young but seowon having experience changes nothing if anything it makes it worse bc she’d never had a moment outside of the spotlight since she was 7
No you’re right these people defending seowon are crazy and I bet they were the same type that said Wonhee was too young and untalented to debut… Wonhee who is 4 years older than seowon. Bc almost all people who said wonhee was too young were simultaneously voting for Iroha who is younger so they make excuses like that
When the promo pics for Girls of The Year dropped...that was the beginning of the end...whitening Camila and Savanna's skin (as if they weren't already light skinned enough), straightening Savanna's hair...that's when they lost me. Katseye got it right, immediately. I look at every girl and got a sense of their culture or where they're from. There's something for everyone. JYP claims to be so full of soul, but where is it??!!! They shouldn't comeback until they got the formula right.
Really! I just thought that they were using skincare that made their skin more pale……. I’m a JYPE stan but that’s just taking away the whole concept of a global gg……
Idk where but I heard someone I think it was someone who knew a member or smth but vcha was going to go and train a bit more and have a comeback at something in 2025 idk if they actually will but that's what I heard
im really worried about them but i think they are haveing a come back bc cristina the one who didnt make it in the group said on tiktok live that she cant say anything but she said they are okay
they simply didn't sell, and JYP doesn't want to publicly admit it, so they all have hardcore contracts not allowing them to do or announce anything, and JYP is waiting for the world to forget the group existed
Why are all the global/American groups always rumored to not get along? Does anyone else see a pattern between the members themselves of all of these groups?
Not for nothing jyp should have never debuted Kaylee at such a young age. To be honest he’s kind of a hypocrite, he told natty who was 13 at the time of being on the show “Sixteen” that she was too young to debut and she still needed time to grow and wait until she was older. So why debut Kaylee? She’s too young now look you have a girl group who’s not doing anything and losing out on opportunities.
I have worked in Theatre Production for a while now, I was never a manager but I know plenty of Managers and have regular conversations with them in the line of my work. My theory is that they are trying to get the girls that still have school to graduate early so that way there is one less restriction on thier time, also to buy time for Kaylee to recuperate and also get ahead in her studies, give time for the girls to just train up more, make more songs that they can take their time with, and for the company to rework thier concept. Everything was just too rushed, I think they want this next step to be a restart, a Re-Debut if you will instead of a traditional comeback so they want to keep things hushed for as long as possible but its starting to piss off the fans 😅
Actually a2k started back in 2022 or at least the auditions started at that period, then it was uploaded on 2023. Why am I saying these? Bc if im not mistaken new episodes were like every Wednesday and in some tasks the girls had over a month to prepare so I genuinely dont think they made us wait for over a month for a new episode. PLS IF IM WRONG IM SORRYYY I DONT REMEMBER THAT MUCHHH
I like them but got disappointed in hearing the rumors of their disbandment, happy to hear them coming back in 2025. At least they got a chance. Of course it could be a live or die comeback. Wait and see then.
Pretty sure JYP just forgot they exist while making his *40th new band on yet another show for another market. If they don't gain instant success, we may never hear from them again. Hell, he barely remembers ITZY and NMIXX.
I honestly didn't know them at all. Are they not that popular? The only ones I'm aware of is BTS, Twice, TXT, Red Velvet, TVXQ, Katseye, NCT, Seventeen, FX, Stray Kids, Got7 etc.
I am really scared for the girls because I am one of their biggest supporters. They are really talented and I dont want JYP to mistreat them because if he gives them proper comeback and promotion they will be popular.
Honestly, I’m thinking that Kaylee is no longer in the group due to her health issues and they’re focusing on re-recording/re-choriographing everything without her.

I love Vcha and I hate all the things I’m hearing from online I do understand now people are worried but but I highly doubt they’ll disband I think the online community is just blowing it out of proportion My guess and I could be completely wrong but I’m gonna guess there all gonna comeback after January or a later month with a new and different sounding song
I just have a gut feeling Vcha will be fine
I could be completely wrong but I just don’t think up will dispand a group they just debuted they didn’t do that to the bang group they have like day6
(I can’t think of there name I forgot there name)
I think they’ll be fine I think we should all just calm down
@@Kharvana08 oh wow really? Well I hope she’s doing ok!
man 2024 isnt a good year for ggs.. these poor girls deserve better, i was really rooting for them but i hope they all leave that toxic company
I'm mostly a JYP stan, usually it takes long for JYPE to release a statement/update but when the time comes to release statements/updates, they'll give us multiple and thorough detailing.
They were mistreated and KG wants to leave
she already left
I watched their auditions on A2K...
I'm auditioning for JYP currently so this makes me worried...
Regardless of the back story, VCHA is over.
Yeah it's sucks, I was excited about them, still, if the girls can't or don't wanna perform anymore I accept it and move on.
JYP gave up on a group for not making 250M streams in a day, 1 week after debut 😂
So ridiculous knowing that success needs time. If JYP waited, vcha would have probably been huge now especially knowing that they had a pretty good discography. GOTY and only you were BOPs!
They naturally fizzled out, it happens with kpop groups, the success and longevity in the business is never guaranteed
but vcha is not kpop, their a global girl group like xg and katseye
@@LimonelgueyXg is not a global girl group they are Xpop and Jpop
Its hard to say that they "fizzled out" when their career had barely started.
@@FabulousJinshi they are a global girl group, they are not jpop
@Limonelguey Xg may sing in English, but they are actually Jpop
I heard somewhere that they didn't think the girls werent quite ready (Idk how to word that) and are retraining them. They were good as is though so I don't know how it'd make any sense
They will Resume Their Activities Next Year...I Saw It In one of Jyp's Article that Vcha Members were Having health Issues
Have PATIENCE, if they disband so be it, but there's a concept change on the horizon VLIGHT forever ❤❤❤this is on REPUBLIC RECORDS too expensive too keep k-pop is hard period.
i hope so. the girls don't deserve such a flop ;-;
To have such a young group of GIRLS not be able to post on social media when that's LITERALLY that's age groups hobby is wild and sickening. Definitely a reflection of poor management from the company.
😭 the poor girls...
I saw vcha at the twice concert they are ready they are stable live and dancing is fierce and they are synchronized and talented
For the last time vcha isn't kpop its global. There are many minors in global groups and u should prob do some research
KG is suing JYP.
With KATSEYE debuted, I think VCHA will have a low chance of surviving as a pop group because of the target audience in western countries. Their concept is way too far from KATSEYE in which KATSEYE actually hooked to everyone with their debut album.
VCHA needs some strong rebranding
Fr
It's not that it's too late or anything, but it kind of sucks knowing Camila had decided to pursue music rather than her degree and it seems like it didn't work out. I hope they find a way to make things work out. They're really cute and I loved watching their Journey in the Survival show. I also thought Only One was such a good song and really set a good tone for where they were going. It was like soft girly empowerment❤
If I'm not mistaken, VCHA opened up for Twice in Mexico and Brazil way before the Las Vegas show.
They did but this was before the disappearance
theyre litterally coming back in 2025 it has been confirmed please dont worry about them we should only start worrying if they dont come back by then
Their concept and music just didn’t work with the audience. Whatever hype they had gained from that survival show, it quickly died down after that "disney debut". Honestly I won't be surprised if JYP moves on by disbanding them in the future or just puts them in "indefinite hiatus".
I agree.
exactly, and compared to katseye, vcha is losing in categories like talent, songs, and even the groups name. jyp just wanted to make sure they were going to be the "First" international kpop group. he didn't let the girls actually develop in talent and gave them some disney rejected songs and called it a day. and now, the girls are paying the price for it.
@@codhelenheli katseye is a joke
@@haroldk724uhm no. They’re more popular than Vcha and have gone viral lots of times. When did Vcha ever do that? *You’ve* been so out of TOUCH~~
Taht silence was so loud i though my headphones stopped working 😭
There was a release around 11 hours ago, saying activities will resume next year
Whats with the random audio silence around 4:40? Are my headphones broken or your audio also randomly cut? It lasts till 5:20
Sameee
it was a moment of silence for the group because they probably aint coming back
Sound cuts off around the 4:41 min part
What if JYP putted them on hiatus to get them to fit KBS and come back as 'better'?
Guys their working on music, Don't worry
UNIS maknae was born in 2010 so I find this really suspicious. It cannot be that the only reason is their ages.
This is why i like hybe tactics better they are very good at promoting their groups because they know they have the resources for it unlike jyp who was just rushing to be the first and look where that got him. Now the precious girls are no where to be seen😢
Oh yeah like HYBE is such a stand-up type of crook
Hybe literally has the best promotions in KPOP.
I thought they were taking a break 😂😂😂😂
What happened to the audio halfway through?
JYP forgot that no promo = further flop.
Everyone knows that kpop is full of competition and groups have to be 24/7 active in order to survive. Putting a group on long hiatus will kll its career. Even bts on military kept on releasing content to keep their fans updated. Even if JYP makes them come back, half of their original fanbase already disappeared because of the long hiatus delay (unless they release the bop of the decade, it's gonna be hard)
At least Kaylee isn’t as young as Seowon
Edit: you guys are acting like I’m hating on UNIS I’m literally a fan of them and Love their songs I’m just pointing out how it not right for F&F Entertainment to debut a 13 YEAR OLD and stop trying to justify it by saying she was in the industry before and y’all cannot act like the industry is toxic you y’all know it’s toxic
Seowon was already part of the entertainment industry for years, long before Kaylee even showed up to join A2K.
Bc almost all people who said wonhee was too young were simultaneously voting for Iroha who is younger so they make excuses like that
4:50 - 5:23 the silence was loud
I guess she didn't thank beyonce
@@LaylaH-qv5go Exactly 💯
They have been gone for so long that I wouldn’t be surprised that anything could be possible for them.
Now im kinda scared to be a jyp trainee.....idk if i should go for it anymore
Idk where but I heard someone I think it was someone who knew a member or smth but vcha was going to go and train a bit more and have a comeback at something in 2025 idk if they actually will but that's what I heard
im really worried about them but i think they are haveing a come back bc
cristina the one who didnt make it in the group said on tiktok live that she cant say anything but she said they are okay
Did anyone else have complete silence from 4:37 to 5:17?
Yep
they simply didn't sell, and JYP doesn't want to publicly admit it, so they all have hardcore contracts not allowing them to do or announce anything, and JYP is waiting for the world to forget the group existed
Well that’s not really fair to say since they were only active for a very short time.
Why are all the global/American groups always rumored to not get along? Does anyone else see a pattern between the members themselves of all of these groups?
Lost sound in some of the video
Now KATSEYE is here and XG they deffs have no chance
JYPとメンバー間で契約に関するトラブルがあって話し合いをしているのではないかという意見が日本では多いです
Actually a2k started back in 2022 or at least the auditions started at that period, then it was uploaded on 2023. Why am I saying these? Bc if im not mistaken new episodes were like every Wednesday and in some tasks the girls had over a month to prepare so I genuinely dont think they made us wait for over a month for a new episode. PLS IF IM WRONG IM SORRYYY I DONT REMEMBER THAT MUCHHH
I’m glad they’ve gone. This is clearly a blessing in disguise and hopefully they girls can ACTUALLY pursue greener pastures.
Just to slear things up it was jype usa not jyp korea so please dont hate jyp entertainment blame jyp usa
I am really scared for the girls because I am one of their biggest supporters. They are really talented and I dont want JYP to mistreat them because if he gives them proper comeback and promotion they will be popular.
Guys can you please explain what happened to MA:VE like- did they disband???
They will wait for kaylee to be 15 so she could look and act like a teenager not a child
I never doubted kaylee she was the most mature among them and was a fast learner and she helped others a lot too
she shouldn't have debuted but kept as a trainee for future groups
The Six member course!!!!!! OMGG 😱😭😭😭😭
Maby it’s the 6 member curse
The silence from
4:39-5:19 was too loud
I wish they had a highschool girl crush type of concept and debuted with Only One.. but they decided to let them debut early with a Kidz Bop song..
Honestly, I’m thinking that Kaylee is no longer in the group due to her health issues and they’re focusing on re-recording/re-choriographing everything without her.
Same, I think she’s just taking a break and they’re just figuring things out…
They're all fine and coming back in 2025 someone from jyp gave an official statement about them@@LaylaH-qv5go
Xo call me is their best song , i love them but hopefully they'll get a rebrand to keep up with the trends
I still think they've been making a Disney show or something.
