Michael Lee must of felt like he won the lottery when they asked him to come on their tours in the 90's as the drummer.....the look of pure joy on his face is palpable.....
Oh definitely, anybody that says they wouldn't be insanely delighted to drum for them would be lying. He earned his paychecks too, exceptional drummer.
In those moments you see what kind of relationship they had, and you see Jimmy smile and laugh, he respected Robert enough to understand it was just a mistake by no fault of his own.
@@pluggy86 I've seen photos of Plant with a teleprompter in front of him, so it's probably a memory thing. Luckily, it didn't screw up the song, but Jimmy certainly noticed it.
Michael Lee friggin dragged that band wherever he wanted to take them. What a joy to watch him play. Driving the train , imo Page and Plant were lucky to have him. Jeezus this is so so good! Fuck!
wow, they were so good, it was so good of Jimmy and Robert to invite them, and damn, they sure added to this great show, cool you ran into them, thanks for sharing, peace !!
2023: Something special about this song and the time that it was released. I've always loved this song, from long ago. Great Performance, as always. Thank You & Best Regards.
Saw this tour. They were amazing. They didn't play "Dancing Days" at my show. I saw the night they played in Orange County, Ca. They played a long 25 minute electric guitar set that was awesome. The rest of the show was acoustic like the UnPlugged album. Jimmy had the best acoustic sound I have ever heard live. It was amazing. It was like his acoustic was on acid or something. Just incredible.
Good Lord anyone who's ever done production can tell on-the-spot that what happened at 3:11 is entirely the rest of the band _NOT_listening to Page.....so OK, they rescued the disaster and kept it going, but he (Page) then again..._AGAIN_ cued them into where the downbeat was and (watch, seriously, WATCH&LISTEN and you'll see that only two, _TWO_ of the Egyptian violinists locked onto what was really happening) good God, it doesn't take a PhD in Musicology to immediately see how Page (in spite of his public persona of "stoned musician") was literally trying to keep the entire ensemble in lockstep to what was actually an extremely easy and simply 4-on-the-floor beat!! Besides being a tribute to the musicality of J Page, this is a testimony to the impact of of one J. Bonham....because how could anyone doubt that if he was "keeping time", that the rest couldn't follow......
LOL PLant kinda copies the violinist tossing up his tambourine at the end , haha and Plant drops his and pieces bust off !!!! Love it Love it, Love it, i'll have more I miss Zeppelin desperately seeking Plant and Page dreams always in the most mysterious place this small stadium type of venue like this but it's way more connective, i can't explain the afterlifeness feelings my dreams can get, but i try to explain it. you all know........:)
For me it's either dreams of Moody Blues or CCR concerts. In one of the Moody Blues ones, I woke up just before they came on stage. I was ticked off...
I really like how weird Page and Plant got in the 90s. They still had vitality and the skill to traverse different genres without becoming a parody like so many of their contemporaries did.
Don't say that plant sucks dude!remember he's older here.our voices can get weaker as we age you should know.but his was still strong here.lets see you sing on stage.how well can you last before people throw stuff at you from the fans and you'll get kicked off stage I bet.
Michael Lee is undoubtedly a great choice for the tour drummer, but he is sooo far behind the beat on this number someone should get him am alarm clock.
John Asheton your a very funny comedian. Some how you pop up on everything they did. With negativity. Promote your own music or something. You are really bitter. Move on.

shame he didn't last very long
Definitely!!!!
And died young like Bonzo. So weird their drummer curse. Fantastic video!!!
Are you kidding? He was one in the best rock drummers on the planet! How insulting…..
Jimmy's face at 3:13 when he realizes Robert missed a verse - Priceless!!
3rd ngay.

Jimmy lost a solo there. lol

Everyone in that backing band seemed to be having the time of their life playing such a great song, by such amazing songwriters.
I saw them in Chile 96 when I was 22 years old...just amazing! One of the best gig in my life...
I have that concert you saw on my channel. It’s audio only but it’s an FM radio broadcast so the quality is very good
Michael Lee friggin dragged that band wherever he wanted to take them. What a joy to watch him play. Driving the train , imo Page and Plant were lucky to have him. Jeezus this is so so good! Fuck!
Michael Lee was such a hurricane force on the drums. RIP, man.
This tune is the epitome of Zep swagger and it is fuckin' awesome.
Saw this tour in 1995 or 1996 in Hartford CT!! Awesome !! Closest thing to Led Zeppelin we have gotten !
Cool. I was at this show and ran into the Egyptian dudes in the parking lot after the concert.
wow, they were so good, it was so good of Jimmy and Robert to invite them, and damn, they sure added to this great show, cool you ran into them, thanks for sharing, peace !!
i love it when bands bring in others to collaborate on fantastic music.
How the hell did page come up with so many cool riffs every zeppelin song is a banger
Alternate tuning, I've just figured this one out 😁
@@simonsheldrick468 yea you're right the man did mess with alot of different tunings
I disagree to be honest. But this is one of the good ones.
Page is awesome! I've been a Led Zep fan all of my life! They never disssapointed me.✌️
He is a fucking genius, thats how.
Jimmy’s face at 3:13 very fun! Melted my heart 🥰
Oh my, one solo is gone now
best of hard rock

Espectacular el registro ¿Como se llama este concierto completo? Suenan genial.
Plant's flagging and Page is making Lady Stoneheart look good. And they're still great.
Love Jimmy 💕
I think I was at this concert the date seems right. I saw it at the tacoma dome. Whoops I just checked it out they were in tacoma one week later.

Very good
Wonder how much it costs to fly an Egyptian orchestra to LA to perform just one song?
They won the lottery when micheal lee said yes !
Jack Black said it best..."Best damn band, EVER"!!!
Hey Dancing is fun!

How did he pass? What a shame
@@richardedupre2018 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Lee_(musician)
I saw Page/Plant 3 times. All were absolutely fantastic. Would have been better with Jonsey however!
What venue is this?
May 17, 1995 at The Forum in Inglewood, California
Tnx, will look for the whole show, awesome sight n sound!👍
Thomas Axel B make sure you seek out the 'Third Eye Productions' version, it's the best quality version out there
Randy Butternubs 👍 will fetch it on Dime....
this shit is sick
who is the drummer?
john bonhom the glue behind zeppelin
Fucking Awesome !!! (Except for Plant dropping the tambourine at the end )
Kashmir was done the same way
Can’t even hear them Pharaohs--
I love led Zeppelin but much prefer the original studio recording of this song. Seems the experiment went a little off course on this one.
You know a sheet about music
I really like how weird Page and Plant got in the 90s. They still had vitality and the skill to traverse different genres without becoming a parody like so many of their contemporaries did.
the alchemistic reunion tour of the 1990s
Isn’t that Jason playing drums
No, it's the late Michael Lee.
no michael lee.....better than jason

Why can't the two of you do this again...In 2024?...All around the world? Oh...and don't forget to bring Alison!
What up with the dead drummers
They are all someones sons thats whats up with them, just because you can say something doesnt mean you hsve too

Unlucky circumstances I suppose
Weird string section....
I feel like Gene Wilder was the comedian version of Robert Plant.
STP covered this song a thousand times better.
Sound quality yuk
it was great live...your judging it by an audience recording....lol
john scialfa ...I’m judging by what is posted here Yuk,. Oh yeah. You shoulda heard the Beatles Live, Jim! They wuz great.
El chiste de la canción era la voz aguda de Plant
that's not true.
That was pretty horrible for real. Start to finish

Bullshit!!
Fuckin spinal tap.
John Asheton your a very funny comedian. Some how you pop up on everything they did. With negativity. Promote your own music or something. You are really bitter. Move on.
Drummer Michael Lee was better than Bonham and I don’t say that lightly. What a joy to listen to him and watch he was. RIP.
Absolutely not better than Bonzo.
@@nathananderson8204 It’s a personal thing obviously but I think Lee could play Bonzo rhythms in his sleep and not vice versa.
