Thank you very much. My 50" Hisense H50B7100 had the same exact problem, so I tossed the coin and took the chance. The most difficult part was removing the white back light reflector, I had to use an hairdryer to let it loose, but it was quite a mess...
Anyway, the work needed a lot of patience and care, but now my TV is back on 😊 on the kitchen wall.
Changed all four led stripes with pullovers from a damaged donor TV, that's all I could find here.
It's been only 30€, repair shop asked 180€ which was not worth it against the 300€ I paid the TV.
    Thank you again.

No TV should have a lifetime of 3 years or less. My sharp lcd TV has 20 years no issue. Even if you repair it. The LEDs will last 3 years. Or capacitors will dry up. Basically bad design with 3rd level components.

I've changed all three strip led with new , so i hope this tv will last at least another 4 year, hopefully.

Good video. So here's what I did:
    1. Had LED blink issue, no display
    2. Tried taping part of the right side ribbon. TV got on and sound worked fine but no display. Tried taping different parts on right side ribbon, same result = no display but TV works (sound on menu etc)
    3. Then tried taping left side ribbon (left part of display main cable), no display again. Eventually when taping different pins, display finally worked. There's a dim horizontal dark grey lines which is not visible from 5 feet apart. So I think this is the only possible solution to get the TV to work somehow. In my country it's almost impossible to repair or have to pay a hefty price.
TLDR: Try taping the ribbon cable pins on both side (left ribbon and right ribbon too) 4-5 pins at a time. Eventually display works. This is for all those guys who say they fixed the blinking issue, but no display. This could work. Worked for me.

I'm researching all of the possible issues with my Hisense 65H6570F, not seeing any puffed caps, discoloration around any parts or on the board.
So I found this video and your comment.. so you literally took electrical tape and applied to the ribbon cables until it was operating normal?

    • @MohammedAneek
      @MohammedAneek 10 місяців тому

@@FounderOf4Yes, but the catch is that you will see black faint lines horizontally. You could see those lines from a feet or 2 in front easily, but the screen will look normal from 5 feet away since the lines are more like transparent black lines. Apparently covering those pins will block horizontal display lines, so I guess the specific led which is causing the issue (current short probably), is ignored so the system runs fine without the error detection.

Managed to convince Hisense to send me the firmware file, loaded on a flash drive. Had a bit of trouble getting it to enter the software update mode.
Ps is hold the power button down on the remote.

My Samsung 50" QLED TV is doing the same thing.. it won't turn on. The screen goes blue momentarily and then back to black and the standby light keeps flickering on and off. I'm guessing it could be the same issue. I have replaced the TV with a Hisense, but would like to try and repair the Samsung or at least sell it for parts. I'm guessing it would be a similar repair although obviously the parts will look different inside.

Same TV, same problem; I'm having a tough time believen it is a faulty LED, considering you did not show nor the faulr or the replacement itself. Hisense ppl say the 2 blink code indicates a board issue, but OC, thats the default answer from their side. However, since you didnt show the process as a whole, can't agree on its legitimacy.

It was LEDs however that section wasn’t recorded very well. Feel free to try changing the main board if you want to, all TVs develop different faults

if the LED light is broken which is meant to be the longest lasting 25.000 minimum, hours or 2.8 years, then something is wrong with the quality of LED"s used by Hisense, rubbish as most LED should last double that, no heat management behind the LED diodes denotes very poor quality
