I have not tried either; I use R89 mostly as I prefer a milder razor with a sharp blade, as a combination. But I have always wanted to try the R41 as it seems to be legendary! Have you tried the GS steel version of the R41? I would assume that being heavier it would be a touch more aggressive. Thanks for the review. 🙂

Well, that doesn't need to mean a lot. Rocca is also stainless steel but maybe just 10-20g heavier. DS S9 is a rock compared to both 😁 Perhaps, just price-wise, R41 in chrome, for 15-16$ is just fine (35$ with handle) would be (and is) my choice. Thanks for feedback! Cheers 🎉

thanks to your advice I do have them both and like them equally , but Rocca is more suitable for daily shavers imo, Smother then r41 and efficient enough,

Could be, that's why I started this "muhle duel" on short stubble first. I have few weird growing spots, which aggressive razors tackle better but sometimes comes with the price. Not always to be clear 😁 Let's say that R41 won this round by better scooping low-growing whiskers, nothing more. Sometimes closed bar just feels better and I do have much more closed bar razors than open combs

@Wicked-Whiskers you just keep with awsome work with this Chanel, someone will recognize hard work and honest reviews, either shaving companies or major artisans.

Haha, thanks but this is just my way of preparation for work, presentations, public speaking and English. So far it's helping me a lot and is super entertaining, so my goals are already reached 🤗

Relatable. A 2-day beard is probably the trickiest to shave off for me 😅 My Fatip never did a comfortable job against such growth, so my understanding was that I have to wait at least 3 days to have a comfortable shave. Now that I have an R41 I did several shaves with 2 days worth of growth just for the sake of "science" and it was nice and smooth, pretty much no issues. So now I can shave every other day if I ever have to, which is cool to know :D
Also, I might be making it up, but I feel like my hair feels differently when growing back, depending on the tool I have used to take it down. It's sometimes softer, sometimes tougher...

Exactly my feel when it compares Rocca with anything else, must be some relation with blade angle. R41 for me might be bit safer but beard re-growth is the scruffiest ever 😁 It's not the most ideal shave to switch from heavy vs light razor, as I can't remember so much Rocca scraping, it usually works way better for me

Hi neighbor. So the rocca is less confortable. The r41 defeated the rocca 🙂 Nice 👍 keep crackin out great content

That's how this round went, Rocca does not like mine sandpaper stubble but on longer beard... that would be a butter-smooth 🤗
