He does sound like a reasonable man after all.
THAT is what the old fuck, wearing the combat gear said in MM2;, Yep I'm an fan myself.! :)
How do you expect us to get it there?..Drag it!? The old man in the world war 2 uniform! LOL
You win
@@DrLeePercussion If we have to, yes! There's always a way
😂😂😂😂😂
the Ayatollah of rocknrolla
Nemanja Milosevic lol ive only just stopped laughing after 10 min
That line is used in Waterworld too
YES!!!
That’s gold mate one of the best movie lines in history for sure
Kjell will forever be remembered for one of the most iconic roles in film history. he looked and sounded incredible in Mad Max 2. I'll never forget him giving Wez a bear hug until Wez passed out.
That’s legendary absolutely that’s a mean leader , putting Mohawk Wes to sleep 💤 with a bear 🐻 hug that’s legendary omg absolutely
This movie it’s a mind blowing legendary scenes from beginning to end so much legendary moments
I think it was a sleeper hold that Lord Humongous gave Wez.
Totally agree👍🏼
He did unleash his dogs of war and they almost won...
Until Max entered the chat.
This came out the year I was born and was also the first movie I remember watching all the way through.
The Road Warrior, Christine, The Hitchhiker, and The Terminator got me hooked on film and television and all have a very special place in my heart.
I'm 43 now and watched this again for the first time and it brought back all these special feelings of nostalgia.
You know a film is good when it has that effect on you!
I knew Vernon Wells (Wez) went on to do Weird Science and Commando, but I never knew who actually played Lord Humungus...and that's what brought me here.
Hope to visit Australia before my time is up and my very best friend/Pen-Pal through social media who I met way during the MySpace era lives right outside Sydney and I would certainly love to meet her and her family.
AND I ALWAYS WANTED THAT CAR!
Payment for this interview was a fat tank of gas...
class comment
What a puny payment
The Ayatollah of the rock n rolla! 😂😂💯💯
“Be still my dog of war. I understand your pain. We've all lost someone we love...”
"We'll do it my way " 😂
ONCE again you HAVE MADE ME UNLEASH MY DOGS OF WAR
I'd love know Humungus backstory - maybe the subtle hints are enough....
@@Paul_1971 WHAT A PUNY COMMENT
He still looks fit after 37 yrs from the road warrior.
becouse he is a bodybuilder 😁
Watched that movie in 1981 and just now. Such a great flick. The cars and story. Wow. No CGI Crap in that movie. Loved the custom made cars. Humongous was a great villain.
You got that right 👌
He's a tragic villain to survive in the wasteland you have to be brutal and Savage yet tempered and controlled focused not distracted with puny plans
@Jon. Rubbish. The Settlers were surviving in the wasteland through cooperative effort and civility.
Humungus and his gang were brutal and savage because that’s what they Chose to be.
@@chuckscott4661 were they really? Where were they getting water from ? More than likely they were supposed to trade with the Humongus and then they stiffed him on the bill just like they tried to do to Max if you remember..civility and cooperation my ass they were just as bad as the alleged raiders
The Humongus was a hero the gas hoarders were the villains Max was just a loner that fell in with them for his own purposes, where was the refinery getting their water? Probably from trading with the Humongus then they stiffed him on the bill just like they were going to do to Max if you remember.
He's an Old school Swede! Great lads.
One does not simply censor Lord Humungous
He was awesome!!!! Thank you Kjell for such a great performance!!!!
"What a puny plan"
And I spare you lives.
One of the best action films ever made.
Damned straight.
No CGI, real stunts.
Some stunts the stuntmen fasted before the shot so they'd be ready to be rushed into surgery if something went wrong
‘Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich.’
OMG... lol
Bloody gold mate far out 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
A norwegian girlfriend always sing it to me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Among the best movies ever made 👍
“Just walk away” The Lord Humungus said Lord of the Wasteland He just wanted The Gazzoline!
Humungus provides a lesson in leadership. Imagine the skills and sense of logos (truth) it requires to lead a band of aggressive survivors in the wasteland. In my opinion, Humungus is the real hero of that film.
An interesting perspective!
No offense, but there’s nothing heroic about being a murderer.
Humungus simply proves what we already know.
That even psychopaths have the charisma and ability to lead a large band of willing psychopaths.
@@chuckscott4661 Yeah, I think you're right. The character is pretty terrifying really. Imagine having to deal with that!
Humongous was the real hero. 💯💯💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
How the hell is he not in more movies!?!? He would make a perfect villain back then and now and days in every goddamn movie!!!!!!!!
I am gravely disappointed, again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
"Look at what remains of your gallant scouts"...
I understand your pain, we all lost someone we love... but We will do this interview my way. We will do it MY way!
SOON YOU WILL HAVE YOUR REVENGE
This guy is prob my fav character outside of Max in all the series. His onscreen chemistry was so riveting as a child, I was both terrified and in awe of him at the same time. He's prob my #2 fav villain of any 80's action movie outside of Darth Vader, or Thulsa in Conan The Barbarian.
Oh that is a great line up, thanks for sharing!
Great actor!!
The good old days before CGI. When movies we're awesome!
"Again you made me unleashed my dogs of war " 💯💯💯
He's right. I was there on day one when they filmed the "Humungus Line Up" and it was freezing cold. Some mornings we couldn't get the ice off the windshields of the cars.
And most of all I remember the road warrior the man we called max to go back you must remember how cold it was when the desert sprouted ice on our interceptor
What did you do for the movie
@@neuregel Rode a motorcycle.
@@charliebrown4624 did you chase down the decoy cars? Was so sad she was raped and killed
@@neuregel Nobody was raped and killed. The only violence I ever saw was people fightinh over the egg and bacon rolls at breakfast time.
You have defied me! You will know the vengeance of The Lord Humungus! I promise you nobody, nobody gets out of here alive!
Nnnnnnnnnoooooooo bbbbooodddyyyyyy!!!!!!
If I went to this guy for an autograph and he said just walk away. I swear I would giggle like a school girl.
LOL That would be cooler than get that autograph! :-)
Lol 😂
THE AYATOLLAH OF ROCK 'N' ROLLER!
The greatest gang leader introducing in history
There will be no more pain.. No more suffering...
Yeh he's a cult hero now isnt he?
"-no more games! no mo-re ga-mes!"
Walk away, just walk away...and the horror will end.
"...Just walk away, and there'll be an end to the horror..."
This folks is a real man.🍺
The Man the myth The Humungus
Humungus RULES the wasteland!
yep, pretty soon too, I d say he s up to it.
''Just walk away..''
He looks a bit like Charles Dance.
What a great honest person.... Love it...
My favorite villain of all time
Him and Mohawk Wes the two greatest villains the same Mad Max movie
Is he really a villain? Or is he a tragic hero?
He's right ,in 81 mucle builds like that were very freaky and uncommon
Great acting in Mad Max - II - TY!!!
WOW - not the Aussie Humungus bloke i was expecting to see and hear now almost 40 years later when i lived in Oz as a kid 80-84 and watched the movie living in Deniliquin and I think the movie was all shot in NSW
"you disobey me . Puppy.."
" herpe. "...
big greetings for the great legend of Humungus (greetings from Serbia)
only my favorite movie as a kid/teenager was born in '79... so grew up with this stuff! Great character!!! Great movie! "Just WALK AWAY....." Loved the Mad Max character my old man was a bit of a loner road warrior driving Mack trucks from when he was young (the old twin sticks) and moving furniture... had some crazy stories on the road jackknifing the trailer on icy roads and he saw it catching up with him in the mirror! Also great interview - sounds like a smart guy and someone you could train with have a beer with!
Easily one of the most iconic, horrifying antagonists of all time!
Top 5 greatest villains to me!!
Not a villain but a tragic hero
No body! no body!.....will get out of here alive!........I promise you!
Ragnar6000 no testicle! NO TESTICLE gets out of night in The Outback-Ali e! Oh shit oh shit oh shit!
Sei stato un mito per tutti noi e sempre lo sarai come attore, come atleta e come persona nella vita odierna.
You have defied me !
The post apocalypse has a really good gym for working out in Mad Max 2.
Kjell Nillson speaks very good English for an ethnic Swede starring in an Australian film
Is it me or did he make Vernon Wells look a little small!
2:29 The censor of the video is about as much use as an indicator on a taxi cab....😁
When movies were good and stunts weren't CGI....
Most of Fury Road wasn't cgi.
man this was great i always wondered who he was.i wish u had some behind the scene footage then and now.
Love him!
“Just walk away, leave the pumps.....the oil.....the whole compound and I spare you lives and give you free passage in the wasteland.”
Fifi was never that big plus he’d have no reason not to acknowledge Max.
He was lying, everybody would had their cornholio turned inside out the minute they left the compound.
Just watched a few videos on mad max, the behind the scenes are just as amazing as the films. Nothing about the films disappoints.
Fun fact: Max's car(black on black) was purchased new from a dealer and was used during production by the cast and crew for whatever.
Ye. After being heavily modified.
Yeah thats the Ford Falcon
I didn't know they purchased it new
Real question was it really destroyed like it was in the movie?
I always wanted Max's car and KITT
Would be awesome to own one
HUMUNGUS!!!!👋🤣👍you da man!
The one and the only truly leader of the Wasteland!
This dude the Lord humongous seems so cool and down to earth to me for some reason I'd love to have a conversation with him share a few beers and take it from there. 😎
Ohhh my goodness gracious legendary 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
ah man i hate seeing my heroes old
Nice to finally see your face
Arguably the greatest villain
Sounds like a reasonable man...
you help make that movie great 👍
Juss wok Oway, juss wok Oway. Nuubuddy, Nuubuddy! 😂🤪
Real honest man
Just walk away & there will be an end to the horror.
Dude, he looks fucking great.
Ruler of the waste land
How do you expect us to get it there?..Drag it!? The old man in the world war 2 uniform! LOL
Dr Lee Percussion If we have to! Papagello remarked. There's always a way.
What's as good as Kjell and his character is......all the comments below,no bullshit just pure respect and loyalty the the movie.
There's been to much Violence
Much respect and just a badass!
I'd love to interview him....But he'd probably just tell me..." Just walk away"....
Hope everyone in that movie got paid over the years, Still the Greatest movie ever
Awesome
Omg. My idol
Be still my dog of war! 🐕
Am I the only own who remembers Humungus as also being a wrestler? Not sure if he was portrayed by Nilsson as a wrestler but there was a "Lord Humungus" wrestling in the 80's.
Sid Vicious started his wrestling career as Lord Humongous.
legend!!
Have you done any blue movies!!!
So is this the voice of the Humungus or did they dub him?
Phil Mellor It's his voice in the movie.
It sounds as though they may have done something to make his voice a little more gravelly in the movie, but otherwise, he sounds the same.
@@Hibernicus1968 Yeah...that's what I'm thinking. They got lucky finding a performer who looked the part and had a great voice for the part. My circle of old friends still mimic the lines to this day. Someone suggests something and they instantly get hit with "what a puny plan"
It's a shame he wasn't in more movies.
RIP AND TEAR
Lord Kjell Humungus "Fear is my ally"! Westernkind is amazing all over the world!
What a sweetheart.
"its not as if you'v got a rig big enough to tow that fat tank of gas anyway"
This guy should be the next Bond villain
"You disobey me, you puppy."
Its. " you herpe "

Did he do the voice of humungus ? Does anyone know?
Lord Humongous is a true funny villian FAT TANK OF GASSSSS
"In Sweden you have to hide"
Noted
I wish he'd brought the goalie mask.
Good man 👍
The gasoline vil be ours!
great interview, but bleeping words is ridiculous in this day and age
Words aren't offensive to me and my ears. The censoring of words is.
... UA-cam-rules ?
Better bleep then having this gem taken down ?
An excellent interview, except that the "bleeps" blast your ears...
