China had been this way forever. Its the whole world who got caught offgaurd. Alas! all the nukes and warheads that the whole world had been spending in the name of protecting the nation look like a wastage of money. If you compare these Corona Virus numbers in India, they are so little compared to children dying of encephalitis but how has Indian state reacted to it?? its a Chinese produced virus , they know everything about the virus . they know how to control it also.
Initial spurt in cases in wuhan was just an eyewash to show they are also affected.

China is the economic superpower but at what cost?
All that economic gain has gone down the drain. Most of the people in the world are never going to trust anything Chinese.
Literally every single person's life is at stake because of the way China's markets operate.
I'd rather choose to be part of a slower and less efficient n more transparent govt .
Short term Economic gains are nothing compared to the long term troubles we are going to face in the future.
Because china is not democratic country they can do anything with their people's. But, in case democratic country people are opposing something eg. Strong -lockdown by using army, using servilance towards their people, they even locked in room (Chinese people).
2nd things they imported all equipment from all countries around world.eg. PPE, MASK, VENTILATOR, SWAB-TEST Kit, and other equipment (eg.Australia is best examples)
They knew more about covid19 than world on that time. They even hides many things. If they told earlier that could be beneficial for all countries in world.
Even their figure is in doughted by all countries except their allies.

Sir you continuously criticized centre for taking dictatorial decision on state subjects like liquor ban and not allowing them to open and states suffering losses and we should ease lockdown , after seeing today's scenario I think we need strict rules we Indians are not like Westerners and will barely follow social distancing if we get relaxation in lockdown

Great video, as usual, love the lack of bias. One point if I may add is that if you could add the sources you use in the description, it would further improve your credibility.
For example, the report you mention or the quotes by different people you mention, if you could link them in the description that would increase the trust people have in you.
Cut the clutter is one of the best Analysis in times of Biased views. I initially felt shekhar was leftist and used to ignore. But cut the clutter content changed my view, have more respect for him and listen to what he says and his perspective.
He is leftist for sure .....I watch it regularly and some other news analysis also just to come to my own conclusion based on contradicting sides....When I initially started watching it I felt he is not that biased but time and again he has shown his allegiance to left....And I have few examples I can quote...One recent being he didnt speak a single word in relation to palghar killings or the subsequent controversy that erupted between sonia and arnab, leave apart doing a CTC.....And I think someone claiming to be honest unbiased and true to the profession can atleast come out with a clarification why he chose not to speak about it...And there are many such examples also which u have pointed out on their videos in the past as well..
Same is my story. I know he can be biased at time or take silent approach on many things but still always watch CTC to have both kind of view and they way he explains and content keeps bringing me back to CTC

when tests become more accessible, test positivity rate will go down.
If about 6-7% of those tested are found to be positive with Coronavirus, this rate will not go down for a while until they have tested a large part of the population, which is a long way off. The only thing more testing does is to find those who are infected, isolate them so they don't go home and infect everyone around them.
As of today we have tested 0.1% of population

Quick question on the absolutes and the percentages - initially when we were testing, the sample was a concentrated pool of people who were very high risk and now that the testing has increased the pool is much larger and probably diluted....isn't it possible that this could skew the % difference/reduction?

There are a few things : 1) The decrease in test positivity rate may be simply because of higher number of testing. This does not reveal anything. 2) The recovery rate visual is quite misleading. You should have first shown a horizontal line coming from the end point of green line which intersects the saffron line and then draw the vertical line. Only then, it should have been explained the lag between the number of reported cases and recovered cases in an understandable manner.
