This is the official video of James Arnold Taylor's half hour version of his one man show "Talking to Myself" performed at Disney's Star Wars Weekends 2011, for the event Disney entitled the show "Obi-Wan & Beyond". All music and video clips are the property of each film and music company, James claims no ownership of those materials and are being used here under permissions granted him for the performance. All music was used under the ascap agreement held by Disney for the event. His talent is incredible! I can see why he gets a lot of work. I got to know his name from Clone Wars, but I didn't realize that I've been hearing his voice in so many other things as well. =)
The only thing that bothers me about this presentation is how scripted it is. It kinda makes his jokes fall flat because they sound too rehearsed. But whatever; he did way better in front of an audience than I would have done.

knight gaurd I know but still they're both great. I think the true series finale of the Clone Wars should have been the same as Clone Wars. The Separatists attacking Coruscant and Grievous has kidnapped the Chancellor. He flies back to the invisible hand and orders the droids to hold him in the general quarters. Just as he is about to order the retreat. A droid alerts him that republic reinforcements are exiting hyperspace and Grievous realises its Obi-Wan and Anakin. Cut to one of the Venator-Class Star Destroyers, where Anakin and Obi-Wan board their fighters and have a bit of snark to snark combat. The fighters take off and that's it.
John Watson Yeah but still considering the fact that the old Clone Wars is no longer canon, they need to create a new ending. That being said, i still like the original ending to TCW.

I remember showing my brother this video and he was in awe over how talented James Arnold Taylor as as he only knew him as Obi-Wan Kenobi on The Clone Wars
That he’s voiced a bunch of characters on Star Wars and I never noticed and that some time he would voice one or more characters in the same time
The amount of talent spewing from this video is phenomenal! If you watch TV on a daily basis, you probably can't go a day without hearing one of JAT's voices. Super!
I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it a thousand more. This guy is not just a voice actor, he is THE voice actor. He's funny, he's sophistocated (most of the time), and of course he's done the voices of hundreds if not thousands of characters that we all know and love, from Johnny Test to Ratchet to Obi Wan Kenobi.
Forever James Arnold Taylor will be THE man. Keep up to the good work!

Of all the impressions videos on UA-cam, this is by far the best display i have seen of vocal talent. You can even voice a pretty convincing woman. I congratulate you, and your first agent needs an award.
I freaked out when I saw that he was the voice of Tidus in Final Fantasy X, I've been a fan of both him and the game and have never noticed....wow...

Wow. We are inspired. I do character voiceover (Mickey Mouse, Yoda, Hiccup, Joker, Davey Jones, etc. - only small gigs) and our teen voiceover daughter does a bit of professional voice work, but this video has inspired me again to get "back into character a bit more" thanks and we also have faith one day either or both of us will voice in a major studio. That was awesome!!! I'm a big fan of all things star wars, and so is my 4 year old. He loves The clone wars. We were watching episode III and he says to me..."Daddy what's wrong with Obi-wan's voice? He sounds sick. Not like obi-wan from Clone wars" So to my kid, you are the real Obi-wan. Keep up the great work!

I've always been a fan of voice actors. They are the unsung heroes of all showbiz (incl. games there :P) and almost NEVER get the recognition they deserve. But you sir are my official new favourite. Such a diverse spread of voices and characters coupled with a fantastic live stage presense is a rare thing these days. JAT, I tip my hat to you, you're amazing.
