This is a very refreshing tour with a mature woman who has sensible ideas. She is a super advocate for the tiny house movement. I especially like her observation that seniors who own the big house can design their own tiny footprint and avoid the prospect of moving away from their community and network of support. Good job! It's another win win for the movement.
What a lovely space for creativity to run rampant. Just darling. Tina, I totally agree and resonate deeply that life without being creative isn't a life that would make me happy. I wish I had a tiny house so I don't have to live in a senior rehab place. They totally don't get it and just recently took my books, my painting stuff, my decoupage, adult coloring books, pen and pencils as well as my beading stuff I was just learning how to do. And even more importantly all my spices to make not only the food taste better, but to help heal my body naturally. Hopefully I can get the stuff back. Say a prayer cause life isn't as much fun as it could be/should be.Thanks for sharing. Ohhh and I forgot to mention the craft cart. I had 2 like yours that got taken from me at a different facility and 2 I got recently that fold. And those just got taken with my other stuff. They were great for holding my colored pen and pencil collection in neat zip binders, my coloring books and the other one for beading stuff. They might try to get me down but they have no idea what they have unleashed. A creative person will always come up with creative ways to restore what was taken.

I purchased 4 ( real wood ) of those panels the lady said were closet doors at onetime. I thought at 10 dollars they were a good deal. The have been waiting on a new purpose in my moms basment. Thank you! I can use two for little cabinets and two for a bathroom door. Or i may make a show cabinet. I love all the new ideas i collected from you. Lady, your a real teacher 🌹. You can certainly tell Dogstar belongs to an artist! It's wonderful! This has given me such inspiration! I live in an RV park in a 180 sq ft RV (actually a toy hauler) because it's the way I figured I could live tiny, legally, within the Dallas city limits. Zoning laws and regulations for tiny homes are definitely problems, and even if you can manage that aspect of tiny living, it is sometimes not affordable. I am 73 and work as a Theatrical costume designer with no plans of retiring. I need to work and love what I do. I'm slowly renovating my home while living in it. I have regular furniture, including a large old oak teacher's desk that is the main counter space and storage for my kitchen, and it doubles as my studio. I have artwork, including a gallery wall. My bathroom is only 3'x5', but it has a great vanity with plenty of storage, a very small tub with a shower, an RV toilet (which I eventually want to replace with something smaller) and a large medicine cabinet with a mirror. I have lived tiny for 5 years and cannot imagine living in a larger home ever again. I love this lifestyle so much. Thank you for this tour. It holds so much positive information. 💗

This tiny house is so amazing. I could see myself renting out my big house (it's old, too) and living on my land indefinitely in a tiny house just like this. This is so inspiring! I currently work in daycare, and my favourite time of day is circle time. I have been thinking that when I “retire” I will call myself the travelling circle time lady. I would like to travel in a tiny house, and will go around to any centre that needs help to troubleshoot their circle time. I will do circle time demonstrations and give tips for keeping children interested and engaged.
I love how she presents ideas for advocacy. Tiny houses would help so many generations with housing. I am planning my retirement and I’m getting so many good ideas. Love tiny homes even though I don’t live in one. I find myself seeing areas in my state that would be lovely for tiny home communities. Every state needs several of these communities. Housing, and even renting has become too expensive. My children need options!

This is so inspiring! I currently work in daycare, and my favourite time of day is circle time. I have been thinking that when I “retire” I will call myself the travelling circle time lady. I would like to travel in a tiny house, and will go around to any centre that needs help to troubleshoot their circle time. I will do circle time demonstrations and give tips for keeping children interested and engaged.
I love how she presents ideas for advocacy. Tiny houses would help so many generations with housing. I am planning my retirement and I’m getting so many good ideas. Love tiny homes even though I don’t live in one. I find myself seeing areas in my state that would be lovely for tiny home communities. Every state needs several of these communities. Housing, and even renting has become too expensive. My children need options!

I like that there's plenty of head room in the loft space so you don't sit up and hit your head.
This tiny has a lot of charm, there could be a tiny stove in the corner instead of the piece of furniture. And the nook in front the window could be a nice area to put a sewing machine. Very good presentation . Thanks.
