Played sons the other night and won on demons by having g/rider sit middle and voodo back objective against brotherhood. This was a great video so thanks gave me some ideas espically for the splash as I used punisher who one aimed shoot juggernaut for the ko!
Amazing guide considering I just bought Midnight Suns. This is a much better format for the vids too! The previous ones I was always struggling to read the tactic cards taken without scrubbing through the vids to them being mentioned lol. Possibly playing a very similar team this weekend against Guardians. Keep up the great work lads!
What about slipping in Mystique? Her tactics card is great, long move and rapid fire. During her activation 'siege of Darkness' to turn off defensive tech and cards against those attacks.
I rather like Ultron with the Sons. His resurrection power feels appropriate and they really like having access to a good through. There is also some real jank if combo'd with Ghost Rider. If you KO Ultron with Deal with the Devil and have the eight power you can still use Age of Ultron to get him back up as well.
I liked this format a bit better. I cannot wait till you do the new brotherhood one. I am very excited to do that affiliation for my first. Perhaps in the meantime how good is just a 10 brotherhood member roster? I bought Gambit/Rogue, Juggernaut, and Scarlet/Quicksilver, I am just waiting for the affiliation pack to get the meat and potatoes.
Sabretooth and Gambit are not great in Brotherhood, better options with splash characters who synergise with the leadership better (particularly Magneto)
Blade Ghost rider Wong Ultron Venom/Dr strange armor strange Utron can come back to life, so can Ghost rider by using Wong as the sacrifice I know it doesn't fit the parameters of the pack rules but I would run this midnight son's without question

I'm pretty happy to see my Midnight Webs combo affiliation list seems almost in line with your list. I am curious your thoughts on Asgard since I'm picking up the affiliation pack for hammers & Loki.
Great content as always. I thought about playing Malekith in the Midnight Sons. What are your thoughts on that? And are there any things you would change in the roster if you added him?
He is definitely viable (as he is pretty much anywhere). But we wanted to stay away from just adding Malekith to everything. Easily swap him out for any of the splash characters
Hey Rich, Jason from America here... Have a question for u, and Quinn as well (Sorry if I misspelled it).. So, I'm gonna ask u my question because in my dealings with chat boards, BBS' and forum's (etc,etc..) they're all real toxic.. Like borderline IRL violence toxic.. and it's a shame that gaming has gone that route.. ESPECIALLY if you're having a non-tournament game.. So, back to my question, and feel free to answer me the best u know how, given my inability to comprehend the modern English language.. So I finished up a game, and I have to say, that, well Godamit to Hell if MoonKnight isn't the most broke-ass 3 threat in the game.. I mean Hell.. he belongs to a bevy of Teams, he's cheap enough to splash..AND he ends up rolling(re-rolling, actually) more attack dice than he started out with (printed value).. and I mean his builder.. the Bo-Staff, which, according to EVERYONE in my LGS has told me, that if Moon Knight rolls, and let's say he gets two blanks, and two crits, after rolling the crits affect of adding new dice to the pool (exploding crits, and the new ones are blank), he can then call on his re-roll, allowing him to re-roll his original 2 blanks from the 4, and the two crits get re-rolled... AND the two ADDED CRITS from the affect of the crit... thereby netting Moon Knight 2 more dice than he started out with.. So, hopefully you understand what I just explained, cuz if not, I video myself doing what this wanker did... THE ENTIRE GAME.. and claimed I cheated him, because I reduced one to many damage one time, due to my confusion if the ruling, one, ONE TIME with Kingpin's Intense Physical Conditioning.. So, please, help a poor miserable, stoopid wretch like me understand this... Please. Thank you again.. Sincerely, Jason
The timings are: Roll dice > explode crits > modify dice (rerolls, cover, pierce etc) Once you’ve exploded crits, no further crits are exploded, even if you roll more in from crits, or from rerolls.

@@RichMidGaming because the player was taking advantage of wording between MK's Bo-Staff and Miles' leadership, to net himself a larger pool to attempt to get more hits (attack dice) than he started with. I just felt the whole thing was outside the spirit of gaming. Re-rolling the crit, ok.. Re-rolling the extra die the crit gave you (not part of the starting dice pool) in my opinion, breaks the spirit of the game. This game is very dice stingy... I've never seen such a thing, for free no less.. on a builder.. no drawbacks..
Oh, and I forgot to mention... After re-rolling the new amount of dice, he was "exploding" all crits again, including the net gained dice (the wee children of the first set of thrown criticals) Because normally if you roll a crit, and you add a die, roll and get a crit off the "first" crit, the chain of "exploding crits" ends there... Except, like I said, he found a loophole between Miles and MK.. And that to me is outside the spirit of gaming, cuz the rules say you cannot explode the crit if it came from an exploded crit.. It sounds like a lot to absorb, I could show u with dice on a video.. but I am super pasty white.. even for British standards.. I make Uncle Fester from the Addams family look tan.. Ok, Thanks for replying, but at least I was to reply again to clear up anything.. Maybe do a video on how to properly roll attack pools, deal with crits, deal with re-rolls and what is legal off of the re-roll.. for attack and defense dice pools. Thanks again.. Jason
yeeeeees been waiting for ages on this one. Thanks guys :D
Mystique is a decent splash for Midnight Sons, playing Siege on her turn shuts off a lot of enemy defence tech
She cant use Siege. She isnt a Midnight Sons character
@@anthonygarcia6229 She doesn't need to, you just use it on her activation with the rest of the Sons.
100% agree Kaylee, definitely viable and one for consideration

Looking forward to a Criminal Syndicate Guide. I like starting with Kingpin, Blackcat, Bullseye and Deadpool.
I think this was a great way to approach this.
Cheers. Glad you enjoyed it!

100% viable and could lead for a huge siege of darkness turn against the right affiliation
Awesome 🥺, this is by far my favorite and most played affiliation.
Glad you enjoyed!
I wish I could play midnight sons, but Blade/Moon Knight haven't been available in the whole time I've collected this game.
This video is great. I was given the core set and Moon Knight/Blade for Christmas, so this and defenders are high on my list
Glad it was useful!

Don't mind the loss of the score, as it was eh. but the visuals where much better and easier to see on the old ones. but overall love it!

@@patrickwalters6819 yeah hood is one that can slot in almost anywhere, hood is constant plat for me,
Great Video. The new Hulk is mandatory, isnt he?
Now that Prime is out, do we think it has a place in this roster to help this team with re-rolls and some beef?
Thoughts on Skurge in Sons? Extra bodyguard for Blade, more Bleed, more mobility
Not a fan if I’m being honest, but as always with this game, most things are viable - it’s just down to personal choice
Midnight sons faction? Did you mean the Immortal Hulk faction?
My midnight sons list is
Blade. Siege of darkness
Ghost Rider
Dr strange seven Suns of cinnibus
Dr voodoo. Seance
Moonknight
Iron fist. Hero's for hire
Malekith. Midnight phantasmagoria
Juggernaut. Do you know who I am

Kraven. Brace and follow me
Last card is tied between smash or no matter the cost I'm also testing kraven I might swap for hood or mystique
Crisis cards
Hammers. Demons
Alien ship. Dark portals
Montesi. Madman
Wanted to try out MS this is really useful. Just curious why Strange = Brace, No Strange = no Brace. Is it the 3 physical defence?
Pretty much yeah. GR has other deterrents to not attach him, so it isn’t needed as much
