...ok finished rewound over several and my pulse just went through the roof what a brilliant selection and video. 1st I love the colours from the Taupe one onwards...I'm not a big fan of pastels and yellows...falling back in love with glitters just can't be arsed with the taking off of them...but this was an absolute treat and perfect way to start a Sunday morning. My feet where twitching n literally stamping on mattress as colours kept coming my boyfriend was looking at me like I was a nutter. I was thrilled you did them all as was lovely but mad with you that you did them all cos then they were all done and I didn't want it to end 🤣. Sooooo now I have some questions and requests if you dont mind...Q: Would you say after seeing them personally that any are dupes of the old packaging and if so which ones? R: The Corals.. Reds..Oranges..Blues were beautiful but some looked similar so can you do a verbal comparison video of them and talk us through going over the numbers/names as some you could see and some not? R: Can an you also do a video on your favourite 5 colours of the whole bunch? I know you're very busy with work n life so no worries if you can't but maybe they are ideas for next videos 🤷♀️. Thanks again for the video.
Haha this is such an awesome comment, thank you for taking the time to write this all up :D I really want to do more with these polishes and def. will, but I feel like there are some similar ones which they improved the formulas from and the brush is a little different. Aswell is the cap of the bottle, it is more round and a little smaller, which makes it hold a little more difficult while working with them. As if they can slip through your fingers at any given moment ^^" I also felt like while swatching and looking at my footage, that some of the muted pink colours looked similar, but in real life they really don't. I might swatch these on a nailwheel next to eachother to compare :) Picking just 5 colours as my favourites will be a hard task, but I will try to record it soon :3 Making a comparison video will be a little difficult because I don't own all colours that have been replaced by a similar but better version, but I will see which ones I have and decide if it's something worth recording. (I won't if I only have 3 colours or so haha, but if I have more I will try to record that soon aswell)
@@femketjeNL ahhh bless you...I'm still buzzing...been desperately looking on only shop site that sells im England (Wilko) and they are just showing old bottles and only a bit of stock so no idea when we will get them as in the shops looks like they are awaiting too. That's a shame about the brush handle the old one was fine as you had the chunky part in the right place...the brush hmmm will have to see...loved the old one i found it perfect as i like a wide brush. Oh well we will see.

You can’t imagine how many times I’ve referenced this video when looking at essence polishes. It’s so helpful to have all the shades shown under the same light for comparison 💜

Maybe a bit off the topic but I feel it’s really harsh to do 50 rounds of removing and re-applying on the same nail...hope the cute little nail was alright after that. Anyway, thank you soooo much for the effort and patience put into 50 different swatches. I’m a big fan of essence nail polish and they always look great and very easy to apply.

These are regular nailpolishes, curing in UV or LED isn't needed. They are only called gel nailpolish because of the shiny finish they have and because they last at least a week :)

Aah drooling over the selection of colours and the amazing packaging! Wish we had all the colours in Australia! I could only find about 10 :( What a great value brand. I stumbled across them by accident and got a couple just for cheap base colours for nail art but was so surprised how good they were. Super cute bottle , great formula and love the brushes too.
They're so good! We have updates on the colours twice a year, adding about 5 to 10 new colours every 6 months :) But that also means that other colours are getting discontinued too >_

Had never heard of nail stamping til recently too and just tried it for the first time last week. Again, it's like a whole new world for me. Nice video! I have a question about essence gel polish. I really love the gel nail polish 103 midnight sky but I've been trying to find it online and now it's not available. Is essence trying to replace it with these new Shine last & go? PD. Sorry for my English.
The entire the gel line from essence has been replaced in february 2019 by the shine last and go collection. If there's not a similar colour in this kit I'm showing in the video, it's not available anymore :( But good thing is, essence does update their collection twice a year so it might be added later (or at least one that looks like it :D)

You can always contact essence on IG to ask where to get them where you live! I got this full kit from my PR company, but the colours are sold separately in drugstores.
i bought almost the full range of essence nail polishes that is available in the UK (only in Wilkinson). They are good quality and very affordable. i really like your videos btw :)
Hello does it require lamp? Or if not can i put a base coat which require lamp then apply this one on top? Because i had used lamp fr this and it comes out like rubber on same day

Thanks so much for swatching all of these. It seems the colours have't changed much and I'm really disappointed in the quality of these polishes. I have so many Essence polishes and most of them are opaque with one coat of polish so it's sad to see that most of their new polishes require two coats. I'm guessing that there will also be a price increase. I wouldn't have minded much if they increased the price on their old formula, but these new ones don't seem worth it.

Nice video! I have a question about essence gel polish. I really love the gel nail polish 103 midnight sky but I've been trying to find it online and now it's not available. Is essence trying to replace it with these new Shine last & go?

The entire the gel line from essence has been replaced in february 2019 by the shine last and go collection. If there's not a similar colour in this kit I'm showing in the video, it's not available anymore :(
But good thing is, essence does update their collection twice a year so it might be added later (or at least one that looks like it :D)
I'm so jealous! I wish Australia can get this package of nail polishes!
You might be able to get the bottles seperately though :)
This box was just for PR purposes and not sold like this in stores if I'm correct ^^

You can always contact essence on IG to ask where to get them where you live! I got this full kit from my PR company, but the colours are sold separately in drugstores.

Yes these are my natural nails, it takes a couple of weeks.

Hello does it require lamp? Or if not can i put a base coat which require lamp then apply this one on top? Because i had used lamp fr this and it comes out like rubber on same day
These are regular nailpolishes, they air dry!

Thanks so much for swatching all of these. It seems the colours have't changed much and I'm really disappointed in the quality of these polishes. I have so many Essence polishes and most of them are opaque with one coat of polish so it's sad to see that most of their new polishes require two coats. I'm guessing that there will also be a price increase. I wouldn't have minded much if they increased the price on their old formula, but these new ones don't seem worth it.
Here in the Netherlands they're the same price as the previous collection :)
