i'm sure this video has been a very valuable resource for tons of people who want to know more about these Essence polishes. I have loved polish for more than a decade, and the thought of swatching 50 polishes is frankly exhausting. You are doing hard work in swatching, recording and editing for everyone to access. You are more than deserving of any PR products because of all the effort you've put into helping the nal polish community over the years.
Those are a LOT of colours, this video must've taken ages 😯 I usually don't like dark blue, but the "sea you soon" is soo pretty! I wish they hard more "cool/colder" shades though, those are generally hard to find

I see some similar colors from the line Last shine and go, but some colors are really new and special. Though I like catrice formula and brush more. Essence polishes are too runny and the brush is less precise, I need to work harder with them.

This is a great video! I was looking at #5 but wasn't sure what "semi transparent" would actually look like. This is so helpful. We only get about a quarter of these shades in my area, so the selection is limited, but I love these polishes. I still have a few in the old bottles, but I think they're starting to go bad...

I just got the Go Bananas and Swirl Pool. These colours are so beautiful. I couldn't even choose between Go Bananas and Pink Ink. The Pink Ink looks nice too 😭
So many beautiful shades! Save water, drink lime looked something that I don't have anything even near similar and Grape the Coffee is a must have, because, well, there's no such thing as too many lilac/purple polishes! And Happily ever after pushed me straight back to the early 1990's when I was young and pretty, so I think have to get that too. 😁 Thanks so much for all the swatches and this video! I'll propably watch it many times again, just to find something to add on my wish list!

Thank you! Some colours are amazing, a lot of one coaters so that's great! I also found a few to look very promising but were really disappointing in opaqueness. I don't feel like they're better or worse than the shine last and go ones 😊

Some really lovely colours. I bought Lavender Vibes Only, Violet Voltage, Tangerine Ahead and Swirl Pool. I ended up comparing Lavender Vibes Only with Creating Memories from the Shine, Last & Go. They are exactly the same colour. XD Though at 2.25 I don't care that much but just enough to be a bit meh about it. Also I guess it's great for people who didn't get the chance to buy Creating Memories and it is a beautiful colour.

I have a few favorites (Pink Happy Thoughts, Violet Voltage, Orchid Jungle, Tangerine Ahead, Bingo Flamingo, Grape a Coffee) and I also like all the glitter toppers (Damn Glam, Pink Ventures, Bang Bloom Bing, Dazzling Shell). It seems the greatest disappointment in the collection was I am Pine - the shade was super sheer and didn't match the color of the bottle. What are your likes and dislikes from the collection? 🙂
Ahh thank you so much for this video! It's been on my watch later list since you released it. I've been looking at Orchid Jungle at the store and you def sold me on it, haha. Maybe Bingo Flamingo too, and Swirl Pool for sure when I find it at the store here! That one stood out. I feel like in general I prefer the previous collection, many of these shades look oddly muted and I usually prefer cleaner, more saturated shades unless it's darker colours. Another thing... So far I've only got Lucky to Have Blue and the formula on that one reminds of the old, thicker, hard-to-work-with Essence formula :( I hope it's just that one shade. It also seems like this collection has a ton of these peachy pinks/nudes, which is fine but it just seems like a lot. Some of the browns look really nice though, especially Crazy Cocoa which will be perfect for autumn :) P.S. Nude to Know looks amazing on you!

Oh for this video I really can't remember, it always changes a lot per video depending on lighting and whether or not I shoot in s-log of not and colour correct later 🤭
It depends on how many coats you apply and ofcourse keep in mind that I record my videos with 3 bright led lights to show the truest colour reference for the single coat I applied 😊
I got I Lilac YOU as my first Essence nail polish and I hated how long it took for it to dry, how much layer it needs for a pretty lilac colour and how easy it chipped off 😅 Since then I still haven't bought any Essence nail polish and I'm not planning too either
I think you were supposed to put the shade I am pine on a black polish just because its a very sheer shade. Although you can see some color, you could see the shade better on the black brush
I think so, but keep in mind it is a bit sheer :) For me personally, there are no rules to nail art. So if you feel like giving it a try and wear it, definitely go for it :D

I bought some of them but I'm not very happy, I have feeling that every new bottle have a worse formula than before! I don't like their wide brushes too, and they are not good on their edges!
Oh I really wasn't unhappy with the brushes or formula tbh 😯 but some colours I expected more opaqueness of, like the dark green. That one was such a bummer 😣
Thanks for the swatches. Personally, I don't like Essence polishes - they don't stay for more than 2-4 days. Using the same technique+base+top I use with the Essence, other polishes last me 10-14 days....
Deze nagellak is gewone aan de lucht drogende lak, geen echte gel. Ze noemen het alleen een gel nail polish maar hoeft niet in een lamp uitgehard te worden :) Ook blijven deze maar ongeveer een klein weekje zitten, veel korter dan een echte gelpolish natuurlijk ^^
Hi there, these polishes doesn’t seem to dry on my nails. I just don’t understand. They just stay ‘tacky’ and never completely dry. So I threw them away. Anyone same experience?
Hey! I just posted complaining about the formula too. So far I only have Lucky to Have Blue which reminds me of the old, poor Essence formula. Hard to work with and indeed didn't dry properly without a quick dry top coat. Which colours have you tested?
Oh I really didn't have any drying time issues with them at all :o It can have something to do with the temperature or humidity in the room. If one of both of those are high, polishes take way longer to dry and harden out.

The ultra sheer green was a big disappointment 😅 really love a lot of the creamy colours 😊

A lot of them look kinda grainy? Is it the new formula or was it due to texture in your gel coat? :D
There's never texture in the gel topcoat I use

It depends on how many coats you apply and ofcourse keep in mind that I record my videos with 3 bright led lights to show the truest colour reference for the single coat I applied 😊
I got I Lilac YOU as my first Essence nail polish and I hated how long it took for it to dry, how much layer it needs for a pretty lilac colour and how easy it chipped off 😅 Since then I still haven't bought any Essence nail polish and I'm not planning too either

Since they are considered gel nail polish... are they hard to remove? In comparison to normal nail polishes?
These aren't gelpolish but regular nailpolish that you can simply remove with nailpolish remover 😉

I think you were supposed to put the shade I am pine on a black polish just because its a very sheer shade. Although you can see some color, you could see the shade better on the black brush
It's not marketed as a topper to apply on another polish, that's why I tried it on its own 😉

I think so, but keep in mind it is a bit sheer :) For me personally, there are no rules to nail art. So if you feel like giving it a try and wear it, definitely go for it :D

I bought some of them but I'm not very happy, I have feeling that every new bottle have a worse formula than before! I don't like their wide brushes too, and they are not good on their edges!
Oh I really wasn't unhappy with the brushes or formula tbh 😯 but some colours I expected more opaqueness of, like the dark green. That one was such a bummer 😣
Thanks for the swatches. Personally, I don't like Essence polishes - they don't stay for more than 2-4 days.
Using the same technique+base+top I use with the Essence, other polishes last me 10-14 days....
Oh I've never had them last any shorter than 7 days 😯

Deze nagellak is gewone aan de lucht drogende lak, geen echte gel. Ze noemen het alleen een gel nail polish maar hoeft niet in een lamp uitgehard te worden :) Ook blijven deze maar ongeveer een klein weekje zitten, veel korter dan een echte gelpolish natuurlijk ^^

Hi there, these polishes doesn’t seem to dry on my nails. I just don’t understand. They just stay ‘tacky’ and never completely dry. So I threw them away. Anyone same experience?
Hey! I just posted complaining about the formula too. So far I only have Lucky to Have Blue which reminds me of the old, poor Essence formula. Hard to work with and indeed didn't dry properly without a quick dry top coat. Which colours have you tested?
Oh I really didn't have any drying time issues with them at all :o It can have something to do with the temperature or humidity in the room. If one of both of those are high, polishes take way longer to dry and harden out.

They do have a regular nailpolish smell but not too bad 🙂
