God knows what l went through in that marriage just because of what people thought or would say. As far as the murder example, in law, a spouse is not legally compelled to testify against their partner in a case where they are not the complainant (eg a divorce). If Zach committed murder, and Murugi knew and didn't report, she cannot be arrested as an accessory to the crime due to spousal privilege. In law, man and wife are one hence the presumption that a person would not knowingly give incriminating evidence against themselves. Ni kama privilege ya client na lawyer wake. But if she told Lydia, she (Lydia) would be compelled to testify and perjury as stated is a crime. 😂

I live in outside the country,and everytime she calls she never even asks how me or my son are doing,all she does is tell me to talk to my sisters who are already in kenya,last week i and my son were in bed coz of covid ,td her about it and she told me it cant be that serious mind you my son is only 4 yrs old this is the some virus which has killed millions of people but its not that serious when it comes to me and my son…Guess what ?today she called me at 9 am to tell me that i should talk to my sister to about her child,who i already pay school fees for ,that she has a cold ,😢when it comes to me and my son its not that serious but my sisters child with a cold is very seriou😢make it make sense,This is just what made me open my eyes and realize i am nothing but a bank to her,so i am done ……..

To answer Lydia, the issue is a very complex one, and has had serious repercussions, including fallout with family (we've been together forever, so there's that and many more layers to our relationship) and I've chosen to protect my mental health...I don't want to give TMI on TMI - LOL

Gai, the way this podcast is going ,i think it will reach a time where both Murugi and Lydia will be faced out. I am starting to realise how Murugi struggle to be politically correct, like its ok to just say its only Women who experience periods, because that is a fact ! But now you now need to include the non Binary thing and i am just like come on! They dnt want to be identified as either a he or a she , so why do you need to include them in a topic related to Women? Please be authentic, dnt fall into politically correctness.
It's not only women who have periods and that's why Murugi correctly identified them as vagina owners. Not everyone with a vagina identifies as a woman. There are women with penises. There are men with vaginas. She is being respectful and inclusive of all genders. That's a beautiful thing.
