I totally agree. I’ve heard other parents in this same situation say the only reason they stayed and listened is because their daughter didn’t have a chance while being killed to walk away. They feel responsible in a way to be there now for her.

That poor beautiful woman. She had to endure horrible and unjust discrimination. For the most part very wealthy people are educated and yet these were amongst the most ignorant due to their racism of this beautiful and quality woman. Not only do I hold them accountable but of course mostly her husband who should have defended her. He had no business belonging to a club that would basically deny his wife's existence and worthiness, in their eyes, to belong to their disgusting and snobby club.
I absolutely do not wish them well.
I do pray for her wonderful family who loved her dearly and have lost a beautiful soul.

This report focused on the legal aspect but other reports included additional aspects and details. He was very controlling of her. In a town like Palm Beach where women live pampered, she had to beg for money to even get a hair cut. He controlled every aspect of her daily schedule. She lived like a caged animal under his drunken narcissist thumb. In their original romance, he had been charming and attentive and persistent. Today we would call this, love bombing.

For murders, killing plotters, sex offenders, domestic violence offenders etc stricter sentences are appropriate. People like that come out and take or ruin more lives. There’s nothing wrong with no parole. If they want to appeal or start another investigation if they are innocent, sure. There are too many cases when loved ones are lost or traumatized for life because of repeat offenders.

My deepest condolences to the family of Lita Sullivan. No family should have to endure tragedy of this magnitude. What cases like these have taught me over the years is to walk away with what I can carry in my car and not look back. When I went through a divorce from my first husband, I told the judge I wanted nothing. I would rather have my life than a man’s money. I’m alive to make it on my own. I don’t blame any woman for doing it her way, but these cases taught me that some men will do anything to keep their money.

Agree 4 million is not rich by the standards of the people he wanted to mix with.A lot of people who live ordinary lives have couple of million and dont consider themselves wealthy, no way wealthy, just comfortable to retire on.

    • @junemarshall-kingsley566
      @junemarshall-kingsley566 Рік тому

Not only didn't he have countless millions of old money, but he also didn't understand that a "nobody" can't just show up and be accepted by a very entrenched crowd. They wouldn't accept his wife (due to race) because they wouldn't accept him either. And he continued to make the same mistake by changing wives, as if marrying an unknown Asian woman would get him "in." It's who you know that counts in Palm Beach and to some extent, it is still that way.

    For whom the bell tolls
Was taken from a poem by Jonne Donne.
"Ask not for whom the bell tolls"
    "It tolls for thee"
And refers to tolling the bell when a parishioner had died.
    Fun Fact
Shakespeare and Donne were almost contemporaries.
In Shakespeare's Days all the Female parts were played by teenage boys.
In this Woke Age ,the Male parts are played by Women with false beards.
    Revenge of The Gender Benders.
But don't mention it or you'll get thrown out of University.
    Fun Fact .
The Monarch in Shakespeare's Day was Elisabeth the First.
    She enjoyed Shakespeare immensely.
She was also a Renaissance Queen who was fluent in Greek, French and Latin.
    And She wrote Sonnets.
Just as Shakespeare and Petrarch did.
    Petrarch was Shakespeare's hero.
