I am so glad that you have them in your life-mine was more human than any a dog I ever had and I loved watching him make up his own games to play and they occupied most of his time-he loved trying to see how many tennis balls he could fit in his mouth at one time -I think it was 5 but he never stopped trying to fit one more into his long “beak” as I called his nose and mouth! Every game he invented to occupy himself (and me as well) was so much fun to watch since he always had to have a tennis ball in his mouth (except to eat) He was so much fun when he made up games for us and himself of course I never laughed so much and he knew he was entertaining me while he was making up his games and he loved to entertain me-but he would intensely try to figure things out you could almost see wheels in his head turning. I’m blessed that he chose me as the one he protected and watched over me when we were out for long walks.He loved everyone as long as he knew I was okay. I have a sword specially made-it is a katana so I named him katana but we called him Kat for short. He passed away in 2016&I still think of him almost every day-😅I know I’ll never find another one like him but he still makes me laugh when I think of him and he is the best person/dog that I’ve ever known and I could tell you so many more stories about his life that would make you laugh hysterically but there’s not enough room to tell you more but I will tell you one more short story when Kat and I were sitting on my front porch and the people across the street I didn’t know well came up to me and asked me if Kat could come over to their house because it was their 10 year wedding anniversary I didn’t even get invited (but I told them I had to be there to keep an eye on him) I was a bit shocked when they invited him over but they said they loved shepherds but I had a hard time getting him to come across the street since he decided he wanted to stay at the party (he fell in love with their female dog) she was a mixed breed but he always wanted to go to her house after that! I guess there was a reason why he was invited after all!❤ 😅

Clearly my family doesn't deserve these sweet babies..all they did was leash it to a tree, give them food and water and a dog house...and thats it :(
