HP ProDesk 600 G1 CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD Upgrade 2023

In this quick educational video guide I will upgrade an old HP ProDesk 600 G1 small form factor or SFF for short into a working up to date Desktop PC.
These are the parts I will replace and upgrade:
Graphics card will be the Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 DDR5 from Asus.
I will replace the Intel i3 4130 with a Intel i5 4570 processor.
I will add 4 same frequency DDR3 Sticks so it can have a quad channel RAM.
It was missing a Disk drive so I added a cheap SSD 240GB in capacity.
At the end I install a fresh new copy of the Windows operating system and installed the necessary drivers for the PC and software for browsing the internet, office work and bit of entry level gaming.

I have this model and have added a PCIe 2.5 GBe Network Card and PCIe NVME Adapter. Both work very well. My Hard Drive with the OS is a Samsung SSD 500 Gig for fast loading.

Yes work nicely. I put it into the 16x PCIe slot as I don’t have a Graphics Card.

i have the same pc, and i just installed a nvidia GTX 1650 sff, it was a lil bit to tall for the case so i have to cut out some metal but it worked, now im on the way the upgrade my ram, i have 2 8gb 1600 mhz incomming, next will be my SSD, this vid helped a lot, it also shows me how to clean my pc in the future.. can you please let me know what is the model or kind of ssd did you use? I already plan to buy a Kingston KC600 .

Now i want to know you is there a need to upgrade the power supply also.
Because now graphic card are also power consuming

This is a low end graphics card most of the time they dont need extra power like in this case.

I ordered one on aliexpress just look at the output/input order for ports from the back of the graphics card before your purchase. they are very cheap.

32gb for ram and for graphics card i honestly dont know everything that can fit inside i guess and it has to be low profile and use max 70w from the power supply.

@@erneste.mccloud4506 si quieres de lo mejor una rt 2000 low profile. Si quieres algo bueno una rx6400. Si quieres lo intermedio, y el mejor precio, una rx550, y si es la versión de 4gb mucho mejor
