If you could pick us to do deep dive into just one of the topics mentioned in the video, which would it be? Of course, we would love to make all these videos right away, but it takes us a ton of time for each video, so tell us your favorite. Either that or rank the topics we should pursue. Honestly, this will help us to choose which topic to do next.

This is what UA-cam is all about. A group of people spending hundreds of hours researching something complex, and then dumbing it down with cool animations for the world to see. You guys have my full support!
This is how i would define it ❤
that is not what youtube is all about. This is a full blown very costly production, just like TV. youtube *WAS* all about publishing personal videos.
dude, its called UA-cam, not AGroupOfPeopleSpendingHundredsOfHoursResearchingSomethingComplexAndThenDumbingItDownWithCoolAnimationsForTheWorldToSeeTube
@jordixboy you sound pretty salty about this topic, why click on the video then? I'm sure there's a whole algorithm dedicated to vlogging or whatever you like. If you want to talk history, UA-cam was originally supposed to be a dating website
Exactly 😂 well said straight face
Feel like a single thank isn't enough. The animation, the information, we need more of this!
Well Done
Agreed ❤

What's why you say "Thanks"
I work in the semiconductor industry myself, and I can't yet fathom how incredible a task you have achieved. Absolutely mind-boggling work folks.
To explain the whole complex system in such an easy way with pitch-perfect animations, simply incredible work guys.
How da hell can a free video be so detailed? I know there are patreon and sponsors, but it's incredible! It can't even fit in my mind how much work and detail you gave in this channel! Excellent job!!!❤👌
As a 3d artist, the amount of work that went into this is mindblowing. You guys are educating generations of people with highest quality. I wish my classrooms were this good as a kid.
It really is mindblowing what they have done in this video 🤯
How did you do that😮
This is one of the most underrated youtube channels I know of. Awesome graphics, sounds and explanation!
Most underrated channel for sure. This kind of effort has to be appreciated more. I am studying 3d modeling myself and i can imagine how much effort they give for just a single video.
@@girayyazici7439 yes
Statistically, with more than 1MM subs, it is already at top 1% of UA-cam. But I agree with you that it should be even higher.
Exactly what i wanted to comment haha, I cannot believe it has so little recognizement. It deserves so much more.
Thanks!! We appreciate it!
Really one of the coolest things I've ever seen. It's almost magic that all of this can be made as tiny as it is and that it all works together so accurately and quickly. Computers are one of those items that only a few tenths of a percent of our population will ever know how they truly work, down to the atomic scale.
Recently discovered your channel. The amount of knowledge your videos provide is insane, like an entire university course. Thank you!
Insane effort - huge props to your 3d modeling and animation people!
This is a fantastic level of detail. Hats off to the animators.
1:43 …this video is top notch …seamless & immaculate in presentation. I had an audible gasp when I saw that transition
Grateful to be alive during a time where information like this is so accessible and easy to digest
After 20 Years of working with computers, I can say this video is 1,000,000% awesome.
Hey
So i need to ask some expert guy
First I wanted to learn in college computer science or maybe computer engineering
But i found 2 topics
one is software engineering
and the second is electrical and electronics engineering
(People said it’s more focused in electronics)
So i am very confused which to choose
I do not know if in computer engieneering you see that kind of nanotecnology
@@obaydasarahneh236 L, didn't answer your question
@@obaydasarahneh236 Computer Science primarily focuses and has a concentration on software and logic combined with analytical and theoretical mathematics to build (and sometimes use those mathematical concepts in data science) logic. On the contrary, many people imply that CE is the bridging point between software and hardware, connecting the two concepts together and really producing something out of it. You'll have a more concentration with lower-level languages i.e., assembly, c++, c, c# that are compiled (translated) on build time straight into binary or machine code that the computer can then interpret and execute. Also, in CE you'll have higher concentrations on things like physics, electricity, and manufacturing the hardware.
I would recommend you take a look at your prospective schools' curriculums for CE and CS and really decide from there what you want to do. In short, Computer Science is viewed as a more theoretical philosophy while CE is viewed as a more practical philosophy. Both are sciences, but, again, it really just depends on what you're looking for, abstraction or practicality.
Oh, also, (because I'm very intrigued by CS) some of those theoretical math classes might include: calc 1, calc 2, calc 3, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and others.
Hopefully this will help you with your decision, good luck.
This is insane. I don't understand how humans figured out how to make this stuff. And the amount of work and effort put into this video is amazing. Super high quality and really interesting.
I have an associate who is a physics boffin, he works in development and is on another level.
Multiply him by 1000s - all dedicated in their own field of expertise.
Then factor in decades of R & D.
It takes vast teams and shared knowledge.
But yeah - it is mind blowing.
This is insane is true, while i am typing i am now thinking what all is working to get this comment over as a reply.
It's the need for compact computation that we have arrived here. It's all switches..
Well I think once you've figured out how transistors work, you can scale it up and use it to your maximum creativity. And I think that's so amazing about it. All of this is pure problem solving.
It was completed by millions of dedicated and passionate people very incrementally over many years. The result we see today seems overwhelmingly complex but how we got there was by taking tiny baby steps of improvement over the course of several decades.
For real now, this is one of the best videos ever made.
Covering a complex topic in such detail and presenting it with these amazing high quality animations and easily understandable explanations for normal people to learn about how the very device works they're watching that video on, that is just unbelievable. And doing all of this even *for free* so everyone with internet can watch this makes it a tremendous contribution to the education of the whole world. Because of you, young people will be introduced to the interior of computers the way older generations wish they were.
To me, that makes it one of the best and most important videos ever. Heck, your whole channel is a pure gold mine, I can't thank you enough for your hard work. You are heroes!
As a visual/spatial learner this is the most effective ways to catch up everything. I totally appreciate this kind of video❤❤❤
im a 3D animator myself, and the amount of work put into these videos blows my mind. you are amazing. thanks for making the world a smarter place!
I know nothing about this channel, but the sheer amount of work that went into this video earned me a very quick subscribe (with an eager anticipation for future content). I’m amazed at the sheer amount of skill it would require to model all of this.
I'm wondering how this amount of work is even economically viable
@@Wanderlauch same!
and he rendered this in 60 fps. lol. and i wonder how much time needed to render 1 frame?
WTHOMGNW
I cannot even imagine how much skill, time, and effort videos like this require. Absolutely incredible!
And absolute knowledge of it all!
The narrator indicated this whole project took over 500 hours
So far this is the best videos I have seen. The explanation is crystal and very detailed you cannot miss a thing. Thank you, Branch Education for taking so much time to come up with these animations they are very helpful. I look forward to more of your video's.
I just want to say I absolutely love this channel. I’m so glad I found it. I can’t think of another channel that’s this informative with such a high production value.
hands down the most detail oriented channel on this planet......hats off guys

Wonderful animation, quality educational content, clear and straight to the point. I think these videos definitely succeed in spreading engineering enthusiasm and appreciation for the complexity in technology we take for granted.
It's mind blowing how they were able to make such a detailed and realistic animation.
Please, let me add. I'm a 19yrs old, and I love Tech so much. I want to study computer science, but my parents can't afford sending me to college. I am really in need of a remote job. I can work as a virtual assistant, graphics designer, etc.
I would appreciate being referred to anyone who may need such services too. Thanks
@@markfriday1229 Good luck Mark. What is your passion? If it's 3D/Multimedia design, note that Computer Science isn't really the path to take. Computer Science can help you down the path of software development, ICT, AI, and to a lesser extent, hardware design and project management.
In any case, I hope you can find a path to success and wish you all the very best.
Whow❤
The animations are outstanding! What a work of love for the craft that is. Almost got tears in my eyes...
Really fantastic break down and commentary! Hats off to art and animation taking the time on specifics and open slices of hardware. 👍
500 hours to make such an amazing video ! That's a 2 months job for 8 hours/day for a single person !! How many people work for such a complicated project if I may ask ?
Your dedication and commitment to help us all visualize and dive deep into these amazing technologies shines through your content - not so many videos uploaded (if each one is SO HARD to make !), but when done I feel so satisfied -eagerly waiting for the next one. Praise to all your team !
3 people but luckily we'll use the 3D model assets for many other videos.

@@BranchEducation Do you use blender for animations? It looks super time consuming project.
Another amazing video from Branch Education. Soo much info cramped into just 17 mins. I can't even comprehend what level of research and work hours it takes to make these videos. Simply amazing!
This was one of the most intriguing, informative, and captivating UA-cam videos I've actually EVER seen before. The 3-D rendering blew my mind! Thank you for making this video - I as well as thousands to come, will benefit greatly by better understanding how a computer's hardware works - All because of your awesome production.
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
One of the great video I have seen so far on you tube among every topic! Pls continue to teach the world! Thank you for your efforts!
I can’t believe im watching this for free, this level of detail and information is absolutely incredible, thank you 🙏🏽

This was an incredibly informative video. Thank you for the immense effort your team has put into it.
the first best video i am seeing on youtube this is worthy of anyones time on earth, wow congrats to you for showing a path for content that consumers need but is scarce, all the way from kenya👍✌💯
This video is absolutely amazing! It shows how all the PC components work together including a brief explanation of each one. I am definitely showing it to my students!
Thousandsand thousands of pictures and breaking apart into pieces and 500 hours of animating work! I’m infinitely humbled by your dedication…! Millions and billion thanks, branch work and all who are part of this beautiful endeavour!
No words to describe the work behind this 🙌
I just wanna say thank you to everyone who works on this channel for the hard work you do to educate people. I just recently built a pc with my brother and had a basic understanding of the different hardware, but this put into perspective how everything works on a microscopic level. It’s so cool to watch your videos and gain a deeper understanding of the topics.
I really appreciate the amount of work put into this video. Subscribed instantly!
Being a 3D Artist myself, I can tell the massive amount of work that went into this video, and in all your other videos. I really appreciate all your efforts.
The quality of the 3D dissections is unbelievable. This must take so much time to make! Well done
The quality of the animations in this video are absolutely astonishing truly inspiring and amazing work done by the team
Thank you. I have been looking for this type and quality of content for several years
This type of content is gold. There isn't much of it on youtube, at least not in this kind of detail, so when you find something like this, it's pure dopamine. Great videos and keep it up
This really puts in perspective of how far we've come in the last century. It's amazing.
This is by far one of the most awesome channels on UA-cam! Thank you very much!
We need more of this. Thank you for putting this together
I cannot even fathom the amount of work that has went into this single video, which is here for free, this is one the greatest donation to the rest of the humanity by you guys. Respects to all of you who have worked on it.
Oh my god. The attention to detail is amazing.
I can only imagine the effort you guys have put into this.

These graphics are so stunning, I have watched several videos now and am just getting mindblown more and more... So impressive and beautiful
This has honestly got to be one of if not THE most in-depth and impressive videos I've ever seen relating to computer architecture! I just subscribed now. :)
i don't know how to describe this video in one word, or even one sentence. It is just too incredible, all the details, the animation, the explanation, clear and technical. Congratulations to everyone involved in this video, you guys nailed it.
Don't ever stop making these videos. The amazing effort you go through "you" your team keep up the good work and please start doing even more. I know $2 isn't much but it's something. when you get my 6 year old and my 12 year old son along with myself using your videos as sleep medication and Educational that does something. Your turning Education into something it was supposed to be. Thanks again.
one of the best animations i’ve ever seen on this, or any other platform. the fact you guys put these out for free is astounding
This is beyond amazing. Studying to be a technician and wanted to get an idea on how things work. Between this and another channel called PowerCert I'm learning a lot. VERY COOL!!
Thanks! Bro I cannot believe you taught me so much in just 18 minutes. I will build my gaming pc soon all thanks to you I got the courage to do it!
I've been building and repairing PC's since the 80's and for about 20 years working in I.T. as a SysAdmin, SRE and DevOps engineer and I never saw a video or a detailed explanation like this.
That's exactly what I was searching for: a detailed explanation to help teach my kids (and wife).
Thanks!
Amazing job with the modelling and animation. Learned a lot from this video. Great job guys.
Amazing stuff. Never came across anything like that. High level explanation with low level details. Great job!
Your channel is like fine wine. It gets better with time.
This is the most fascinating animation I've seen on computers.
Looking forward to your video on the microelectronics inside them chips.
A lot of good info in this video. I’m really looking forward to checking out some of your other videos. You guys are awesome!
Best video I've ever seen explaining this topic!
This is the exact level of visual detail I've been waiting for from anyone on the internet and really, only a channel like this could've have delivered so perfectly. With how complex and microscopic the makeup of parts are, it had to be CGI, but even the biggest VFX-focused channels have nothing on this so I knew I'd have to wait for you to put something out. Waiting for the CPU videos patiently!
props to the hardware and 3d modelling/animation team that worked on this to be as precise as humanly possible, absolutely insane
It was mind blowing. Have no words. Just dumbfounded. That you took 500 hours for this video humbled me hands down. Simply great.
This is a crazy level of work for a youtube video. Thank you!
The "inspired by The Magic School Bus" really caught me off guard there
Not only was this unbelievably high-quality, but the information was also giving concisely and quickly, which I feel is something that detailed videos sometimes lack. Even though it was on the longer side, I never lost attention.
This is a kind of video that makes it a whole lot more easier and clearer for the viewer to understand, really enjoying the content, its very well made and very well thought out!
When I was student (20 yrs ago), we just imagined in our head how these things were working, now the "kids" have access to amazing explanation videos. Amazing work - keep going!
I want to express my great gratitude for such an incredibly titanic work. As a teacher, I will definitely use this video in my lessons
Branch education was one of those channels that i was always sorry and upset that their videos were getting low views compared to the quality of their creation, but tonight i checked their older videos again and i was amazed by the amount of view that older video have gotten, i am so happy that you guys are getting the attention you deserve
And i always was like why they put this much effort to make this videos when views are low, but apparently you knew that hard work eventually pays off
Truly fabulous work . Loved it. thankyou!

As a person just getting into computers, this was just what i needed. You helped me understand how immensely complex these machines are without overloading me with information. The info presented was very easy to understand, and you have really kickstarted my understanding of computers from this one video. I'll say thank you for all your hard work to produce this, though it seems inadequate to express my appreciation. As your newest subscriber, I can't wait to see more of your work!
