Ather needs to start planning for a robotic factory as soon as possible. I agree in india we have a good manpower supply for work like this and employment and stuff but not efficiency and speed, robots cant be beaten in that and only through automation you will climd exponential production and growth. Just look at Tesla. Raise $500 million funding, automate the whole process. Best time to take the advantage.

When it comes to performance, ather wins it hands down but if want to go for little less budget 80 - 95k, epluto 7g and magnus pro are good choice. In Non registered models ampere reo plus and etrance are looking good. As of now buy only from Ather, PureEV and Ampere since rest all are looking like sell and disappear companies. No long term support guaranteed. They just assemble chinese parts stick random logo and sell.
My concern is, what happens in case if the EV scooter malfunctions on the road. There is no roadside mechanics available for it, rider has drag it long to the showroom/service centre or leave it there.
They have roadside assistance. You can call them. And it has 3 year warranty. If anything happens, they will replace it for free. Mine had a faulty wiring and and fan. They replaced it free of cost.

Ather has many features such as aluminium frame, connected features, highly efficient PMS motor and it comes in a completely different category of premium scooter. Also Ather uses mostly quality components, designed and made locally. Ampere is mostly budget oriented. Most parts are imported from China and assembled. Also build qualities of each differ mostly.
