I regret buying Chetak only because they have stopped app support for the first generation owners. Even though everything else of the scooter is excellent, dropping app support for your early buyers is plain cheating and unacceptable!

But app support was very expensive in chetak so i didn't apply for app in my chetak.
@@sameerdeshpande6360 I was one of the first customers of model 2403 right when it was launched. They did not charge me anything for app usage for 1.5 years. But now suddenly the app stopped working and I was told that another Chetak app runs only for model 2413. Its very shameful that a company like Bajaj does not even give an option and abruptly does this to its initial customers.
You said it right. In my case they asked 5000 Rs extra for app so i didn't buy it.
Honestly speaking, chetak 2403 (specifically) was never meant to be a connected scooter.
Bajaj wanted to just add the feature, for more of a brochure addon ,rather than real application of the system.
Both Ather and Bajaj should watch this, such a objective and informed review by these users, enjoyable conversation.

Shows how much improvement can be done... Ather is in the business since 10 yrs and Bajaj over a few decades... yet they cannot cover these shortcomings.
*Ather is NOT an ECONOMICAL scooter* ... It is good only for the people *who ride over 15,000kms per year.* Below that it is less economical than a petrol scooter.
A rich guy can afford Ather... then why will he buy Ather? He will buy Bajaj Pulsar or Enfield he can afford it even if petrol price goes higher.
*Ather doesn't make economic sense for riders below 15,000km/yr*
*I don't mind if Ather costs 3lakhs but the shit & chindi MANDATORY subscription (service+connectivity) is not needed.*
They say it's optional... It's NOT... It's not possible to use the vehicle to its potential... So how come it's optional.
If Tata sells you optional service charges you get to drive the vehicle as it is.
*With Ather you pay for full option and get half a vehicle unless you take subscription. WHAT UTTER NONSENSE*

27:35 you can do reverse without touching on the screen by pressing left brake , indicator switch and start switch in one go and reverse mode activates

Bajaj should increase the range 150-160km.provide a full size helmet storage. Front suspension should be better.otherwise it is a good vehicle quality wise. And a bit costly to the product they give.

I bought Ather 450 x from Chandigarh on 19th November, very happy with it, roads here are poor so waiting for repairs

Excellent review. A review first of its kind. Not a scenic location for riding the vehicles. Not even rode the vehicle. Only oral review. It was excellent have given the pros and cons bit by bit on each vehicle especially Ather. Almost 38 mins never i paused or stopped.👍
I am having Ather 450x total KM covered till date is 11500 in 9 months everything is ok but miss centre stand and definitely head light rest is perfect

I am using bajaj chetak for last 6 months and have covered more then 5000km it is one of the best scooter in market. Because of metal body it has best built quality .
Hello sameer i am planning to buy chetak... I had two things to say one is the helmet full size that is not going to come under seat that i will manage another is the suspension of the scooter because my father has a back problem with activa so how the scooter response on poth holes or bad roads... Please tell me also shall I wait for better range bajaj ev...
@@rajeevjain9476 as scooter is heavy its suspension works very well, i also have back problem but suspension is really nice. New models with more range and feature will keep on coming you have to buy according to your time requirement.

I live in a apartment and the maintenance team is not giving permission to have a electric socket in parking to charge EV. Pls make a video if there are any such rules/law with which I can overcome this problem.

Good review but didn’t discuss much about charging time, charging speed, real world range, ather grid benefits and how to charge chetak outside home etc.
Ather needs more high quality parts outside actually and Battery needs to be more bigger for more Range. Headlight is actually weak on Ather i agree but better than our Activa 3G. And belts make a lot of bad noise in Rain.

Wonderful review, lots of practical point covered. Ather has advantage of EV R&D effort and design. Bjaj has advantage of ages of scooter design, but more focused on eye catching than practicality.

I am an Ola Electric owner. I had test ridden bikes like Ather, Chetak, Ola, Icube TVS.
My personal opinion after riding all of them is to Buy OLA electric.
looking at the flaws and benefits of every bike. OLA beats all of them in terms of Range, Space, technology, appearance, and Performance.
Ola is highly convenient bike.
Dont buy Ather because its subscription plan is total waste. In Ola there's no subscription plan.
DOnt buy chetak it is too expensive and underperforms.
TVS iCube is the second in line after ola if anybody wishes a bike worth money.

Is the Ather 450X shown in this video a Gen 2 or Gen 3?
My client purchased a electric scooter worth 30000, where as Bajaj Chetak cost Rs 150000, huge difference. Please make a video showing difference. One main point you mentioned is suspension. Another point I found that, if a low cost electric scooter batteries fully discharge, battery has to be send to company, otherwise, it will not charge.
What about battery replacement after 3 years, ev 2 wheelers have 2 or 3 batteries & it cost around 40- 45000/-
I don't see any reason to buy an e scooter apart from saving money. And that too strictly when your daily run is more than 50-60 kms at least.
