Thy wondrous tune proves I have thou soul inside thy self. For when thy listen to such a sound it can be only explained as an out of body experience. What a pleasant feeling indeed.

Absolutely incredible symphony!!! I really love to see new long-form pieces being composed nowadays, especially symphonies of this caliber! The second movement has so many interesting colors/ textures in particular...
I'll definitely be saving this and listening to it frequently! Keep this up, this is incredible!

Well done! That's quite a challenge to compose a work of this length.

Dude, this is pretty freaking incredible! My goodness, I love it--all of the movements. The introduction is so brooding and dark, I love it!

Thus far have listened to the 1st two movements. One of the things I really admire are some of the dissonances and tonal shifts that emerge out of them...Overall the 1st movement is a bit disjunct thematically and formally. The 2nd bouncy theme seems out of place or the transition into it isn't prepared well enough....then that theme never returns later in the movement so, I wonder why it was needed. It also seems composed in a segmented way rather than being a well-integrated movement. The climax was good but seemed a bit grand suddenly for what had preceeded it. Like a suppressed Mahlerian presence was trying to emerge.
I really enjoyed the scherzo. A lively and tonally interesting scherzo theme (influenced by some cinematic composer; I'wasn't sure it was Williams because the orchestrations weren't like his...I'm no expert at the film composer's styles by any means. The b section was a wonderful contrast and such a great mood, a very English sound, perhaps like something Holst, Elgar or Walton would have written. The only thing I didn't find convincing was the very end of this movement.

I took in the final two movements. I really liked the adagio. The sleepy menace of that theme is very effective and hypnotic, the way it slowly builds and then you have a great contrast theme of relief. Part of it reminds of the NOVA theme music only slower. I only wish the big climax near the end of the movement had a little more killer instinct. For me it dissipates a bit too readily. Still overall this may be the strongest movement and certainly I think the two middle movements are the highlight of the symphony.
The final movement starts off as if there is going to be a great struggle...but most of the movement is calm...the outbursts of turmoil that break out about half way through and then again before the coda, are brief and don't really get developed or gain any lasting force. And I'm not sure the combination of the last two movement makes a strong dramaturgical statement. Where is the center of tension and resolution? More noticeably in this movement the influence of Mahler comes forward, but overall the way this movement and much of the symphony unfolds is more like cinematic music than true symphonic music. Climaxes don't build over time, they sort of just erupt suddenly. To me it seemed the 2nd theme from the Adagio is under developed....it's strong enough it could have been brought back to end the symphony and that would have tied the drama of those two movements and the menace factor together...speaking of the ending, I wish there was a little more movement, like a counter theme, in the chorale like ending. It would have been more textured and powerful.
Some beautiful melodic writing here, some strong ideas and two movements that worked really well for me.
