His most ominous and spot-on prediction was about Trump not accepting his loss, throwing doubt into the election process and worrying about what would happen. Fast forward to January 6, 2021.
That was probably one of the highest compliments a child could say of their parent. “I think of him and then I do the right thing”::::if only all our kids could say that.

Greg F. I think you’re missing the point. My parents taught me to “do the right thing” by example. They were good, honest people. I was also taught that you’re not always going to get it right, but it should be the goal. I’ve never been as good at as they were, but I’m usually trying.
Now days even when the parents do all they can to do the job well . Its never good enough ..They are set up to fail .
Larry did a great interview with Bill. He made bill human and got him to open up as a real person and say how he loved his Dad and what great influences his parents had been. Bill always is detached which takes away from his talent but in this interview Larry got Bill to reveal more of his fine qualities and let folks know him. Good job, Larry!
He really called it about Trump and the election.

Well, put yourself in their shoes. They might have spent $2000 on flights, hotel, show etc for a family. Fly out that day after work to hit a 11PM show, they land sometime around 9 let's say, meaning they are in the air while the promoter/venue changed the time... From that guy's point of view, $450 would be an insulting amount to be refunded. But from Bill's perspective, it wasn't his own fault... the money was out of kindness.

Economy is not booming. Stock markets have crashed, all the gains since 2017 have been lost in the huge crash we've seen in the last months. The deficit is growing bigger everyday, healthcare costs are at an all time high... Trump will bankrupt us like he has with his own companies dozens of times!

One of the things I love about Bill is he doesn't apologize for anything. He says and does what he means and sticks to it even when there's pushback. People are like "hey that hurt my feelings you owe me an apology" and he's just like "fuck you I don't owe you anything"😂

I don't look upon high for guidance when I need some, I think about what my parents would do. My mother being a nurse taking care of the elderly for decades & my father (recently retired) driving trucks for 50 years. I know not everyone is lucky enough to have good roll models, it makes me that much more thankful that I have mine.

That is great ... George Washington, or Abraham Lincoln, or FDR would be my faves, because all of these guys had the American future locked in and mapped out - and then it has been stolen from all of us at every level ... and by maybe even the same people.

Bill has no children and is fairly wealthy, he has a record of cutting $1,000,000 checks for Democratic fund raisers. He was offered a significant stake in the Mets organization that he said would be foolish not take advantage of.

He will not apologize for that, but I wish he admits he could have been more nuanced in his very reasonable assessment. Bill is known for being smart, and I think he hurt his reputation here being so unscrupulous on the comic book issue. I agree with him, but wouldn't be so derisive.
