IMHO this is the best rendition of this song by the best acapella band. Tim Foust (bass) wrote the arrangement for it when he was 19. Their singing and harmonies are always terrific & we even get to hear Adam Rupp sing (instead of beatboxing)! PS - I have a crush on Neville!! Please give him an extra treat for me . .
That is a church up in Mankato MN. They also sing Angels We Have Heard on High in the same church. Tim, the bass with 5 octaves, arranged this song when he was 19! They are all amazingly talented. Tim, Austin (high tenor) are also songwriters and have many originals. Tim wrote The Greatest Gifts of All that is also beautiful. Have a very Merry Christmas!
This is so gorgeous. Arranged by Tim Foust when he was a teen ager. He has made some adjustments over the years. Love the "carillon" effect. Neville is a very smart cat - he knew when the great music was about to start. Give him some ear scratches for me.
This song was my first introduction to Home Free--and they've been my favorite musicians ever since! Love it when these guys voice the bell tones🔔 Besides the unbelievable harmonies--and gorgeous church backdrop--getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ #HomeFree #HomeFreeDoesChristmasBest #AdamRuppSinging
Great reaction to this beautiful Christmas hymn sung so beautifully by #HomeFree. For a fun one they put out last year, I'd recommend Christmas in L.A., it's a bop. Their Angels We Have Heard on High is another wonderful Carol, sung in a different but also beautiful church.
If you watched the outro, you will know what church it was, but if not; it belonged to the Sisters of Notre Dame Monastery in Mankato. They filmed Angels We Have Heard there, too. Another great one. This is a fantastic start to your Christmas music, but it is hard to beat. One of the best versions of the song out there (IMHO). If you want to experience Tim as a true bass singer, not just as a stand up bass, they are releasing their video of You're a mean One, Mr. Grinch tomorrow at noon central.
@thomasmacdiarmid8251 no, the 'Church sessions' were years later and in Nashville. And were produced as part of an entire channel; Country Rebel, maybe? I'd have to go lòk. But those 3 HF Church sessions are definitly worth the time to watch.
These are not the “new guys,” these are the “old guys.” The high tenor, Austin Brown, recently left the group and was replaced by Adam Bastein. The baritone, Chris Rupp (in the cowboy hat) and one of the founders, left the group several years ago and was replaced by Adam Chance.
#OhHolyNight #HomeFree #JoshMurrayReactions Such a sweet rendition..the fellas did a wonderful job...they have many Christmas covers and even some originals...One cover I think was arranged by Adam Rupp.. 💥...Do You Hear What I Hear... Really heart warming 💚... I'm having a personal crisis with the new line-up of vocalists...earlier this year I wasn't happy to hear of Austin leaving the group to go solo..now..I'm trying to accept his replacement but find it awkward...the group has been known for their faith and the new member isn't what they have been known for..so I'm in crisis...heavy sigh...at this point I've only been listening to their previous recordings made before summer 2024...I can only pray he comes to Christ and there are changes in his life...I may receive negative comments but this is my opinion either way... Please continue your journey of Home Free..such a talented group...
Home Free did a beautiful job on O Holy Night. Tim with his range (yes, he's the bass), and Austin with his high notes...wow! I'm not sure what you would call it, but while Austin was singing, the rest made some beautiful sounds that made me think of snowflakes (if they could make sounds) drifting down to Earth. For another beautiful version of this song, please react to David Phelps (a Gaither Homecoming concert, and he's wearing a green sweater). He does more then the first verse, and when he gets to the "fall on your knees", it's goosebumps. Thank you for reacting to Home Free, and your cat is adorable and very loving. I love it!
Great reaction! Love your Kitty! Looking forward to more reactions by you, Oh please do "Do you Hear what I hear" by Home Free. Adam Rupp (beatboxer) arranged it. It's amazing! Watch till the end, they will say where they were.
Neville is such a cutie 😊 I believe they said the name of the church in their outro Tim Foust 1st singer is the bass he does have incredible range 5 octaves The gentleman in the cowboy hat is Chris Rupp he is the co founder his brother Adam Rupp is their beatboxer and co founder Chris left in 2016 and Adam Chance aka Chance ( baritone-bass ) took his place. Austin Brown ( high tenor ) was the second singer he left June of this year and Adam Bastien took his place. Home Free released a new Christmas album Any Kind Of Christmas an 4 new Christmas videos and 1 Thanksgiving song. The Thanksgiving Song Hark! The Herald Angels Sing Let Me Come Home ( Adam Bastien original tissues maybe needed) The Greatest Gifts Of All ( Tim Foust original) Santa Clause Is Coming To Town ( hilarious unhinged chaotic video) Your A Mean One Mr Grinch ( releasing Friday)
@ I can’t find a current set list, but just so you know, they are a secular group. While it’s considered a family friendly show, there is sometimes some mild swearing. Haha, I will bring him in and try and write up a contract. We will see what we can do! :) Thanks for the support and be looking out for more home free!
I am glad that TIM started this song and Austin did the second one. The harmonies are beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Neville is gorgeous ❤
He's sealing the limelight that's for sure! :)

They killed this. Austin looks so young here

So cool’ thanks for the info! Merry Christmas
I love this, it is my favorite carol, but Do You Hear What I Hear is spectacular!
This, this!!!
Neville reminds me of my cat, beautiful, he needs to be there for all your reactions, stole the show for sure!
Haha, you're not the first one to say that.
Neville has beautiful eyes. They say the church's name in Minnesota at the end of their video.
Pretty cat 🥰🥰 #HomeFree ❤
Merry Christmas to Josh and Meowy Christmas to Neville!
hahaha meow christmas :) :)
Great reaction
Thank you

Hahaha
I think Tim (bass) did this arrangement. Best rendition I've ever heard.
Tim Foust, the bass, has a decent range. It's ONLY 5 OCTAVES!

Home free “do you hear what i hear” is a unique bersion of the song and one of my faves

I think they have a whole series of songs recorded - or at least filmed - there, referred to as 'the church sessions.'

Yes your kitty is value added enjoyment of your great reaction😉💞
Love the reaction and your gato 🐈

There are plenty of gay Christians. There's nothing inherently anti-christian about being gay. If you think there is, you've been deceived.
Enjoyed Neville almost as much as the music. One of Home Frees older ones. Beautiful! Try O Holy Night for something very very different.
New sub for Home Free! I believe Neville stole the show! lol

I’ve actually reacted to that already. It’s hands down the best ever. Go check it out!
I love these guys
