I have the 12" downfire in a ford flex on a Alpine S-A60M and it bumps!
What if this was in a downfiring box with identical passive radiator... would that change your mind? Using sound deadener?

josh, your claimed top dim is 5 3/8 - the kicker website says the top dim is 4 3/8
did you take an actual measurment? i'd hate fo kicker to have the wrong dim listed, as i may get one of these soon for behind rear of '15 tacoma

Thing you have to realize is the noise a sub makes is how much air it moves. A 10" square is going to move more surface area than a circle will. I just don't know how well a little box like this is going to sound
How does this compare to the 10" COMPRT with passive radiator? I'm having trouble deciding between the two.

I have two of the 12'' version in my Tacoma running 650 watts RMS a piece and they are great
Want one (1) but cannot decide between 10 and 12. The 10 would fit perfect but my amp is 650 watts RMS and afraid it will break since the 10 only handles 500 watts.

...not necessarily. shallow has to do with the basket. volume has to do with the actual performance of the woofer (qmax, etc.)

I put the downfiring l710t enclosure in my 88 formula with the alpine sa120m behind my driver seat. It's pretty darn good.
Kicker L7T 10inch shallow sub or the JL 10TW3 D4 which one is better, the kicker is with 500rms and the JL is 400rms .. is it worth spending extra to get the JL 10TW3
The JL Audio 10Tw3 is the better woofer, there's no denying that. But as far as value is concerned Kicker L7T all day! Depends on budget you know what I mean. If you have the extra money drop it but if you still want good bass without paying the premium name then those kicker are a good value. Thanks for the comment!

(1500 watts peak) I would like to get the best and louder sound out the subwoofers can you please help me what can AMPLIFIER do you recommend me and connect it in parallel or series?

No…. That amp is only 600 watts these are 750 watts each.

How’s it compare to the shallow alpine R series
I've had both kicker and alpine subs in the past. I'm willing to bet the kicker hits just as harder if not harder and for half the price. Alpine makes great products but their pricing has become something to laugh at

25hz , what f does it have at 25 hz? hard to believe it will have an f3 of 25hz. Maybe f8 or even f10 at 25 hz?
Box measures about 0.61cuFT of air space so 25Hz would be impressive, but they are designed for up to 1.25cuFT so I wish *Breakers* had a graph showing it's capabilities.
@@carrickdubya4765 I hear ya. I find it very vague when people say "goes down to X frequency " without mentioning at what f. "25 Hz" can mean basically anything. As for the 10 Inch, I have never encountered a 10 inch that has an -f3 of 25 Hz in 0.6 cubic feet. So I believe its more of a -f8 or -f10 at 25 hz
