The Jersey Scandal: The Bloggers

Without the bloggers it is likely that little would ever have been known about the Jersey child abuse scandal. While the government of Jersey, some of whom were involved in facilitating or even participating in the abuse, worked hard to suppress all information about what had happened, Rico Sorda and Neil McMurray, two of a small number of citizens who spoke up, discovered the power of citizen journalism through blogging. Those in power on Jersey tried to intimidate them into silence but were unable to do so. This is their story.
