- A Pennsylvania man found himself on the other side of a string operation in January. Dominic Barbagallo, a male nanny, was allegedly caught messaging who he thought was a minor, but in reality, was a group of people posing as a child. The babysitter was then confronted by the group before confessing to all of his darkest secrets. The investigation was turned over to the State Police, who charged Barbagallo after confirming his admissions. "The Disturbing Truth" breaks down the full case in this true crime documentary.

Alex is a great example of how to catch the predators right. No over the top attitude, or cameras shoved in the face, or getting heated and angry openly with the creeps.
that's exactly how he used to be. I stopped watching his videos a long time ago because he was loud, obnoxious and it felt like he wasn't taking it seriously and just wanted to be youtube famous. I think it's so great that he seems to have completely changed. This was so well done. Whereas before Alex might have made the guy nervous and escalated the situation so that he felt threatened and ran away without admitting much, he did such an excellent job with his line of questioning and getting the guy to trust him and literally confess everything. Amazing.

Alex barely takes a day off and he and his small team travel the entire country, many times doing multiple catches in a day across states. They have been to 49 states multiple times and get countless arrests and convictions. His decoys are also incredible! Alex is always able to pull out more than is originally said in the chat logs and/or phone calls. The scary thing is that looking at infants is far more common than you would ever think, as the majority admit to viewing it!

They all do this. I watched a documentary where they interviewed child predators and they each said that they either target shy children or children with behavior issues. They also said they target certain types of parents. Single mothers who are having financial problems was a big target. Not just for abuse but also child abduction schemes. They also targeted parents who seem too trusting. One of the men interviewed was a former priest and he said he targeted children who had parents that were overly religious and blindly trusted authority figures. He said he knew they would believe him over their children. You have to understand that these are real predators who are looking for weaknesses in parents and children.

I'm 54. Until my siblings and I were 18 we were not allowed to go anywhere without our parents. They were scared of PDF Files touching us. This was the 70’s and 80's. My parents were ahead of their time. I also homeschooled my children and gave them a similar upbringing. You cannot be too safe in this evil world.

My stomach dropped when he started talking about the special relationship he has with the 4 year old and how she likes him and they have their own language.

its understated how genuinely talented Alex is at being able to ease the predators into the conversation. He uses investigative tactics that most people wouldn't really be able to master, especially what we're seeing nowadays with Vitaly and those people who are trying to 'catch predators' also. Didn't like him a while ago but he quickly became one of my favorite UA-camrs; the guy is helping so many communities by getting these guys off the streets.

Trust me, there are men who your children would be safer with than with any woman. Like me. I actually was thinking to maybe start working with children, because I'm tired of seeing all these monsters doing all these horrible things. A nanny is someone that is entrusted to care for children in the place of a parent which would mean free reign for these monsters to do as they wish.
Apologies to the decent men but I would NEVER let my children be babysat by a professional male baby sitter. Even at the nursery I would not let men change my kids or toilet them. Parents don’t seem to understand how common these creepy weirdos are!!

It’s so sad, I’ve seen male coworkers get accused of inappropriate behavior when us female staff are WAY more affectionate with the kids. I had a coworker get in trouble and accused because he was a 7 year old sped child’s favorite staff so she always wanted to hold his hand walking to recess and lunch. Never mind that us female staff snuggled, tickled, and dressed/undressed that same child. Discrimination is gross and unfair.

I am convinced, that the majority of pedophiles are very socially underdeveloped men who are unsuccessful with their peers. I think it's why pedophiles tend to stick out, for me. Just the mere fact that someone is “above their level” shows that it’s not about solving crimes or keeping society safe, its an enforcement arm of the politically elite. Just like the Stazi or brownshirts. That’s what I want people to realize. Our govt is no better them. The masses need to stop living in their facade that our govt represents light and freedom and “democracy” around the world and realize that our govt is on par or even worse than all of the people they point their finger at and scream “bad guy, bomb him.”

I don't understand why people talk to him as if they have to. There's no way everyone talks and admits doing illegal stuff (unless they have a conscious and are ready to go to jail). Curious about how many say, "No, thank you."
I have only seen like a handful go off and deny interrogation, but that was on other channels with inexperienced catchers who get the perpetrators in fight or flight mode, by making it feel like an interrogation. The key is to come off as friendly and nonchalant as possible to bring down their guard, and most of the ones I have seen, all divulge.
Alex never says he’s going to get the cops involved if they don’t talk, but he implies it. He always gets the cops involved anyway, but it usually works to get these guys talking.

Ignore some the politics and some of the tasteless humor, Alex makes them all crack. His ability to adapt and change his approach on the fly to get the same results almost every time is miraculous. I see a whole lot of hope from this ... I have been a fan of Alex for a while and he wasn't the first...but I think he has started a bigger movement. I see a lot of pred catcher groups and channels popping up. Tons of videos being shared around. This is changing the world...people are being educated to what preds want and their tactics... They are seeing how many of them exist and how they come in all shapes and sizes. People are finding the courage to speak up. Children are being kept from harm. People like Alex take a lot of legal risk to do this. I'm sure the amount of children saved from and prevented from harm is astronomical due to Alex and this movement. ❤
This is why i keep my child so damn close to me. As a mother who experienced SA as a child I am over cautious as to who I allow near my child. Needless to say, sometimes you just don't know a person.
