Thank you for this Brett. Took me a while to find a video showing how the built-in mic quality is and you basically nailed it for me. Much appreciated.
I actually prefer the internal tbh, it sounds more natural. Have you tried adding some mastering effects and bass? Also you could probably glue on a little wind buff for the internal mic to reduce wind noise
It’s does have a nice sound. The main down side for me is I like the freedom to move around or turn my head without risking losing quality audio! I haven’t tried that on the action 4 but I’ll look into it!
@@IndianPassenger you can go into the settings on the receiver or with the mic on press the power button once and you will see a yellow light indicating that intelligent noise cancelling is active. Just know that you can not use the feature when connecting the mic to your phone via Bluetooth.
The DJI Mic 2 takes away most of the "echo" in the room.. while the onboard mic was obvious echo in empty room.... perhaps the Mic 2 should be attached to your garmet to be hands free and have the camera set up in a stationary position... or hang on to both for vlog ... outside the onboard sounded terrible with the wind compared to the Mic 2 with windmuff... great video comparison... thanks for sharing

Definitely agree! Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated
do you have the lowcut setting turned on for the mic 2?
I did not for this video! I should make a video comparing using it and not to see if it sounds different!
Better audio with DJI mic2
@@Sporup agreed! But do you think the audio is usable on the Action 4?
@@YTBrettMiller you Can use the audio on action 4, but its much better with mic2. 👍👍 I use action4+dji mic2. It works.
@Sporup same I love the combo!
