TP-Link have done a great job with the AC750 Wifi Range Extender, as it is pretty simple to set up, it has a nice web interface and performs pretty well. Of course, you don't get the fastest speeds in the world, but it does a great job at letting you increase the range of your wifi signal, especially if you are stuck with a BT Home Hub like me!

It's pretty good, I just setted one up and it's great! I used to have 1 or 2 bars in my room, now it has 3 or 4 bars!
good one, thanks mate!
Can you setup the said to not broadcast? Possibly make it hidden?
I have the same model since my brother changed the home wifi router i have to set up thd repeater again. I followed the instruction manual but still cant connect.
Is it useless if there is (concrete) wall between the router and where I plug this device? The router is in my room and we would be putting the extender in our den which (around 3-5 meters distance) but the the walls of my room are made of some type of cement/concrete. Will this render the device useless or will it still be a great help?
can u tell me how far this extender could reach any device?
I like TP Link products. Thanks for the review.
Nice! No worries, I hope you found it useful!
My LED indicator for the distance between the extender and the router shows red, though they are 6 meters apart,
1) how can I fix it ?
2) will it affect the internet speed?
thnx for the video
So the WPS setup won't work for me and when I try the other one I don't see the extenders network to connect to. Any suggestions?
I tried to activate using option 2 since my desktop has no built in wifi. i press wps button and press extender re button. just keep blinking green and it does not become a solid green. as per the instruction it must stay solid green indicates it is connected. please help
Thank you
My biggest problem with this was it won't let me change the channel and channel width, so in a Wi-Fi busy area with lots of Wi-Fi devices clogging up the channels, it's frustrating as it looks like you could change it, but you click on the drop down menu for the channel, it currently says Auto, but the button does nothing, it's disabled! And there is no new firmware for this extender, so that's it basically, it will always be slow in a busy residential area.
If I name the Wifi Extender's SSID the same as the Router's, when I walk around the house, does the phone automatically switch back-and-forth to the strongest signal? Thanks!
It should do yes. Make sure the password is the same though!
Pushing the WPS button on my router and the wifi extender did not link them. :(
Try connecting a pc to the extender directly via the ethernet port on the bottom!
In terms of range, how does this one compare to the TP-Link RE200? Because it has external antennae, I suspect it has a larger signal range.
+mote99 I don't have the RE200 to test with, so can't fully say - but I assume there will be a decent increase - as well as better 5GHz usage.
+TechteamGB I see. That's what I suspect too. Anyway, thanks for the quick reply! :-)
+mote99 No worries!
TP Link RE210 AC750 vs NETGEAR EX3700? Really not sure which model to go for, any suggestions?
Sadly this is the only one I've used so can't really help much I'm afraid. Anyone else able to lend a hand?
I have a large space and would need two of it. It is possible to link two in line? router -> repeater -> repeater?
how to configure this?
thank you.
+Michel Polity You should be able to, as 1) they won't have any overlap (or at least they shouldn't) 2) you can just setup two different SSIDs (i.e WiFi_Ext1 and WiFi_Ext2)
+TechteamGB Thank you!
will it work if a press wds and re? in my router i only have wds and not wps
I assume so yes
+TechteamGB ok thanx
Cheap wifi repeater is as good as an expensive one if it's set up properly
hey quick question techteam do I need a router will this work with my modem
You do need a router yes, you need a router regardless of if you have this or not..
ok thank you kind sir, but what if my modem has /wifi?
FPtube Then the modem is also a router and wireless access point. You can use it just fine!
TechteamGB thx my guy
how to hard reset this?
1.) Press WPS (WiFi Password Sync) on your router
2.) Plug it in, press "Power"
3.) Press "RE"
4.) Connect to your new wifi
so I did all that but I’m not seeing a new option on settings to connect to the extender network so I’m confused
Kind of a crap device because it keeps disconnecting from the 5ghz signal whilst devices further than the extender are able to maintain connection.
I've tried setting it up just like u said and it doesnt fucking work ive tried hundreds of times and im fucking pissed off
ate tentei entender mas,kkkkkk
I have it it is not very good
My guy you showed your IP address
just bought one for £32
that music really distracts from the setup. unprofessional
He's doing just fine ;)
Your tutorial is not in depth and it me confused. This is why your channel isn’t bigger.
Buy something other than TP-Link. This device is a POS
lol u guys,he even did it wrong,he has to connect it to a wall socket alone and then to do the rest :P
This isn't a powerline adapter, so no you don't.
the instructions says that u have to put it on a wall socket alone, pls I use these kind of things for 2 years xD
Does it explicitly say that you can't use an extension lead? Either way, this one is still perfectly functional since the power connection is only used to power the device and nothing else. Data is only delivered through the WiFi antennas, and therefore makes it unnecessary to plug it directly into the wall. If you look at the date of this video, you'll notice I've been using this for 2 years too. Usage time =/= knowledge of the internal tech.
Whooever u ask when u buy this they will say u have to put it in a wall socket alone so it can work 100% perfect, putting it in not a wall socket lots of times there is a 70% chance it wont work perfectly,I did that mistake too,I didnt believe them but when I putted it alone it did work for me and for lots of others too, anyway to whoever it doesnt work, they either have a bad router or they didnt put it in a wall socket, thats all from me
