An old farmer once told me to slowly tighten-loosen and repeat over and over until it’s loose. I’ve had good results with it. As handy as you are why didn’t you just get an older non emissions truck. I got rid of my 2019 cascadia and bought a 2005 W900 with a CAT. So much happier and easy to work on!

Fun fact- Bolts never break where you can get to them easily. Last time it happened to me i bought a right angle drill and some HIGH QUALITY reverse drill bits and easy outs.(German made).Drilling the hole directly in center of bolt is crucial. Glad it worked out for you. ✌️

Hello Robert your broken bolt for the belt tensioner. I have had better luck by heating the bolt cherry red. Then pour cold water on the bolt. By getting it that hot, the bolt expans the cooling it will contact the bolt smaller.

Not too many propane torches can heat anything red hot. When you think Lowe's has high end drill bits you're in trouble. Plus trying to drill mig weld is never fun.

Same here ya gotta get it cherry red then spray it with pb blaster there's something about the chemical and heat on how it gets in the threads but it works. It's great you got it fixed Robert a frickin shop would have stuck it to y'all. Happy Thanksgiving guys

Whoever assembled that last time didn't use any anti-seize on it. That's a must when mixing aluminium and steel fasteners. I had the same issue on old airhead BMW motorctcles. The exhaust nuts are aluminum threaded onto a cast iron cylinder barrel.

Hello Lita and Robert. I thought those bolt outs would have worked. I have a 3-piece set and for the one I used it for, it came out easily. Perhaps some peanut brain put super glue on the bolts before installing it. At least you got it out and in. That's what she was hoping for. I do hope that you applied the correct amount of torque on that bolt. Have good days!

Do you not have auto part stores like napa?
Congrats on the repair. That was a good outcome to a bad situation. Be sure to get a spare bolt.
Did the insurance pick up the tree removal?
Wood fence prices in Oklahoma run about $25/foot doing post cutoffs. Don't let them lowball you. At least get cost and materials. Same for that chicken coop. That should be considered an outbuilding. Here if a tree falls over they don't pay unless it also damages a structure. Had one get pushed over and it pulled up a septic line. They wouldn't have paid anything except it also pulled the wires off the house. If the quotes come in higher, put the quotes up on their website and then call ypur agent for review. 3.6k is a pretty reasonable price if the do a decent job. Be sure to look at the rv roof too. Are your cats ok through all of that?
Don't get frustrated. Life's too short as it is. If you internalize it, you will just stress yourself into a heart event. Not worth it. And stop drinking those dang energy drinks. Those things are poison.
    Thanks for the videos.

You can select and change that the windows roll down when you unlock the door.
It should be on the instrument display in settings. What if you had something valuable in you ford and you accidentally pushed that button and rolled down the window at the store or something.
On the belt tensioner did you put antiseez on the bolts. It will a lot easier the next time. I do mean there will be a next time. Unless you got a dorman or OEM belt tensioner. Me once the bolt broke off the second time that accessory braket that holds the a/C compressor and alternator. I would take it off be easier to drill out.
Work smarter not harder and you worked way to hard and long.
But I am glad you didn't give up and order a new bracket. Welcome to my world I worked on trucks for 20 years. Yes now I'm driving them. Bring a truck mechanic tore my body up. I was a couple pulls from blowing my shoulders out. My knees where already shot along with my back. Good luck out there hope you get back on the road soon. We miss you guys out there.

You need an oxy/acetylene torch they don't call em heat wrenchs for a good reason and get that bolt red hot spray it with some kind of penetrating stuff might have to do it several times and heat around the bolt. steel bolts and aluminum results in corrosion almost like welding the bolt in.Also that bolt may have been overtightened by someone in there before you .

Think about leasing your to a company. The company I drive for leases trucks. Matter fact they have terminal in Jasper TN. They do flatbed and step deck. I been toying at the idea. Some of the drivers can make like 80% of the load. You use there equipment trailers, chains and binders there 4 inch strap and tarps. Think about it. We normally run from the plains to the southeast coast.

the pipes are the clean air to your air compressor, only five bolts hold the accessory drive bracket on, would have been easy to remove the bracket and drill the bolt out and install a helicoil kit. three days lost would have been cheaper to buy a new bracket and get on the road. i hate that bolt, about a ten percent chance you end up pulling the threads or it breaks.

The battery was short circuiting it and making the car do all kinds of stupid stuff. Maybe the battery in the key fob is going bad. Try changing it!!!!

The last time I saw one like that I had a claim on the engine and the Shop disassembled the whole front end and replaced the Acessory front engine surround mounting plate. I believe that is what they called it. Paccar paid for it 17 hours labor it takes 2 people a days work. This is not uncommon for that one bolt to do that. This truck like yours only had 124000 miles.

Galvanic corrosion is bItch sometimes. It can make your life miserable for sure lol
Something that works for me is to weld a big blob on the end of the bolt (it will not harm the aluminum) first, especially if the bolt is broke below the surface and this will give you something to weld your nut or washer to.
