Very normal to not want to be a mom at 18… I didn’t either! But at 20 I found my other half, still did not want kids.. UNTIL i turned 28 and changed my mind and felt like I wanted to have my own baby. and took me a year to conceive my daughter. And TRUST ME i never liked kids, not one maternal bone in my body EVER. But when it’s YOUR BABY it hits different 🥰 those maternal instincts kick in. But I always tell others that it is totally OKAY and GREAT to never want kids🫶🫶

Been watching y’all for 4 years now and the growth is making me emo. Like I truly think I’m gonna shed a tear when y’all get to New York. I’m also from a tiny southern town and I know how big of a deal it is the get out. Adding a teen pregnancy and solo motherhood on top of that, gosh all I can say is y’all are doing the dang thing. I’m truly so proud of y’all and am so blessed by y’all sharing your lives with us! It’s inspiring!!

Love y'alls Q&As SOOO much 😊 I was adopted and my birth mom was 14 when she had me as well. I also relate to Annica in not having the maternal instincts and baby fever still hasn't hit (I'm turning 30 this month, lol)! I've been finding folks on childfree TikTok to explore more of the reasons why I'm feeling this way and it's just becoming more and more clear to my husband and I that we may never feel that calling. My adoptive parents were incredible raising me and are very similar to Jennica in being supportive of this. They'd be happy either way so long as I'm happy! You girls are the best and it's super reaffirming to relate to so many things that both of you say. ❤ Thanks for being so vulnerable and sharing your journey with all of us!

I as a 28 year old was and am still Annica !!! I knew when I was 14 I did not want that and it is amazing that you can have the choice now! Being respectfully childfree is a wonderful thing and it is beautiful to be so independent and not go with tradition if you do not want to ! Keep owning who you are ! Instagram broadcast channels are amazing! And you both can be on there as admin and moderator. You can do polls and Question boxes. Pretty much anything that you can do on an insta story but for the group of people that actually care to join.

I’m the same way, Annica !! I’ve never ever thought that I wanted to have kids, and I’m 21 and still don’t think I ever will. My mom told me something that was interesting about it, though. She said that since she was a single mom my whole life and I never saw her with anyone that maybe that’s why I couldn’t picture that for myself. It’s an interesting thought haha.

14:47 i agree with Jennica. Annica is sooooo young right now but at 22 i am terrified to have another child because of my last relationship . Single mom and going thru pregnancy alone was extremely hard for me. But people do tell me once i find someone stable healthy my mind can probably change on having another child

As a product of divorce, I have been saying since middle school that I don’t want kids and my family always said “yeah right” but I am almost 30 with still no desire to have children. I love to see and spoil my friends kiddos, but I’m with Annica, pushing one out is enough to make me not want one 😅
