    My daughter's actual accounts on some things she has signed in even on my phone.... unless she asks me to write someone specifically to help her with something difficult....I don't look at it. She's sooo open with me, so she'll share it without me asking. I'd prob get upset at the teenage drama like u and hold grudges.... so avoid all of that. But her friends can't believe I have unlimited access and I don't feel the need to look. I love that you have such similar styles as I do with my girls. Many ppl DO NOT UNDERSTAND the reasoning and dynamics behind things and our relationships, but it's so much better to have an honest and open dialog at all times. My kids are never scared to tell me or ask anything....& that's the best feeling in the entire world. To this day I can't lie to my mom.... I've always tattled on myself or have TMI & I think my kids picked up on that 😃!

      @kita3256 2 роки тому

      @@imawakemymindisalive13 well same here. I think parenting in general is so hard. I think the Main difference I see is that good moms(and dads) are those that are willing to put their mental health as a priority and deal with past traumas. In that way, they are being better versions of themselves and that not only benefits them but their children. It’s an awareness of wanting to be better and then doing the work. My parents never wanted to deal with their traumas and affected me, to this day. And I’m 36.

    Hi. Great video and thanks for sharing. So true and high school is rough. I got bullied from grade 6 to grade 11. It was horrible. I skipped school half the time because of that. I couldn't focus in class. I finally started to enjoy high school in grade 12 when they all stopped bullying me, but then I had to graduate. And then college was over in the blink of an eye lol I attended a top tier university, went on to a great law school, etc. and honestly now I realize that it’s all just about prestige and not really about quality education or a better life. when you said that people remember comments for forever. i couldnt agree more. im currently 17 and when i was about 8, a group of people in my class (including me) were all getting weighed and everyone weighed like 70lbs and then when they saw the 90 pop up when i stepped on, they just looked at me.
    then when i was in fourth grade, this lady came into my class to talk about like dietary needs and i told her what i ate in a day and she told me i was unhealthy, and that i was living an unhealthy lifestyle.
    then a kid in my class told me a few months later when i asked if any of the boys liked me, he said “let your mirror tell you! of course not!”
    and some things just stick. especially when youre so young. and i dont hate these people, but i definitely won’t forget what they said or how their comments/looks made me feel.

    AJ's face when the " I don't have to tell you" part came up 😆. You can tell that answer really bothers her haha. Been there, done that and FELT that sister. We all have honestly . As someone who's only a couple years younger than your mom I identify with her side a little more now ( Oh God does that make me old!? 🙈) and see where she's coming from but definitely during my teens everytime one of my parents would pull that card I would start burning up inside hahah.
    Also, I know for a fact that you would absolutely adore the series one tree hill. When you started talking about hs it immediately came to mind. You will get so much out of it especially at this time in your life. It's amazing.
    One last thing, you are doing great. I know that high school is a struggle a lot of the times for so many different reasons but the perspective that you have about it shows that you are going to be more than fine cause for a 15 year old, you my girl seem to be pretty well rounded. I know it's easier said than done a lot of the time but don't ever let the social pressures of high school get to you. Always stay true to yourself and the ones who truly care about you and love you. That's one thing you will never regret and always remember you have a whole army here on yt cheering for you. ❤
    Jennica you may still be young and learning yourself which I can only begin to imagine how scary it is when being "in charge" of shaping another person and trying to teach them about life while still trying to figure it out yourself but you are doing great. The way you expressed yourself here about all of the subjects shows that. You are an A1 mom :)

    I’ve made “complimenting more” a New Years resolution before. Life changing. Even just taking the extra time to fill out surveys at restaurants if asked, I did them. I did it to also help me accept a small compliment (welcomed and not creepy ones, of course) I never knew how to react or would dismiss a compliment cause I just always felt awkward when I didn’t have to feel that way.

    Compliments really do stick with people! About 13 years ago I was getting into an elevator and a girl was coming out and she was so genuine when she told me I was pretty it’s just a moment I’ll never forget not bc I’m vain So far from it actually but just the way she said it made me know she meant it and it just has stuck with me all those years🤷🏻‍♀️
    Also as of right now Annica has 928 subscribers ❤️👍🏻🎉

    YES to promoting birth control! I'm 26 and thank goodness for birth control to control horrible periods and cramping. I grew up never going to the gynocologist until I was 21 and my parents only thinking it was to prevent pregnancy

    Yes what people say it does stick to you I had a senior teacher who told me to come out the classroom and told me in my face "You will never get a job" bc I'm a shy person and I remember I almost cried and I have had plenty of job opportunities but that sticked with me for 7 years lol I graduated 2014

    I've ALWAYS done the complimenting thing. From the time I was like 12 and on I would just always compliment people because I wanted them to feel as good as I felt whenever someone randomly complimented me and I knew that they meant it. Whether it was me and my cousins walking up to a group of girls that were picking on two other girls and complimenting those two other girls in front of the mean girls and just making them feel so much better about themselves because older girls were complimenting them, we're using the bathroom at Walmart and complimenting the person next to you washing their hands. It genuinely does make people feel a little bit better about themselves and why not what's stopping you? Now at 25 years old I can honestly say that especially when an adult or older teenage girl compliments a middle teenage to younger teenage girl it genuinely like lights up their eyes almost cuz y'all remember how insecure we were about ourselves in our early teenage years? I know I sure do. Compliments go a long way.

    I’m 24 and I can definitely testify that high school doesn’t matter! I literally only talk to 2 people from my high school friend group and it’s because me and her have been friends since we were 4 and she married on of our guy friends. I know it seems like a big deal in the moment but don’t get caught up in it. It literally doesn’t last!

    The reason why “periods” are lighter during birth control is because you don’t ovulate (which is the point of bc)… It’s called a withdrawal bleed and was taken into account in the formulation of the pills to resemble a period. But in reality no lining is shed during this time.
