Lobster Dive in PV

Awesome dive day in Palos Verdes! Crystal clear dive conditions and razor sharp picture quality thanks to my new flat lens housing.

what kind of seaweed are you harvesting? do you eat that? Are there sewers that empty into the ocean in that area?

The skinny grass is eel grass. The thicker stuff is kelp. I put either on top of my lobsters in the bag after the dive. That helps keep them alive longer if they’re wet, but not submerged in water

marine land would be accessed from going through san pedro-gaffey-25th/pv dr. south. other than that, you would access pv from pch or anaheim/pv dr. north from the 110fwy

Naw, never been harassed, other than fish&game. Other areas of PV are more localized, but that tends to apply to surfers more than divers. And when the surf is up, it's not good for diving anyway.

Question, Isn't PV part of a protected area where there is no fishing?

@@javanis5151 Parts of it, now, yes. A large area on the SW corner of the peninsula and some areas on the S side are MPA. I find the better dive areas are on the W, but the place in this video is was legal then and is legal, still.

Pretty much search LA aqua babies in PV and get directions to there, just behind it is the beach/ spot he is at. There may seem like there is parking but I would advise on walking from a public parking area, last time I got towed.
