Good thing it has a built in following. The show is mediocre. None of the characters are terribly likable and it is a relatively slow burn where very little actually happens. It could have been a movie special and nothing would be lost.
I think the split screen of faces at the end was more the pair returning to their previous roles, oppressor and rebel, but under each others circumstances with Negan being the one trapped into keeping people safe, and Maggie being the one on the hunt so to speak. It makes more sense to me than Maggie suddenly getting over her now habitual hatred of Negan because of a few drawings, one being of a woman she's never met or seen before.
I love how TWD pairs up characters. They build each other up, in a good way or bad. I especially loved Neagan and Maggie characters sparking each other. I’m here for it.
This is a great character study show focusing on two characters instead of a massive sprawling cast. I think the original series just grew too big with too many characters. By having a short season it helps to focus on good storytelling and keep costs down. AMC made the call to keep it to only 6 episodes. Good move.
Maggie and Negan shouldn't have chemistry. He brutally murdered her husband. He should be dead by her hand. That would be realistic. You don't fuck your husbands murderer. There is no forgive and forget.

I think the "old" Negan will have a total breakdown next season. I think he can only take so much of playing that tough man who has no compassion. Yes, he will play the part to protect Hershel and Maggie as well as the people of The Bricks (Hilltop), Alexandria, Oceanside and the Commonwealth but he will struggle to step back into those shoes 13/14 years later. He was never evil, he took on an evil image for what he believed was the greater good but has since learned it was wrong. Having to do it again now, as a 60 year old man who has learned to cars for and love again other people and the weaker people, it may become too much for him. How many parents can he kill in front of their children or husbands in front of their wives again before he gives up and says no? My bet is by the time Maggie gets to him again, he will be a broken soul who she will have to put back together again.
I want him to be confronted by a still alive Janine or one of the kids he used to teach. Get his past coming up as a dirty reminder when he's acting like big 'ol bossman again to push his character development. Mostly because, lets be honest, he's one of the few TWD characters to actually get a full blown development arc. I guess that all depends on the writer's strike though. Let's hope it doesn't become another Heroes.
I love Dama's statement about Politics / "Public News" 100% our current situation; no matter what side you're on. Both sides accuse the other for The Performance.
Very refreshing. Hoping for season 2. Thanks for the explanation. I did not get at first about the trade of the grain so when She started to fight with Negan, I got confused. However, your explanation was very helpful in understanding the reason. Thanks. BTW, the so-called Broadway theater reminds of the scene , Escape from New York.
Big fan of the _Escape_ movies and Snake Plissken here too. In fact, my partner and I wrote a 300-page fan novel about Snake's adventures after _Escape From LA _ although we never published it anywhere except the web, and it has since disappeared.
Overall wasn't bad. Still better than Fear the Walking Dead. But idk.. I felt something was lacking? And I feel the writers are gonna drag on this story with Maggie and Negan and I'm already getting bored with it. Like we get it. She hates him, she's never gonna forgive him. But we need to end this shit already. One of them needs to be killed off. Give them a proper send off. I can already guess how season 2 will go. Maggie is gonna have some sympathy and go back and rescue Negan. 1st season: rescue hershall. 2nd season: rescue Negan. 3rd season: rescue Maggie. lmao.
The show isn't about Maggie and Negan bruh , but they are the main charactors of a much wider story, which is Dead City and the everything else surrounding it. Yes the usual fight for control and all that still lurks but then again in an acolyptic world, that tends to happen when one is trying to survive in a dead world 'But idk.... And while your getting "already bored" with the storyline, the storyline itself is the very reason this show existed so giving your view on it is fine but if your complaining, and think writers are doing poor job, you are more that welcome to come up with solid ideas do their jobs for them and best on your guesses i think you will do a better job ✌P.S this isn't personal, just my opinion
I really enjoyed this series. At first I didn’t know how focusing on one or two characters (out of the large cast of the main series) in an individual series would work, but it’s very interesting. With that season finale I’m invested in a season 2.
I was worried about this show, but I like the direction it's headed now. Only weak point in the narrative is Maggie telling her son that she realizes he's right about her obsession with Negan superseding her concern for him, and then deciding that the solution is to actually be MORE obsessed by trying to "finish it". Might have made more sense if Herschel had suggested that Maggie finish it so they can be free from the cloud over their lives instead of just going full brat mode.
Herschel doesn’t want Negan dead. He doesn’t forgive negan for killing his dad, but the only Negan he’s ever known has been a changed one to the stories his mother tells
Negan is a homicidal maniac who enjoys torturing and killing innocents enough to photograph and save the photos of the carnage he causes he even rapes his harem of wives by coercing them into sex they'd never have otherwise
I think the spin-offs have been done well. Tight, controlled storytelling, excellent pacing, no filler. Great format for telling stories in TWD universe.
Really dig the series and went in every week for the new entry ! Doh I have to say nothing beats the first seasons of TWD, this is quiet nice to watch 🥳 Can’t wait on the Dixon-Spin Off, should be more around the origin of the virus, no ? ✌️

Dead city & Daryl show saved walking dead literally it’s hella good haven’t seen good season since season 5 kind 6. And near the end of show so since gimple left human talk like they real people but he was all over the Rick and Mishone show and all the bad writing came back get that dude away from the franchise in dialogue /script
Mr. Think Story, you have proved yourself here as both astute and clever. Thank you for giving credit where credit was due, not filling up your vid with opinions about different actors which may or may not have any relation to the end product. You pay homage to the old ones and 11 seasons and you make room for the series to grow. You showed, imho, a truly telling bit from Nunny Isa, her accusing Daryl of abandoning Laurent. Cheap shot
Dead City has way better characters than the mainline. On top of Negan’s maximum charisma points the smaller number of people in our group gives the mains more screen time. There’s no filler characters like Tara Rosita Aaron etc. Every dead city episode is focused on one or both main characters
Ditto. I hate filler characters too. I’m not even a big fan of Daryl’s or Aaron or any of the others. Maggie and Negan are my faves, and I’m solely invested in ❤️
@@Ibrahim-ui1nsalso Aaron’s one of the only parents in the series , he is definitley a main character at the end … he infiltrated the satellite station and raised grace after they Merced some saviors ..
Spoilers: My issue with Dead City is they hinted at the CRM coming and taking people's resources, but in the Ones Who Live, the CRM has been delt with. So who is the big baddie that will link all the spin offs.
Maybe he will win... LoL. Now negan is the character with the 2nd biggest fanbase in Walking dead. 1st is probably daryl. Back when he was introduced, he was just a cool villain. Now he is the main character.
I like this spin off with Maggie and Negan the action is excellent, good story so far and zombies everywhere so I look forward to season 2 and hope you guys stay around for awhile and keep this series on for a long time with amazing story lines good luck see you in season 2
The only issue I had with the show was the little girl who’s father negan killed I hated her character she was the only character that I wanted to die but didn’t
i kinda hate the fact that negan saved hershel not once but twice, one in twd season 11 and 1 in dead city. Maggie is so obsessed she forgot those important things. negan saved her friends multiple times even daryl got saved by him. and in twd season 11 they had a heart to heart talked where maggie said that she can't forgive him but she definitely trust him and now in dead city she told negan that she can't trust him. like what? negan is not perfect but he saved them multiple times and this is kinda sad and kinda contradicting with the twd season 11 where theyre like a good team
Lol for real Maggie is so annoying with her obsession with Negan, that she jeopardizes lives. Look what happened in the series: she got that whole crew killed, when they could’ve just delivered Negan from the start… wtf makes no sense.
@@dannyhernandez265 So funny how everything thinks Maggie is annoying for hating Negan. Just considering how everyone lost their shit when negan killed Glenn but now Maggie is annoying for not being over it. And for the record I agree Maggie should just get over it, Negan is one of the best characters in the show imo
I think she is softening up on him but she doesn't want to. She can't let go of that hate and she feels guilty when she does let go a little. I mean what he did to Glenn AND Abraham was horrible and she was pregnant so imagine!! Who wouldn't want revenge. Shit, I did and I was just watching. But I do think eventually she will finally let it go and forgive him. He definitely redeemed himself after all of the thing's he did for them. I think he felt he owed it to them as well. He is actually an asset to them in my opinion. He knows the group, he has a history with them no matter how dark it is. They know each other, they know each other's strengths and potential. They could all be so much stronger together if they can all get past......the past.
Me too. I just remember back when she first left the hilltop and told Jesus she wanted him to be in charge in her absence. If I remember correctly she wanted to go out and create a new community or help build up an already existing one. Remember when those ladies in the mini van came looking to trade "knowledge" for supplies??? They told Maggie they had information, a book, on how to create a self sustainable community. Windmills, crops, all kinds of things. Maggie didn't exactly trust them but she made the trade. She built up hilltop even more and better and then decided that the knowledge she got from those ladies was valuable and that other communities should have it as well. She felt it was her responsibility to go and spread this knowledge. So I assume she is at these new communities for that reason.
The fact that the characters are going back to who they once were is great! Wonder if when Rick comes back he’s gonna have to be the one to take down the new Saviors and make good on his promise to Negan
I don’t understand the bricks place. How did Maggie get there and who are those people. Why isn’t she with the original group at Alexandria or the commonwealth ?
The Walking Dead really felt like it should have ended years ago. However, I'm liking these new spin offs. The way dead city is centred around a few of the shows original characters and expands upon their story is very enjoyable. The fact the new characters are also well developed and not total campness is good too. I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing season 2. The two actors playing the villains are great. They have always played great villains and will be great in season two. Maggie perhaps finally moving on to the point where she may forgive Negan 16 years after he murdered her husband is also good character development. Together they could become good allies. It's also quite perverse in a totally realistic way that Negan may take on a father role for Hershel Jr in his teenage years. Hershel never knew his father and so it's hard to hate Negan for killing a father he never met. Where as Negan feels that perhaps he needs to makeup for Glen's absence. The Daryl Dixon spin off also looks good. I've always wanted the walking dead to move to Europe. FTWD going to Mexico and Texas wasn't a good move and stagnated. Europe offers a totally new world where society can have adapted entirely differently (castles, forts and ancient structures as colonies etc). France will be interesting and it gives us the chance in future seasons to see more of Europe near France like the UK, Netherlands, Spain and Germany etc. For the first time in about 6 years or so, I'm positive about thr walking deads future. It could go on a long, long time now with this new format. Rick and Michone will be fun too.
Well, castles and fortified manors were originally created during the medieval period to hold off the ( more adept ) equivalent of Walkers -- so it makes sense they would again become fortified havens in a zombie apocalypse.
Negan didn't just kill glenn he did that to at least 20 groups of people Enjoyed it And had a harem of women forced into sex under threat which is rape
@@johnmarston1419 They could still leave though. And they didn’t really leave because they were probably enjoying the high life. Nice place, nice food, they were friends with each other, safe, etc…A lot of women were probably jealous. And if they leave and can’t cheat; that’s just a condition. A lot of divorce settlements have conditions. This one was just a little different because of the apocalypse conditions.
Personally I think that it's a good addition to the overall series, with this The Daryl one coming out the one with Rick & Michone and Fears final season we get the chance to see the hole Walking Dead World and understand what happed to it. We don't really need to know how it started or what caused it(it could be literally anything at this point just look @ The Division you could use it & it'd work) what we need is information on the rest of the world, we already know thanks to FTWD about the L.A. area & the early days of it and thanks to TWD we know about Georgia, Clementine showed use what happened with the Smaller Towns. There is still so much of the world in this little slice of hell to see that I hope that they keep going....
@BlazeNarutoShippuden Yea but she's considered comic canon so still we see those small places through her in what essentially the same world. She may not be official show canon but basically in the same world
I really dislike how they have a complete inability to make a season without a "bad guy" or two. Like fuckkk, the conflict and drama should be surviving in the world. Not typical bad guys.
They need to stop with the dramatic relationship and change things up, so many plot holes, so many random events, I wish Negan was planning on taking over the whole time and for the “redemption” to end.
not gonna lie, this show would be much better if The Walking Dead (the main show) never existed. Despite its massive plot holes, the main show was good for the first 4 or 5 seasons. many "world gone to shit" stories are packed full of plot holes and thus aren't massive ridiculous stories and many have the story take place years after the events of the world go to shit with maybe little flashbacks here and there to explain what happened like TLOU. The Walking Dead's world being ruined by a bunch of slow-moving zombies is insane. I heard a guy once say that if you have the ability to break into a light jog, you can survive the world of The Walking Dead. There are also far more good people than evil people in the world so a group like the saviors suddenly going around killing, torturing, enslaving, and bullying smaller groups isn't really something that would happen after only a couple years into the apocalypse. It feels as if Negan showed up 5 years into the story, but remember that Judith is still a baby when he shows up. She can't even talk yet. And Judith was born a little less than a year into the apocalypse. Maybe 9 or 10 months. Also, the little flashbacks of Negan and Simon being against killing kids was pointless as Negan killed a 15-year-old and was going to kill Carl if I remember correctly hadn't that stupid tiger performed an ex machina. that being said, this show seems to take place YEARS after the main events of the story. It's a story with a beginning, middle, and end. Maggie is REALISTICALLY resenting Negan, even after the whole thing where they "came to a mutual understanding" at the end of the main show. the mutated zombies are interesting, though if it were me I'd add scarier variants and make them much faster, maybe make them able to climb and make more human-like noises like the zombies in TLOU. the problem with making changes that could improve this half-way decent show is that it makes the story not lore-friendly and it retcons a lot of what happened in The Walking Dead. and TWD had already done that in the past with the zombies. though, if you'd ask me, i would make this spin-off a one season story where Negan dies at the end. the show made a good job of me liking his character more than i did when i watched the show. of course i wasn't too keen on some of his cheesy lines (which makes him not very scary to me) but if those were re-written and if he was a little more ruthless, but also died at the end of the show, the show would've been the best it could be. another thing i'd do would be to make Maggie a little more likeable because i did find myself rolling my eyes a little bit at the stupid things she'd do. and i wouldn't make her so much of the protagonist of the story, because she really shouldn't be. this isnt breaking bad and the writers aren't good enough to write a compelling protagonist that's an anti-hero/anti-villain/villain. they shouldve had negan be more of a center focus and point of view character rather than the writers trying to have this nuetral bias between the two, leaning towards negan at random times but then later towards maggie. it just felt a bit strange to me. overall i'd give this show a 6/10 with a potential to be an 7.5/10 if it was writen as good as it could've been
I predict Maggie moved to the bricks because crm took over the commonwealth and hilltop….we will see Rick be recruited by crm be made a general and lead a war against Negan and Manhattan. Dwight will show up warning maggie about the real crm and find Rick eventual leading Rick and negan fighting side by side.
I don’t think that happened considering the CRM have no intention to intervine with the commonwealth. Also if that happened the CRM would most likely destroy the commonwealth as well as the other communities.
@@darthdank1993 true. I saw the Rick show. And just now finished dead city. Didn’t watch season 2 of world beyond so I’m still figuring out the whole crm thing.
Ngl I hated the way Maggie and Negans relationship worked execution wise and made me lose interest at the start. However I love the choice here where Maggie ironically put Negan back in a position of power once again. Negan in order to protect has to revert back to his old self. It feels like the two characters will be tested to see if they can hold off their immoral obligations.
Notice how while they're back in their old roles, their positions are now reversed too? With Negan being the one unable to act as he wants due to people he cares about and Maggie the one on the attack in the exact opposite positions they were once in. Nice bit of narrative there. Including Maggie now having the 'traitor' in her midst instead of Negan in the form of a brainwashed son rather than a scarred lieutenant and Ginny poised to counter him at the Bricks.
I think with Negans wake up call for being a better person, he might be able to use his old cocky ways for good. I just hope he doesn’t get killed off. Negan was really bad, and he did deserve to die, but him living with the guilt, is punishment enough.
Honestly, I’ve seen this comment a few times and whilst I agree it’s an improvement, I think people are really also forgetting how bad seasons 7 and 8 really were. Season 9 was way better than those two seasons. Season 10 was too. They just kinda fumbled it when they added extra covid episodes and stretched season 11 so thin.
@@lewgallagher463cap. Season 7 and 8 had problems, and I agree season 9 was pretty good, season 10 and 11 were dogshit. 😂 they had moments, sure, but it was dogshit.

@@lewgallagher463 bro there’s no reason to be charitable to 10 and 11. Shit was the most predictable and lackluster tv I’ve ever seen. What was it, season 10 where Judith repaired Darryl’s jacket? They talked and talked and talked and did absolutely nothing like it was a Disney show where they could wish their problems away.
I simply cannot wait. Negan is my second favorite character in media of all time. And having him humbled over the last few years has been a waste. I cannot wait to see negan in his prime again.
Way better than the main show. I think it’s because it’s more intimate with the characters and rather than focusing on the next major external conflict it’s main focus is more with smaller inner conflicts with just one major overarching external conflict.
i already figured it all out after the walking dead the ones who survive aired. all these side stories are leading up to reuniting with rick and michone and joining the army theres 3 bases so it makes sense. dayril is in one, maggie and whats his name is in another.

It just didn't do it for me and I'm sad that's the case. I begrudgingly gave up on TWD after Carl died and always hoped something from the expanded universe will let this universe last a little bit longer for me. I gave this show an honest chance but idk. Maybe my relationship with TWD is like a soured intimate relationship, no matter what they do I can never care for it again.
We loved it and are so frustrated we have to wait to see more. I had actually lost interest in TWD a long time ago but when I happened across the trailer for this, it sparked my interest. I don’t know that I’ll care much for the other spin-offs but I definitely love this one. Maggie and Negan are the team up I didn’t know I wanted lol.
I feel like Maggie is the antagonist actually. Negan is totally the protagonist of the entire series. This next season will be a character study on him. What will he do to keep Maggie's kid safe, and what evil shit will Maggie do in spite of him. One could argue the Croat and dame are the antagonists too but at the heart, Maggie is the evil within.
Looks like it so far, unless they change it next season. Most likely to keep his role now is either to spy (the Croat is a very good torturer) or to keep his mum away from Negan and danger, but they could give him any motivation later. All we know so far is he was with her long enough to draw her, his opinions on a heap of stuff did a complete 180 and his resentment towards his mum is now out in the open. He IS set up perfectly to take up Dwight's role from the Saviors arc and betray his mother to the Lady though. Do a reverse of their origin stories.
Great show love the fast pace dialogs between charachters . And the gritty vibe to it , Maggie really is starting to get more and more annoying 😅but that only means she's playing here part GOOD 👍🏾

Awesome explanation of things, which were not so clear on first sight! The theatre looks like the one in " a clockwerk orange" ^^ cant also wait for the 2nd season 🙂
Well the Croat says he's a scientist and he discovered this method to create unlimited fuel and energy source. It seems the Marshall community leaders all want that technology for their own fuel needs too. So the Croat boss is right that other people will come for them. The only thing that doesn't make sense is why recruit Negan to lead them when they already have the Croat.
So with that final shot of negan and Maggie, I’m kind of confused. It seems negan was already into that idea of being in charge again, even with hershels severed toe. So I’m not really sure what he was thinking after that. Like, he needs to go along with the damas plan so she doesn’t go after Hershel, Ginny, etc? Even tho it seemed like he was gonna go with the plan anyways? And Maggie it seemed like she was gonna go back for negan, but idk what they were implying by her seeing those drawings. Especially the drawing of the dama…..she hasn’t seen her or know who she is or what she did to Hershel. So the close up of Maggie didn’t make much sense…
I really hope they're not setting things up to make the Negan/Dama thing end like thr Negan/Alpha thing. He pretends to join the group in order to gain her trust, only to trick her and kill her. That would be boring to repeat that theme.
@@jake8269 I meant the franchise of TWD , even supernatural has ended and wrapped up with a ending but TWD seems like it's going on & on when u could just burn the corpses of the recently died so they don't become the new walkers.
the only thing i didnt like that much and was even said by Hershel himself in the last episode, Maggie as been focusing ONLY on Negan since her son was born. her character has had no big development since TWD season 7 when in reality, Glenn only died because Daryl disobeyed Negan. in reality Daryl has always been the responsible one for this stupid rrlation that makes Maggie boring af
No, Negan is 100% responsible. I agree that her motivations are one dimensional, but it's not really surprising; you watch your spouse get beaten to death and see where your is head at afterwards.
@@papanurgle8393 i agree with what you are saying, but dedicating later years to finding revenge instead of parenting your fatherless kid properly feels kind of... stupid? under Rick's law and Carl's idea for the future, Negan was put in jail to suffer the consequences of all his actions. it wasn't a matter of Maggie to decide his fate EVEN up to this point which feels like they dragged her character throughout the rest of TWD and now dead city. and tbh, if it wasn't for Rick's group killing a bunch of Negan's men BRUTALLY, let me clear that idea, they wouldn't have been in a similar situation which originally would only result in one death: Abraham's. Daryl's action (i know he was in a bad state of mind) was enough to make the situation worse. and thats why i think the second death was his fault even if it wasn't intentional of him to punch Negan or the consequences of said punch: Glenn's death

Will Gohan ever become the Main character? i am too Hyped for this!
Gohan?
Find out next time on DRAGON BALL Z......
Sounds like a bot
Do you see Gohan in Hershel?😂
@@Strawhat010 at First no, I was just Hyped and felt like a Narrator. But when I say back and thought about it I was sure I was gonna get backlash. The comparison between the two now I can’t ignore lol
I am interested to see the old Negan come and out and play in S2
Let's hope it doesn't become another Heroes.
we got a little taste of the gold negan during the "knock knock" episode...Magie saw it and was terrified.
@@akhsdenlew1861 We sure did and she sure as hell did.
i mean he's only going to come back because he's being forced to, that's not his nature anymore
I love Dama's statement about Politics / "Public News"
100% our current situation; no matter what side you're on.
3rd season: rescue Maggie. lmao.
I am trying very hard to get into this show but I feel like I did the last 4 seasons of TWD
Just tuning in out of habit
3rd Season, Negan & Maggie Gets Into Intimacy & Make Babies.
😂😂😂
She will forgive him.
I really enjoyed this series. At first I didn’t know how focusing on one or two characters (out of the large cast of the main series) in an individual series would work, but it’s very interesting. With that season finale I’m invested in a season 2.
Dead City was great, can't wait for Season 2!🔥💪
@vanpelt2490well the ending of the first season leads to an unfinished story so I’m pretty sure that a s2 of dead city is going to appeared soon
@@itscrypt2008 season 2 is already confirmed
Eh twd is better this is filler
Maggie is gonna save Negan tho right? That's how she's gonna finish it.
Negan is a homicidal maniac who enjoys torturing and killing innocents enough to photograph and save the photos of the carnage he causes he even rapes his harem of wives by coercing them into sex they'd never have otherwise
@@blakedevitt6948yeah I think that’s what Maggie implied by finishing it. Save him and then move on for good.
using the walkers for fuel is literely genius.
I think the spin-offs have been done well. Tight, controlled storytelling, excellent pacing, no filler. Great format for telling stories in TWD universe.
I personally wasn't a fan of Dead City. But the final two episodes were very good. I'm glad they ended it on a high with alot of twists to the story.
Really dig the series and went in every week for the new entry !
Doh I have to say nothing beats the first seasons of TWD, this is quiet nice to watch 🥳
Can’t wait on the Dixon-Spin Off, should be more around the origin of the virus, no ? ✌️
I thought it was the ok. Not great. The sewer walker was pretty amazing & very new & unique. I’m really interested in the Rick series more than anything.
Yea I agree but they have me scared the Rick series will just be more and more seasons.

My issue with Dead City is they hinted at the CRM coming and taking people's resources, but in the Ones Who Live, the CRM has been delt with. So who is the big baddie that will link all the spin offs.
This was the best spin off IMHO . I like the Rick/Michonne and Darryl ones as well
Dead City was definitely great, I enjoyed every bit of it. Bring on Season 2!

I want to see Negan go badass ngl like fully unstrained and actually win, sick of seeing him lose!
Maybe he will win... LoL.
Now negan is the character with the 2nd biggest fanbase in Walking dead.
1st is probably daryl.
Back when he was introduced, he was just a cool villain.
Now he is the main character.
@@akhsdenlew1861I agree, Negan is the goat of the show. This is coming from someone who used to hate him but grew to love him overtime

I am loving this show! It has such psychological context! Awesome!
This is by far the best spin off of the walking dead series!! CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 2!!
In this series I think that Maggie was trying her best to reignite her hatred for Negan so that she wouldn't feel bad about trading him for Hershel.
This is just another S11 rerun
@@dannyhernandez265
So funny how everything thinks Maggie is annoying for hating Negan.
They could all be so much stronger together if they can all get past......the past.
i'm trying to understand how and why maggie left alexandria/commonweath to go to the bricks
Weird how symmetrically lined up their faces are on the split-screen shot.
this series is absolutely interesting to watch and the coming season seems to be really good and can't wait for it..
As 25% Croatian, I can confirm that I act like this 25% of the time
Based
These 6 episodes were better than the entire last 5 seasosn of TWD. Bravo
💯💯💯💯
Yeah walking dead seasons after 5 were pretty much trash.
Facts TWD Season 1-5 Goated
The fact that the characters are going back to who they once were is great! Wonder if when Rick comes back he’s gonna have to be the one to take down the new Saviors and make good on his promise to Negan
Rick show has nothing to do with negan
"And when this guy is the villain, you know you're in for a good time" hahaha true that, that actor ALWAYS plays great antagonists
Negan didn't just kill glenn he did that to at least 20 groups of people
Enjoyed it
And had a harem of women forced into sex under threat which is rape
@@johnmarston1419they weren’t forced. They were his wives.
@RFNY315 that were forced to be his wives
You can leave but you cant cheat is not a wife its a prisoner
Hole 🤣🤣
Clementine doesn't exist in the TV Universe so far
@BlazeNarutoShippuden Yea but she's considered comic canon so still we see those small places through her in what essentially the same world. She may not be official show canon but basically in the same world
They should've kept it like the comic, comic is way way better
And now we know what happened in France due to Daryl Dixon
I really dislike how they have a complete inability to make a season without a "bad guy" or two. Like fuckkk, the conflict and drama should be surviving in the world. Not typical bad guys.
They need to stop with the dramatic relationship and change things up, so many plot holes, so many random events, I wish Negan was planning on taking over the whole time and for the “redemption” to end.
Watched the whole series yesterday can't wait for s2 already, it's so good
not gonna lie, this show would be much better if The Walking Dead (the main show) never existed.
The real crm?
@@RFNY315 meaning non rick lead crm however i wrote that a long time ago and we know now things are different since the ones who live
Love it! It is a whole lot better than the last 3 seasons of the og

I liked it. I’m definitely tuning in for some more.
it will be like villains versus villains (dama vs babilon)
Way better than the main show. I think it’s because it’s more intimate with the characters and rather than focusing on the next major external conflict it’s main focus is more with smaller inner conflicts with just one major overarching external conflict.
i already figured it all out after the walking dead the ones who survive aired. all these side stories are leading up to reuniting with rick and michone and joining the army theres 3 bases so it makes sense. dayril is in one, maggie and whats his name is in another.

I had actually lost interest in TWD a long time ago but when I happened across the trailer for this, it sparked my interest. I don’t know that I’ll care much for the other spin-offs but I definitely love this one. Maggie and Negan are the team up I didn’t know I wanted lol.

Am i the only one that thought the ziplines would be used more often with how much they hyped them up before the show released?
Same lol I was like, uhhh okay? They only used them once?
They're probably going to be more present in future seasons.
I do think Maggie is obsessed with negan more than anything which can cause her to go down dark path
Well the best way to fight the Croat is to introduce a character named The Serb 😂
Oh boy they casted the chick from Ozark, perfect casting for a savior.
Dead City and Daryl Dixon were amazing! Can’t wait for The Ones Who Live involving Rick and Michonne and the Civic Republic
Can someone explain was Hershel involved in dama keeping negan
Looks like it so far, unless they change it next season. Most likely to keep his role now is either to spy (the Croat is a very good torturer) or to keep his mum away from Negan and danger, but they could give him any motivation later. All we know so far is he was with her long enough to draw her, his opinions on a heap of stuff did a complete 180 and his resentment towards his mum is now out in the open.
He IS set up perfectly to take up Dwight's role from the Saviors arc and betray his mother to the Lady though. Do a reverse of their origin stories.
I was thinking Maggie is Negan. A Tyler Durden effect.
When is it coming 2 the UK???😢
It’s in the uk now
Great show love the fast pace dialogs between charachters . And the gritty vibe to it , Maggie really is starting to get more and more annoying 😅but that only means she's playing here part GOOD 👍🏾
Thank God its good. I have been having a hard time holding out hope for the walking deads future
bro! i didnt know there was a dead city, there is also a The ones who live, & Daryl Dixon!! Fear The Walking Dead! The Walking Dead! how am i supposed to keep up now!!
It was great! I can’t wait for more!
Maggie is a villain
"Dama" means Lady in Spanish too
Herschel is litt older now, like a teenager..damn if only Glenn was still around,he will be proud of his son..
Crazy arc where negan and Maggie reverse roles.
Awesome explanation of things, which were not so clear on first sight! The theatre looks like the one in " a clockwerk orange" ^^ cant also wait for the 2nd season 🙂
negan is the best period..
Second season starts with Negan playing rock star murder show on Harlem 🎉🎉🎉 Name the Perfect song: Dancing away myself
I think them figuring out how to use the dead as a fuel source was pretty ingenious.
Never move to a place called New Babylon no matter how much food and safety they provide.........
It was better than I thought it would be. Will be watching season2
I really hope they're not setting things up to make the Negan/Dama thing end like thr Negan/Alpha thing. He pretends to join the group in order to gain her trust, only to trick her and kill her. That would be boring to repeat that theme.
Why?
Wow surprised its still going on 😲

the only thing i didnt like that much and was even said by Hershel himself in the last episode, Maggie as been focusing ONLY on Negan since her son was born. her character has had no big development since TWD season 7 when in reality, Glenn only died because Daryl disobeyed Negan. in reality Daryl has always been the responsible one for this stupid rrlation that makes Maggie boring af
