Loved it! Thank you. Years ago I listened to others about how it was so much easier to understand an NIV compared to KJV so I bought one, payed $52 for it and I studied and studied until one day I was so troubled that I prayed and had a long talk with the LORD and He told me the NIV wasn't His Word. I tore every page out and threw it in the dumpster. Later God told me He wanted me to know why it wasn't his Word. What an amazing journey I took from that point forward. Now I know the How and the Why God told me this. I Praise you God for never leaving me nor forsaking me and for giving me a new life!

The KJV has such a beautiful rythum to it. It’s incomparable to other English versions. It’s beautifully written.

Its beautiful because it is Gods Word and the Holy Spirit bares witness with the truth. All other new age bibles have a deceptive spirit behind them with an agenda to deceive and lead astray. The King James Bible stands alone by itself just like our Lord Jesus Christ stands alone as the one and only true God Amen!

@@newlifeinchrist313 duoy rheims and nkjv arent bad. And, like kjv, they are not led astray by the fake sinaiticus manuscript. Can be good if kjv language confuses someone. And it can occasionally.

I've read a KJV Bible for 38 out of the last 40 years and have no regrets. I believe that it is the most faithful English translation that we have today. It has served the body of Christ well for over 400 years and has been used of God in major revivals and awakenings. The texts behind it were providentially preserved by God. Elizabethan English can be difficult for beginners to come to grips with but the effort to do so is well worth it. The KJV was translated in prose style, making it easy to remember and easy to quote.

I'm an American and only recommend the King James Version for English speakers. Early in American history the KJV played a major role in education. Our culture has only declined since it was removed from the classroom.

Man, did Michael hit the spot when he said "...but that's just because we're messed up, that's all...we're just not very scientific (is) our problem. We're too much into into sentiment and emotion and not enough into reality".
As for "updating", many mean that the Bible ought to reflect modern-day thought with regards to marriage, homosexuality, sexual identity (proponents of which haven't even figured THAT out yet, but they sure want YOU to believe it), and some other things.
If they want to hate God, then fine. Hate Him. But praise God. His word will remain true and steadfast through the ages, forever and ever.

It's amazing to me that no one has tried to change Shakespeare that is studied in high schools and is considered literature, yet modern so-called "woke" pastors lean towards Bible "versions" that either add or subtract from the God-breathed text. Satan loves the CEV which changes him into the morning star (Isaiah 14:12) when Jesus plainly says HE is the bright and morning star (Revelation 22:16).

Probably also change the apostle Paul into a very conceited man and the thorn in the flesh to be sickness that God put on him. Whereas in the KJV, it was Satan that was sending persecution through people against Paul because the work that God was using him to do, was so important, that it makes up much of our new testament.
I've talked to people outside of America, and they love the KJV. Whereas here in the west only, do we have this problem of the KJV being the only Bible viewed to have error in it. Actually, it's more of the fact that modern education passes anybody who can read a second grade level. Whereas, years back, everybody was able to read at the proper level and understanding.
And so, they decided not to try and help people learn how to read and understand, but changed what the Bible said instead.

Every modern counterfeit bible, in the new testament, uses the word slaves instead of the KJV servants. "Slaves, obey your masters" in Ephesians 6. Modern bibles support slavery? The KJV word for slave is bondman. Servant is a word for one who cheerfully obeys his master. All the old testament saints were called servants because they could not be sons until Christ made it possible by dying on the cross, followed immediately by retrieving the saints from Abraham's bosom.
Now how many people have been repulsed by the lies in modern counterfeits?
