The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.
I admit that I feel I am not worthy of Gods gift . I pray that he has mercy on me and greets me as a friend.
Fear God means for me to respect Him as my Almighty King and Father whom I must obey and love.
YES YOU SHOULD FEAR GOD!!!!
HE chastens the ones HE Loves with an iron rod if necessary, even if unto death. Remember your mom saying wait until your father gets home meant you were in big trouble and the chastening and would soon be given with weight, strength and power.
The wisest man who ever lived, Solomon said " Fear God and obey His Commandments. " I submit that it is impossible for a man to obey His Commandments without the fear of God.
you are a gifted Bible teacher, thank you for straight talk and accurate teaching.
Lord have mercy I fear, I fear he may not find me worthy..
I worry my freshly addiction may land me in Hell. Sad part is I have total understanding of his word.
Please pray for me.
Grace & blessings in Jesus's precious name.
💕🕊💕
God's grace is sufficient for you, Holy Spirit comfort you.
Praise God for this message still circulating for 3 years. One way to see fearing God is like a child fears his parent's in a big crowd of strangers, the child keeps its eyes on the parent fearing if not it might get lost.
Fear of God and knowledge that you as a person are accountable to that God is what would keep a person in morality.
Almost. Fearing the judgment will make us try to be good. And then learn that we cannot (with help from the Holy Spirit convicting us). And that we need a Savior.
Then we come to believe He truly literally died and rose. *And can save*
Then we are counted as righteous for believing. Then we walk in the Spirit and have love and freedom.
Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed.
If a person is living in willful sin YES They should be in ABSOLUTE TERROR. Just like when u were a child and u did something wrong and u were waiting on dad to get home.
Thank you Pastor.
God bless you.
You are a bless pastor and great teaching and God Bless you and all ❤️🤗
Besutifully spoken sermon . Blessings 🙏 ♥ 👑 🕊
You have opened my eyes. I follow your preaching for you are very easy to understand. You are clear and true and I appreciate that. JESUS guide me to you and I am happy with what I see. I have come to the Father's love and I fear him, and respect him he is the almaighty one. I surely needed God when I was young but I am trying to make amends in Jesus name. Have a blessed day and keep up with your preaching.
If we do not fear God there is no hope for us
Amen! Well explained brother!
Amen brother! There is definately a lack of fear of God in America today. In and out of Christian churches. God's wrath is real, just, and terrible to behold.
Fear begets repentance and wisdom. God's mercy in itself is a loving restraint of His wrath. His work on the cross is to redeem believers from the wages of sin and death. How foolish it is not to fear almighty God!
Very well said
Thank you for the message. Pease to you
The only fear in my life is that of God in judgment of me in life (BUT) I love God and Jesus more then the fear of God,By the blood of Jesus I/we are saved.Amen
Well in Portuguese we have two words to fear... "Medo" and "temor" the first one means fear and hate the same feeling that you got when someone threat you or something like that. And the second one, temor, os the same fear or respect that you shall have with your parents or master... Probably the translation for English isn't the best because this little diference is critical to understand the frist commandment
Isaiah 11 and Acts 9 :)
God said, If you fear me ,, keep my commandments,,,,, this is not a threat, but rather a supplication to correction of the way in which you do error by not keeping them,,,,,,, fear and love run side by side,,,,,,we should fear the loss of his love for us,,, with out His love the fear of the loss of hopelessness becomes overpowering of our spirit,,,,be yea blessed for as long as you keep His commandments,,, you are no longer under the curse, but an heir to the promises of God.
Hold to heart KJV John19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar,he said IT IS FINISHED:and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. Then when he resurrected he said in Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead;and behold,I am alive for evermore,Amen; and have the keys of hell and death. In 1:17 he said FEAR NOT;I am the first and the last:Amen Amen Amen Believe in Jesus in the blood Atonement the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and you are saved.Amen Amen Amen.
Matthew 10:28 & Matthew 4:7 the words of our Lord who knows...
Get a kjv. And for those occasional cases the wording confuses, have nkjv too. (NKJV does not use sinaiticus like the bs versions).
You should have no fear of disease, you should fear and respect God and respect the adversary, Michael did not rebuke Satan, Michael said The Lord Rebuke you. That says a lot because I have no idea how powerful Michael is, but I believe he only fears God, but he would not be disrespectful of Lucifer.
Some people say their fear of God gets in the way of their love for God. I dont get why this would be an issue, one does not have to conflict with the other, I fear Him just as much as I love Him.
I hear many believing that love is growing in is and faith is growing in us? I do not see or read about this in Scripture? Do you?
Read the story of Abraham and Isaac. Fearing God leads to obedience
Actually you don't have to ask a human being for this answer because Jesus said it
"FEAR not men who are able to kill the body, but rather fear God who is able to destroy the soul and Body in hell."
People I WAS SHOCKED, i found out that GOD destroys unrepentant sinners in Hell (not the devil)
Jesus said GOD DESTROYS...
That fear caused me to FLEE SIN and beg for forgiveness and REMAIN OBEDIENT TO GOD FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
One of the first words from an Angel or Jesus to the people is "Fear Not". Then why are we trying do the opposite of what heavens wants us to do. Can any one us evil Fathers want our children to be afraid of us. No certainly not. Then how dare we think of our loving heavenly Father differently
A baby's only fear is falling everything else is taught we came from God do you think that the angels taught us not to fall and fail our lord
mr. pearl, in this video on "should i fear God?" you bring out wisdom about fear. yet you mention that you yourself have reached a place of acceptance with God. does that means you don't fear him?? please explain

I love this guy but I have to say... it says do not fear who can kill (slay, physically end the life of) your body but cannot kill your soul (man).. then Jesus switches words to say fear who can DESTROY(actually destroy, obliterate) both body AND soul in hell...
This guy doesn't believe yet that the bible clearly states souls will not unjustly burn forever so he changes it to "place your soul and body in hell" but Jesus specifically said, even in the original language, the word for "destroy" as in utterly delete...uncreate..ashes..no longer existent..
Fear God? YES because "fear of God is the foundation of wisdom" but also love and believe in and seek a personal relationship with God through Jesus ALSO YES because we are saved by grace and God is Good in all He does even things we don't understand...
He is still Worthy where we are not.. but no part of me can accept how evil it would be to intentionally keep even person alive just to burn them alive forever. ..... .....
Literally FOR EVER just to watch.... I mean... that's worse than anything any human is capable of doing to deserve any punishment let alone that........
What do you do with these verses then ?
Revelation 14:9-11
[9]And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[10]The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11]And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
When a noun proceeds a preposition, then that noun belongs to the noun that follows the preposition
Ex:
son of pamela =pamela's son
Fear of God = God's fear
We are not to fear God, we are to have the fear OF God. In other words, we should fear what God fears.
Can a Christian become a hypocrite and no longer fear God can he still be saved after you get saved
Yes, but the LORD will definitely hold any Saved believer who's being hypocritical accountable, and that feeling is a horrible feeling.
When we receive the HOLY SPIRIT, we are sealed until the day of redemption. Once Saved Always Saved is Biblical, so there's no losing your Salvation after GOD has gifted it to you.
Hope this answers your question?
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
~ Romans 10:9-10
For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
~ Romans 10:13
"In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory."
~ Ephesians 1:13-14
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
~ Ephesians 2:8-9
"He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit."
~ Titus 3:5
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
~ Galatians 2:20-21
"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
~ 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
~ John 3:16-18
"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”
~ John 10:28-30
