New Iron in Action | John Deere 6250R, Fendt 720 & 724 Vario S4 | Dieleman Slootdorp

If you like shiny new iron in action this is a clip for you! We find ourselves at Dutch contractor Dieleman - Slootdorp who were busy during late May ploughing and drilling a crop of lucerne (alfalfa). Three new tractors were used for this task. Firstly a John Deere 6250R with an Italian build ER.MO 6-furrow on-land plough. This is one of the first in Holland. Second the furrows are power harrowed using a Fendt 720 Vario S4 and Maschio power harrow. The crop is then drilled using a Fendt 724 Vario S4 with Accord twin-front hopper, 6m Maschio and Accord disc coulter drill.
The lucerne crop is grown for specialist feed company Hartog Abbekerk. The soil in this big field is quite variable as you can see and located in Slootdorp, Wieringermeer NL.
