Caught a 4.65 lb LM on Monday with the 6" Magdraft!!!! Best day ever!! They absolutely crushed the Magdraft!!
Mag draft a good one!???
Dude love how you break down your technique literally to a science. Liked and subbed!
Congrats on the wedding Johnny! Have a blast! We’ll be here waiting for more great content when you get back!
Great Video Jonny, finding and catching is what we all hope too do. Your details make all the difference, thank you !!
Congrats on the wedding, Johnny! Great video as always.
Hey Jonny, great vid! These are the ones I really love. I love the on the boat vids watching the techniques produce! This vid is an information overload which is great. I will watch this one several times. Congrats on getting married as well! God bless you both!
very incredible your attention to the detail and the analysis you did with contours, and wind combination!
Honestly one of the best educational teachers on UA-cam. Ignore all the trolls, I enjoy the detailed sessions. Wish you were closer so I can ask for a guiding trip!
Killed it Jonny. Great video and day on the lake. Thank you!!!
OMG. I hate fishing in wind...Especially as a Kayak fisher! After this video, I feel I have a technique to learn and practice something new, even when there is wind! Thanks! Congrats on the wedding!
Congrats my dude. You put out the best videos.
Man you cleared up what i was doing wrong on a day just like that thx, and congratulations
There are some outliers to the cloudy day rule for swimbaits. In Blue Back Herring lakes (because those herring seem to come out in the open on sunny days, opposite of shad) you can catch them mid day on sunny days on the lower clear side of the lake, in deeper water with SB's. But I completely agree with you for the majority of lakes in the southeastern US. Like you say, "fish the moment" on your lake, however it fishes! As always buddy, great content!
Good stuff Johnny, you got the game plan!!
Love hearing your thoughts on how to locate fish and how to adjust. Congratulations to you and your bride
Great info thanks! And congratulations!

Congratulations brother!!
Really appreciate your explanation of why the fish are located in certain areas and how to make changes in your technique and baits to keep catching them. Congrats on your marriage, it’s a great life, celebrating with my wife on 50 years in November! May the Lord bless your life together!,
Congrats man. Marrige is an amazing thing.

Dude congrats on the nuptials!!!
Well done. It's all about decisions
Congrats on getting married !!! And thanks for the swimbait info !
Congratulations with the marriage. As always very informative videos.
Congratulations!
very very good
Congratulations 🎊
Congratulations 🎣
I sometimes commit 10-12 hours to the big baits and won't get a bite. However, when I do it's always so rewarding. Once in a great while in the spring I can go out with an 8 inch bait and put fish in the boat all day. Those are the best days. Lol.
Conga-Rats on the wedding sir!!!
Such specific conditions to pick up on. I would have missed those, especially from the bank
Great video man, but definitely get the magdraft freestyle, its weedless.
Congratulations Johnny . Hope she is a fisher
Great tips! God bless! God is good!
Congratulations, can you talk a little bit about drop shot fishing. I fish the northeast and the guy’s in my club win a lot of tournament’s doing it but I find it incredibly painful to do all day. How can I compete? Thanks
Good work, keep it up. By the way, may I know what action rod you're using? High, Medium, Low ?
Great video as usual. Congrats on getting married!
Congrats on your wedding!
Congratulations on your marriage! Have some great time off. We’ll be here when you get back. 👌🏼👍🏼
Really find you electronics videos very helpful . Have you ever tried the 6th Sense Sweep swim bait? I wanting to know more swim baits of any sort. But I know the Magdraft is $13.00 each and the Sweep is 2 for $13.00 FYI
Are you going to do any map break downs on Florida lakes? Harris chain maybe.
Did you notice your mag draft rolling when reeling it in? I fished mine for the first time Saturday and I couldn’t get the retrieve right and I noticed it turning on it’s side a lot.
Congrats on the marriage!!!
Congratulations on your Wedding!
Try the mega bass Dark Sleeper doing the same thing. I cast up to the gravel and drag it out
Congratulations on the wedding! Hope the new bride likes to fish. Thanks for the informative videos. See ya on the Rock someday.
God bless you on your wedding! I hope you have a lifetime of fishing fun together.
What is your go-to wacky rig hook?
When the conditions change to little to no wind and a brighter sky, what would you switch to?
How many batteries powering the trolling motor and what kind
I need help learning how to fish Beaver lake but I don’t know how to contact you. Beaver is my home lake, unfortunately.
Married? Lucky Bride.
Wishing you Two the Very Best.
Thank you for such informative videos.
Be well.
On the phone with Mom, best of times.
How do your trolling motor withstand all that wind?
Although I am a graduate alumnus of the U of A, I wouldn’t wear a red colored sweatshirt while fishing. Bold colors are easily seen by fish and therefore they can see a person wearing them. Just like matching the hatch, match the background environment with your clothing. Gray on cloudy days, blue on bluebird days. Razorback sweats come in gray too!
Congrats on getting married. God Bless and thanks for the footage
Nice vid Johnny - when you say a "45 deg. bank" are you talking about how steep it is ?? :-)
Yes sir. The bank angle is 45 degrees
Is that the 6" or 8" Megabass Magdraft?
LOLZZZ😂🤣😅🤭🤤....@ 1:47....that what was up shallow??....you know what it sound like you said was up shallow again right Jonny? ...'that b---- was' ....that's who...bwah hahahahahh😄😆
Thanks for your valuable time and information 👍
God Bless 🙌 on your Wedding 💑
Congrats on your wedding
Enjoyed the video very informative but please stop holding your catches horizontal by their jaw. This can result in an injured or broken jaw on the fish and can be fatal to the fish. Either keep them vertical or support the body. Keep up the good work.
I agree 100%. Just imagine being held sideways by your bottom jaw
Imagine eating a cheese burger and then being dragged out the restaurant by a hook in the roof of your mouth 😂
Before this goes south, I agree with you both. I just couldn’t help but acknowledge the irony. Tight lines fellas!
I’d say step up to a heavy rod and 18 lb to 20lb line. I just broke a MH today fishing a 6inch mag draft. Never broke a rod before. I was then treated to a jump show , while the fish tried to shake my magdraft. Missed my pb ten minutes before. Hookset wasn’t the greatest (I was hookset shy because I had just snagged my lure. I set the hook and she jumped and shook my magdraft right out. I. Wanted to cry. Ordered 3 more right after breaking my rod. These things are legit.
Pretty ominous that a local Magdraft video shows up after I've been slamming them in the same area, the last 2 months...(just jerking your chain) Including a new PB 9.5lbs largemouth on the 8".
