My boys and I love our Salomons. I do find the trail pattern soles wear out rather quick, so I am of a mind that one has to budget for regularly replacing the shoes.
Found this series at about ep.55 and I've been countdown-binge-watching episodes and included the newer episodes and I don't know what to do when I finish ep.1
Hey Bryan, not sure if you've addressed this before, but could you talk about different ways of accessorising a FAST helmet? Covers, rail attachments, scrim, NVG mounts and different purposes for them, etc, is what I have in mind. Thanks in advance!
Awesome videos as always. Gearsnob I am, buy once cry once. So I compared the M9 vs the Chinook Medical and I ended up going with Chinook TMK operator bag. I didn't feel that everything fit as well as I hoped. After I spent hours on it. Someone broke into my truck and stole it. Now I'm looking at the M9 and someway to lock it down to my truck by a pelican case or bike cable. I have one trauma bag in each car at all times and this bag will be my primary. Oh btw if you have a HSA plan or FSA a first aid kit is a qualified medical expense if you know what I mean.
There isn't a lot of ice to climb in Texas? Where I used to live in VT there's a waterfall over a lake that always freezes and every year there's a ton people climbing it. Just because I'm curious what did you do in the military?
that is a large alice, as you say. there is a cool overlooked feature to the medium alice. there are cords and d rings in the main compartment that allow you to "suck up" the pack to make more of a day pack. do you not like the term "bug out bag" because your more a fan of buggin in? or is there another reason?
I was interested in the M9 pack until I looked it up and saw the price. I'd be interested in seeing your take on good 'budget' options for some of these items. $320 is a bit much for my budget for something that i'll hopefully rarely (if ever) use.
That's more than an "extra few dollars". A less-expensive pack that would do the same thing would be great for those of us who are prepping on a budget.
0:00 Oh, that's how Escape from Tarkov works!
Can you go through medic bag and make a list of all the things inside the medic bag?
Way to Go! I joined CERT last year. Retired as a volunteer firefighter but I wanted to still help out in a disaster!

Eberlestock is an incredible modern military pack.
Purpose built for an intended purpose !

I really hope you go over the M9 bag. I'm always looking for ideas to bulk up the medical side of things.
Could the haley flatpack be used as a road bike pack? does it stay on well by itself even though it has no frontal clip?
Have you ever posted a video about the GORUCK GR2 and the contents?
So what's a better sole for hiking up a steep mountain trail grade? Do you want a flexible soul or a stiff soul? Thanks!
please review the GR1 and GR2 setup when you get chance.
That M9 pack is getting very close to what I want for my med kit, but I want to be able to carry a D cylinder in it too.
Looking for a new day pack. Any suggestions?
im really interested in the Salomon Techamphibian and just wanted to ask if you had any issues with chafing or blisters
"I'm thinking of updating my military ALICE pack..." about damn time!
Thumbs up for the intro! Always funny, and informative!
i'm curious about the LBT 8 pocket lightweight rucksack
You should take a look to eberlestock backpack a lot more quality then mystery ranch more versatil and durable
Love my Eberlestock 3 day pack and my Grey Ghost gear and Tactical Taylor one day packs as well
Gearqueers don’t like eberlestock because they’re so over-engineered to last, that they weigh an extra 4 ounces.
Doosh Bagg Lol perhaps he should consider hitting the gym then 😂
Yo dawg your vids are always dope. Very informative

LoL That intro was great!
Tactical Tailor MALICE pack, modified ALICE MTN RUCK
I'm thinking, Turducken.
Great video, great products, and GOD DAMN EXPENSIVE all of them! :)
Why didn't you show the last bag you pulled out, the small multicam one?
If u still want to know what it is/don't know, it is by Haley Strategic (can't remember what it is called but you'll know when you see it) :D
its a haley strategic flat pack
Alice was replaced with MOLLE and then MOLLE 2. I almost want to put in a FLIPO for my MOLLE ruck and burning it.
Tactical Tailor will do upgrades for ALICE packs and BDS Tactical has straps and a kidney pad upgrade.
is he a seal ? And does some one know which watch he is wearing :?
btw great video :)
is your LBT ThreeDay in coyote brown?
I think it's their mas grey color, but don't quote me.
+squinks magee think you might be right, the yellow lightning probably gives it the brown hue
+Suburbannite ya hes right, its featured in gear tasting #13
Would be VERY interested in seeing the contents of your "bug-out-bag" in another #geartasting!
