i think what's key is, no one is always motivated, that's just not possible. the important thing is to be dedicated and consistent, even on days where the motivation is just not there. cause after a workout/time outside etc. you ususally feel better, that thought helps as well for me personally :) love your videos derek!
I am so happy to see that you always wear a helmet when you ride! It's important to protect your head, coming from a head injury survivor. You only get one head, and it is an amazing amount of work to overcome an injury that may affect you for your remaining life.
I love that you get outside even when it's cold out. That breakfast wrap looks so delicious. I think I have all of those ingredients. I think I will make that for breakfast tomorrow.
For a Mexican style burrito if anyone wants this. Black beans Mixed taco beans (if you’re in the Uk you can get these in tesco for like 40p or so) Rice (of choice) Tofu (season with spices or a nice sauce) Do pretty much the same here. And add greens if you choose. As a side probably edamame’s and some other veg and you’re set. This is more for lunch or dinner but still If you’re busy. Make maybe 7 or so, store them in the freezer. When you want to eat one. Just microwave for 4 mins. Or cook in the oven for 15-20 mins on 200 degrees celsius Also really great video. I always love these types of video :)

I love your channel Derek! You are so upbeat, and I love the banter between you and Crystal. And it is great that even when you have the blahs you go ahead and do some sort of exercise! Your right- it's so worth it. When I lived in Upper Michigan I walked to my workplace most days, even in winter. It was 2 miles away. If I debated it I would talk myself out of it. So I would just do it without tbinking about it. I would feel super energized for the day. And after work I had the walk home to decompress after the workday. However I had a 8 degree temperature rule. If it was less than 8 degrees it wasn't happening!

I cannot explain why it's taken me 3+ years on this plant based plan to try a tofu scrambled. I just never thought it would compare to scrambled eggs, which I really enjoyed - I was so wrong. It was all in the seasoning and soft texture tofu that you suggested. I added previous oven roasted, diced potatoes to my scramble and a side salad. Thanks again Derek for your inspiration and so much more.

BRO These turned out waaay better than I was ready for. All I did different was subbed red onion for sweet, left out cumin and mushrooms, and used 1tbsp olive oil with some water to sautee. Best tofu scramble I've ever had.
You mentioned seeing California images of the beach and people’s instagrams. I live in Nor California and a few weeks back it was so horrible and depressing here with all the smoke from the Camp Fire. I was literally wearing an N95 mask to go outside and walk my dog. I was looking for positive things to stay up as it was tough. Your videos showing hikes in the clean air and water in Canada helped to remind me there were still beautiful places and the bad weather would pass. So thanks for all your videos. They are very good and motivational. Also cool bike upgrades. You’re ready to do some cyclecross.

I made my version of this today I swear I didn't change it much🤏🏾 I used extra firm tofu (marinated it in all the spices for about an hour while I ran to the store) as I didn't have any medium tofu and all red bell pepper as I didn't have green. I added organic kale and grape tomatoes and a touch of creole seasoning... YOU GUYS IT WAS SOOOOOOOO DANG GOOOOOODDDDDD😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 I tried a tofu scramble when I first went vegan about a year ago and I was not feeling it at all and haven't really had the desire to try it again😒 I tried this recipe and I'm hooked!! Derek always has some 💣 recipes! 🔥 this one is a definite MUST TRY #SIMNETTAPPROVED #JASMINEAPPROVED👍🏾👍🏾
I am a Lyft Driver and I do a lot of driving and I don't get enough exercise like I used to. I have an ankle issue from surgery year's ago. I keep a jump rope in my trunk and I stretch my legs and back. I drink more water and drink coffee sometimes. If I don't have time to cook I make a quest Vanilla smoothie with chocolate almond milk but now with coconut water CO2 brand. I have been eating arugula salad with frozen shrimp, smoked salmon or panned fried (olive, coconut oil) small fish patties, little feta cheese I also flash fry some arugula to give my salad crunch and it tastes so good.

Yesss! Loved this Derek!! Biking is my absolute favorite!! You get to exercise while you're sitting down! WHat more could you want?! Ha! Seriously though! I do miles every week with my four boys around town while my vegan husband is working. I pull the twins in a bike trailer AND have my baby up front on a bike seat that attaches to my bike! That's FOUR people on one bike! Feels so good! Also those wraps looked so flavorful!! I could eat three of those myself! For sure!

I do miles every week with my four boys around town while my vegan husband is working. I pull the twins in a bike trailer AND have my baby up front on a bike seat that attaches to my bike! That's FOUR people on one bike! Feels so good! Also those wraps looked so flavorful!! I could eat three of those myself! For sure!
