24:00 won the battle and I love SU band but ASU has stepped it up and they were ready dance girls and all. Camera was closer to SU so of course they sound louder. However the variation of all instruments in the band for each song arrangement was absolutely amazing by ASU. Great job an amazing battle.

I like the way ASU playing within their sound and not trying to out blast SU and their arrangements are very nice but SU most definitely blasting on them with pure power and precision. Indeed a good battle and hats off to the recorder, good sound and video quality.

Watching this again I still give it to SU. They sound better as a whole. ASU wasn't playing though. Their song selection was on point. The execution wasn't there fully. There were some pitch issues and missed notes. SU had those issues too but far less frequently. ASU is coming up though.

Articulation and phrasing is Southern's Sousaphone issue. at least to me. Some of the parts they played werent separated enough to hear the attack clearly. They got plenty of power, but they're not clean with it.
