I love all the color combinations. ❤ Both if you are just great showing the different yarn colors and stitches. Especially the granny square. Keep up the good work.
I absolutely love the last sample, that would make a lovely tree skirt for an old fashioned Christmas tree… would love if you made a pattern/tutorial for that yarn in a tree skirt!
@@shannonmorrison8055 that’s a great idea! I just bought a bunch of red,, white metallic yarn at hobby lobby to make my first Christmas blanket but a tree skirt would be perfect
I am a great Herrschners customer for many many years. They have awesome Herrschner brand yarn. They have incredible customer service, a Smart Saver Club, numerous specials. GO CODY AN GRANDMA❤ AND GO HERRSCHNRRS🎉😊❤
that granny square is beautiful and I am with you for the Victorian yarn 100% it's beautiful, and makes me wanna make a blanket wow beautiful. and you go Cody good idea wow
Hello Glenda and Cody 🌻 💖 😊! The "Holiday Elegance" is my favorite. They are all pretty to me & I would have to Color Control mine or else it would drive me nuts with the way it turns out without Controlling those Color's. Loving these Samples & Thank Y'all so very much 💖💖💖😊!
I love the video. You’re always asking me if we are inspired with the swatches. Thanks to this and the Fruit Bunny video. I realize I could use a couple holiday bunny or bears since it’s a medium weight yarn. Frosty is my favorite. Sending prayers, love, and hugs.
Wow, the granny square really makes the colors pop. The pinkish round in the middle even looked whiter on camera. Would love to see the vintage Christmas color worked up into a granny too. Thanks Cody….awesome samples! 🥰
Hi Glenda & Cody. Thanks Cody for the sample swatches of the holiday yarn. I love what you did w/ the Holly Berry yarn when you made that granny square. My favorite was the ripple stitch sample made w/ the Holiday Elegance yarn. I like the colorways & agree that it looks very Victorian. I was also happy to learn that you can't feel the tinsel in the yarn which would keep me from making anything w/it. ❤️
Wow beautiful swatches. I love the yarns. Holiday elegance swatch was great. They would all look good in the wavy pattern. I like the holiday elegance but also frosty. Thanks.
I love the blue maybe in a different pattern but they are all nice colors just finding the right stitch hmm, thank you for the video it is great to see them worked up like this to see if you want to buy them for what you are wanting to make
Fabulous idea - pulling out the yarn and cutting off each color section, balling them up and crocheting a granny square...that's a gorgeous granny square. I may be biting off more than I can chew, but I'd like to do a hexie granny square cardigan with this in mind.
I am currently working up the Victorian Christmas one without the sparkle added. I am using the modern granny in a rectangle and it is so beautiful. The chains between help disguise abrupt changes in color and also quiets big pools of repeated colors that occur as you turn the work...
Blue is my favorite color. I would do it with the ripple type stitch. The blue one would also take you through the winter. The others were Christmas colors. Thank you both.
The gray looked silver! Very pretty! I didn't like the pink-looking white. Granny square is very pretty!! The vintage look sparkle is beautiful!! That stitch and yarn is my favorite!!
Good morning. Is 5:30 AM Saturday morning, and I am watching this for at least the second time just to see that gorgeous granny Square. Is one of the prettiest Christmas squares I have ever seen. Cody, you did an excellent job of showing that yard off to its best advantage. Thanks again for these great videos. And I enjoyed alive, although I am always late to the party. This channel is one of my favorites. I especially enjoy seeing the two of you together. I get it, because I am very close to my grandsons. I’d rather be with them than just about anybody in this world. They ranging age from 28 down to 18, and the last four our brothers. I only wish their grandfather were here to see what wonderful young men they have grown to be.❤
These videos are so great showing these stitch patterns. I love this last one and that great granny square. Oh I agree with the last one being a granny square. It would look gorgeous. Love seeing all these yarns and how they look in different stitch patterns.
Excellent samples, Cody. You two have inspired me to buy more yarn! Then I’m going to have even more crocheting to do. Unending joy! Thank you so much!!
Hi Glenda & Cody, I'm not a granny square person so I know that I won't take the time to cut the yarn up to make one. I do like the way it looks though. I'm still in love with the blue & wonder how it would look worked up like you did with the victorian yarn... I too wonder how those yarns would look done C2C.
Cody, Loving the granny square. Didn't think I would like the Holly Berry color. I was sure that I would like the Holiday Elegance best. Now I in the mood for some Christmas granny squares. Good Job!!
I liked the last one best. Think the blues would look pretty in that pattern too. Just wish the yarn companies wouldn’t use that stark white in variegated yarns ! IMO it throws everything off.
I love the sparkle yarn. Thank you Glenda, thank you lady.
Thank you Cody.😊
I like the last one and with that pattern. Holiday Elegance.
Love the last sample in the vintage looking yarn.
I love all the color combinations. ❤ Both if you are just great showing the different yarn colors and stitches. Especially the granny square. Keep up the good work.
Wow that last sample is amazing and truly vintage Christmas colors. I love that yarn in that stitch pattern.
All of these would look wonderful with a Granny square and ripple tree skirt
The vintage Christmas colors were my favorite too. ❤

Do you have a tutorial for thr ripple christmas sparkle sample .?
Well Glenda, you did a great job teaching Cody how to crochet. Well Done You Cody!
I've found that the Suzette stitch & the Wattle stitch patterns work well with self stripping yarns. They are both quick & easy patterns.
