Wavy is a type of curly hair, just like kinky and coily are tighter ones. Don't ever listen to the curly gatekeepers
Agreed!😋
i mean i have curly hair(3a 3b) and i don't care for people calling their wavy hair curly.
if ur happy im happy🥰
@Laila Noin the thing is that there isn't really a type 3 since the range from 3a and 3c is so big. i just say 3a 3b to tell people when they can't see my hair. but i don't identify my hair factually as 3a 3b since there are more factors like density, porosity and more.
anyways, i hope y'all stay safe out here♥️🦋
Awe!!! That is sweet and now I know I do have wavy/curly hair. EMBRACING NOW
Yes agree
I think the sweetest thing in this video is that you and your stepdad bonded over hair products lol
Haha yes!! He’s so great 🥰
You’re the first person I’ve come across that has the same hair type as I do which is really hard to find. Im so happy I found your channel :)
Yay!🖤
ME TOOO i am so happyyy like finaly someone that can help me out❤️❤️
Me too! I did a chop in early 2016 and had to figure something out...hence my discovery of curly girls. I've got it under control but it's nice to finally FINALLY find someone with similar hair to mine. I need to use more gel.
I’m dead the middle school side bangs with crunchy waves 😂 our pics are the exact same hahahaha
😂😂
I think every curly girl that lived thru the early 2000’s, subjected their hair to that style😂 Wtf were we thinkin!?
Erin Elle for real 😂
Was it really the 2000s without crunchy curls and straight side bangs?!?
Steleesi lmao 😂
that picture of you wearing a headband straight across your forehead brings me back omg, yall remember how Random we were back then??
😂😂 for real!!
UA-cam recommendations are not crappy all the time! I'm so glad I got here. I have binge watched your videos and I haven't ever gone "damn that be me" so many times as I did here.
Awh yay! Thank you so much for watching!🥰
Finally I found someone with my hair texture! This is so helpful. Thank you 😊
Naya Bell Awh yay! No problem! Thanks for watching🖤🖤
When my hair is weird, I do a cleansing shampoo to strip any build up and use a mask either strengthening or moisturizing depending on how my hair feels, that usually fixes it
I'm so happy I found you! Finally someone who's hair looks like mine! And also colors their hair! And I love your vibe😊
marjolein mellema Awh thank you!🖤 happy to have you🎉🎉
finding your videos has been so encouraging!! my hair literally looks like your before pictures and i’ve been trying to figure out what to do!!
I stopped using heat at the start of lockdown. My natural wave came back surprisingly quickly! Haven’t used heat in almost 3 months and my hair feels amazing. I’m really loving it! ❤️
That’s awesome!🤗
hahahaha “i would literally sit in class and pull out my split ends” YES SAME ALL THE TIME
I went through the same thing I used to straight my hair every time that I got out of the shower for years and then I chopped it off because it was really damaged even though I cut my hair it was frizzy and kinda wavy and I used to brush my hair when it was dry but now I have curly hair not even wavy but curly I was really really happy when I first saw my hair curly without even using heat and thanks to my friend for telling me to telling me to try the curly hair method because back then I had no idea my hair would be naturally curly, and I think it's really cool to see people go through the same thing as I did
I haaated the CGM. Sure my hair was more 3a but I'd rather feel clean and have more volume and be 2c! However my hair really hates bleach haha, I'm growing out my highlights.
Yes same! I’d rather like the way my hair feels and looks then follow specific rules. It never worked for me 🤷🏻♀️
girl following the CGM doesn't mean you gotta leave your hair dirty! i wash it once a week (sometimes more sometimes less) and it's enough for me cuz my hair is so damn dry and never gets oily (YES even after a week) but if my hair would get oily or dirty in 2 days you bet i'm washing it every 2 days!
SAME! the CGM makes my hair SOOO crunchy! i wash my hair every 2/3 days so it wasn't ideal anyways
@@ninanini5049 It just always felt heavy and weird, I prefer the squeaky clean feel. I washed it about every 3 days.
@@kaellikesleaks6148 Oh have you heard of "scrunch out the crunch"? The gel and/or mousse leaves a cast on your hair, which makes your hair feel hard. But by scrunching your hair again, you can get rid off the cast😁 Sidenote, doesn't work if you're using the wrong product😬 I used to use homemade flaxseed gel with sugar for extra hold, sure the waves were amazing, but my roots looked and felt sooo dirty. That product wasn't it for me. So now I'm accepting my hair won't be as wavy with the flaxseed gel, but it doesn't look dirty anymore. That's more important to me than having "perfect" waves😌
I can related to all of the same things you went through over time! At 31 I just realized I have wavy hair, not just frizzy, poofy, dry, ugly hair! I do follow a lot if the CG method but you have to do what works for you 😊 i just bought kinky curly knot today so ill try that out, otherwise Jessicurl rockin ringlets used with spiralicious is awesome on my hair! I do use a diffuser on medium heat for better definition & hold. I've been looking for a wavy like you sharing your story, all I've found are wavies that also have tighter curls, so i cant totally relate to them. Please keep sharing videos, I'm loving it!
That’s awesome! 🖤
I really want to THANK YOU for recommending protein to encourage waves!
My hair is low maintenance and very soft, but it’s honestly so soft that my waves fall out. The very first gel I used has lots of protein and my hair loved it, but I didn’t understand why, so I never knew what to look for.
I definitely don’t need more moisture but BOY OH BOY did I need protein. Once again, thank you ! That makes SO much sense ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yay! That’s so awesome I’m glad I could help🖤
obsessed with you you’re so adorable!!
So happy to find someone with the same hair type as me 🙌🏻 I'm currently into my 2nd week of transitioning to my natural hair and let me tell you the frizz is killing me! Thank you for your vid. Subscribed XO
No problem! Glad I can help 🥰
I am so glad I found your channel! And believe I am on my way to my curly hair journey. I have noticed for a while that my hair just seems to LOVE curl, and if I don’t brush it after i shower, it has a little wave going 😂 I’m pretty sure my hair is wavy but I’m gonna stop brushing it as soon as I get out of the shower and let my hair do it’s thing...see if my hair has more potential to actually be naturally wavier than it already is.
It’s a struggle to keep my hair moisturized. I live in a dry climate, my hair is always frizzy, and high porosity (just found that out) but I’m gonna try protein treatments (discovered this recently too 🙈 ) as I have a lot of split ends. It seems like such a battle to figure out hair and maintain/find/keep a healthy routine but I won’t give up! Your story was inspiring and I’m so glad you shared it!! Gonna check out your other hair videos!! ❤️
We need an updated curly hair journey!
Even though you didn't like the way your hair looked when it was long and black where you were wearing the blue lipstick I think you look great there. I know our cells renew every 7 years so that's probably why your hair changed. My hair is pretty random, but it tends to be wavier the shorter it is, and straighter when it's long and not layered.
Omg we have some of the same pictures I swear 😂 straight side bangs and the crunchy crispy curls with the Christopher drew forehead headband!
Morgan Storm omg!😂
Literally my hair journey right here. So glad I found you!
Wishing i had met you back in middle or high school I straightened my hair until I had split ends and did the same breaking off of the ends as you. It wasn't until my mid thirties that I actually started learning my hair was wavy. I had no one who understood my hair texture and everyone I knew had straight hair. I can totally relate to what you're saying
Love your hair color, this helped me a lot
My hair is curly too , and by straightening it so much the waves are different but at times I do like to wear it natural but it tends to look puffy 🥺
I just found you from your haircut video. I binged and subscribed. Your parents are adorbs.
really loved this video! you are so beautiful! your hair journey sounds a lot like mine and i'm just starting, so we shall see but i definitely think i have a bit of a wave to it. when i went to your how i got my curls back video i was like omg wow i've seen this before! you look so different in a great way! thank you so much for this video, thoroughly enjoyed your journey :)
Julie Camille thank you so much for watching! I actually get told all the time I look so different in all of my videos lol I think I change my look up too much and I’m consuming people 😂 definitely let me know how your journey goes! More people have wavier hair than they think 🤗
Have you tried clarifying your hair? Usually, product buildup and over moisture leads your hair to get weighed down as you mentioned and what a lot of people with wavy/curly/coily hair is clarify their hair which means they strip the hair from all those products and just excessive moisture and give your hair a fresh new start. I'm not an expert at this whatsoever as I am also starting out my journey, but I know some UA-camrs with wavy/curly hair have either used ACV rinse or a sulfate shampoo to do this. You should look into it more, maybe it can help with the weighed down problem too.
Lydia Lopez yeah I clarify probably once A month! I think I’m just over applying products to my scalp bc I never had this issue when I had longer hair bc I’d focus the product on the length and then on top of that I’m trying new products and some of them are too heavy for my hair. But yes I agree clarifying definitely helps!🖤🖤
love your hair, hope mine hair get that amazing when it get long enough
I have the same hair as you. I always wore them straight and I didn't know they can get nice a curly. I discoreved it recently. I have to brush them wet after shower, otherwise they would get crazy frizzy. So if I want them curly I have to brush them wet, and scrunch them gently and let them dry. OR if I am in the rush I can brush them wet, then hair dry them on low and warm so they don't frizz, I put heat protectant, also I dry them with hair dryer with my head down and keep scrunching. I hope that helps anyone.
when i started my journey a little while ago it was my black friends who told me my frizzy crazy hair was actually curly. they said i just needed product. so i did research for my hair type, found the curly girl method. decided immediately i shouldnt need that if my hair wants to do this already on its own. so i went back to my friends, and after trial and error with just a few products i found 2 that my hair LOVES and it naturally just waves (i mist my hair in the morning and detangle with a wide tooth comb between washes) but other than that its been an amazing time with my natural hair!
also switched to paraben free and sulfate free shampoos and conditioners years ago before this. its a game changer. do this even if your hair is straight.
I had almost the same hair journey! I think we’re roughly the same age, late 20’s/ early 30’s. I knew I had curly hair but didn’t know how to properly manage it, it would get so frizzy. I used Ganier & Herbal Essence mousse all the time back in the late 2000’s. I fried my hair from straitening all through high school. I’m not sure if you’ve encountered this, but I have certain seasons / years that I have great hair and then not so great hair. I have tried so many products so it’s hard to find something that I love. Mousse is too drying, curl creams are too heavy for my hair ( weighs it down) gel is the best...but I hate gel haha. Best advice I have is to find a salon / hair stylist that specializes in curly hair ( esp one that has similar hair to you) curly hair is definitely a long term journey!
Your post haircut hair is what mine looks like now which really gives me hope for improvement
I had to pause and comment in the first minute because I'm in the same situation. Also your before picture on the thumbnail is LITERALLY how my hair looks like😩
Hopefully you’ll get some good tips from my videos to help!🥰🖤🖤
I FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE WITHT HE SAME HAIR AS ME 😭😭😭😭 everyone who I have watched their videos either have beautiful big curly hair or a little more on the straighter side. I wasn’t even looking for someone with “wavy” hair. I just let UA-cam keep playing while cleaning. Also, you look beautiful! 💕
Oshuat Gonzalez Awh thank you so much!🖤🖤
Oh trust me girl, you have curly hair. Wavy hair is way more drawn out. Some people think kinky and coily hair is curly hair but there's a difference. Urs is curly
curls form ringlets, so hers is wavy, but wavy still falls under the category of curly hair :)
@@haileyadkins8412 Hello :) do you know what it means if I have very loose waves (looser than the lady's in this video) that fall into complete ringlets from about half way down? It's hard to explain but people ask me if I curl the ends and I literally do nothing at all (no products, no blow drying, I'm lazy!!) but because of that I can't work out what type of hair I have. It's just above my butt now, but I cut it off very short in 2018ish and it still did exactly the same thing. Very loose waves, then these ringlet things at the end (it looked exactly like Frodo's hair in LOTR for a bit, lol). Now that I want to treat my hair better I'm having trouble finding the right kind of routine to use; curly, wavy, straight (probably not straight, lol). It's such a mess!! Anyway sorry for the random question, you just seemed like you might know :)
Here Be Subtitles. Hey girl I follow this channel called Swavy Blonde, and your hair sounds a LOT like how her’s looks. I would check out her channel to see if you could get any information there 😊
That glowup thooo
We have the same hair stg!! And in high school i use to wake up so early to straighten it too! I even got it chemically straightened once 😳 big yikes. but that was a while ago. since then I’ve embraced the waves/curls☺️☺️
Nicole B oh wow that’s crazy! I’m glad you like your texture now! I love mine too and I’m so thankful for my little waves 🖤🖤
Split ends are my worst nightmare, totally not gross lol. This video really helped me thank you!!!
J Kl Awh yay! You’re welcome!🖤
Love your style.
Thank you so much, this is so much information that I needed, thank you for your struggles, I look forward the day that I'll have my wavy hair!!!
I Definitely used to pick my split ends too 😅👍
You're adorable! Thanks for these videos. I think my hair needs protein, gonna go try out your recos now
Sarah Celine Pope awesome!🖤🖤 thank you🥰
The same thing just happened to me. I had super long hair but there was no definition and I thought it was because it was heavy. I just cut it and nothing happened. I don't know what to do. I am so tired of it not being happy.
Get products with protein! I think that’s the perfect place to start and is the solution to most hair issues. We all tend to over moisturize wavy hair so we are in desperate need of protein. Check out my refresh routine on my channel. I have a great protein leave in that I love and it helps a TON with enhancing my curls🖤
@@melindab thank you, i will look into that ❤️🤞🏻
@@melindab When should we add protein and when should we add moisturize?
I picked at my split ends too lol. I kinda enjoyed it......
Girl you shampoos and straightened every day?? Bless you I did mine maybe every 4 days if that. Straight hair was tgevonly option in the late 90s lol.
I feel like the comment you made about "maybe if I bleach it, it'll dry it out a little bit" is true because I went blonde my senior year in high school and I distinctly remember how much wave/curl came out of my natural hair that year because all my friends would be like, "How did you do your hair? It's like mermaid hair!" and i would just be like, "This is air dried". Oh how I miss it... (that's the reason I'm watching your videos) I want it back!
It’s so odd how that happens! Hair is weird lol hopefully you can get it back. It just takes a little experimenting with products and styling techniques ☺️🖤
How’d you apply products to your hair and style it when it was long?
I never used the heat except in weddings and things like that and it doesn't happen a lot but my hair is still frizzy and no definition, any tips?
I'm glad I found your channel, my hair seems to have the same curl pattern, still have to figure out some products that I'm not allergic to XD
Omg this is so me!!! I thought my hair was dry damaged and frizzy!!!!
Wow you're just like me :0
I remember my hair being straight from birth on but later when I was like 13-16 I noticed when the air wasn't dry and when it rained my hair did weird things and when I let it air dry I had very very loose waves and my hair would do all kind of things it was straight 80% and 20% weird ass waves and I hated it so I blow dried it and straightened it and since I was 14 I started coloring my hair and one day I quit. I stopped coloring it and let it grow out but still went in with the straightener. For a few years I only blow dried my roots and let the rest dry on their own I stopped using heat! After one day my waves would be gone so I made it wet with a spray bottle and then did two twisted ponytails and it worked well.
...So now the worst thing I did was one year ago I cut off all my breast long natural hair and started coloring it again I did it two times and then I went to the salon to get a balayage but the hair dresser fucked up.
It looked so ugly but I let it grow out but around that time just like your hair did it started making more defined curls and waves like I had never seen before !!
When my hair was longer the color looked like this (natural-big part of dark brown color-way too light balayage) then I went to the salon one last time and got it evened out by some other hair dresser and I'm so glad I did. Over quarantine I've been experimenting more with my hair but I'm still not at the point I wanna be.
I used box dye to even out my hair color (I have light ashy blonde hair) and it worked well but I don't know if it's doing my hair any good so I stopped for a while.
I'm thinking about getting a big chop again cutting the dead ends off but I'm scared.
Your videos are a really big help to me !! Thank you!!
Please help....
I always get confused between protein products and moisturize products.
😕
I honestly struggle with reading ingredients so I either just buy recommendations from youtubers or read the claims of the products. “Repair and restore” normally means it has protein and moisturizing products normally say they’re moisturizing and conditioning 🖤
melinda or do research? Too many people just follow others
Love u with dark hair! U just look posh! Ever thought of going dark again?
youre so beautiful😍😍🥰
For me it sounds like after all those years of using the same products your hair got overly moisturised or had too much protein and/or product buildup (unless you were using a sulphate shampoo) and that frizzed your hair and weighed the curl pattern down. 2a/2b hair gets weighed down really easily, since the curl pattern is not so strong and the hair isn't usually as porous as more curly hair (so it doesn't soak up all of the products and moisture so easily). You should try limiting the moisturising products and just change up your routine, try oiling the hair and just look for protein/moisture balance :)
I agree!!! Where were you before I chopped my hair!! Lol 😜
Literally the video that is saving my life😭 this has been the video i’ve been looking for to start my hair repair journey. I haven’t been able to find any video on youtube with somebody that has the same hair type as mine or that has had to wake up 2 hrs before school just to do their hair too lol. When you started using the curl amplifier did you use any other specific products like shampoo or conditioner?
Awh yay! Nope I just used the tresseme shampoo and conditioner bc it was cheap ☺️
when I use mousse I get soft curls and when I use gel it looks gross. Everyones hair is different :)
I'm watching this video at about the 13 minute mark, and I'm wanting to scream "Clarify your hair!!!" Sometimes curls need to be clarified with a clarifying shampoo. This gets rid of product build up. The build up prevents the hair from absorbing the products. My sister is 3b and uses the Neutrogena clarifying shampoo. I have type 4 hair and use Aunt Jackie's oh so clean. You're welcome!
Here’s the funny thing- when I was in middle school (2008) and chopped off my hair- I suddenly got super wavy and curly hair out of nowhere. Fast forward to 2018 when I chop off my hair again and I completely lost most of my curl definition. Now I’m currently regrowing my hair (it’s at my shoulders now) and suddenly my curl definition is starting to come back and I am beyond confused 🤣
My hair is so fluffy and frizzy and has a ton of flyaways, it definitely looks really similar to your before picture! Quick question, when do you use curl enhancers in your routine?
Have a look at the curly girl hair method and tweek it to suit you. I recommend a scalp detox first, then using more natural products like ethique as shampoo and conditioners. Moisture is a must I use a leave in conditioner as well on shaking wet hair and scrunch in, then I apply gel and scrunch again. There's lots of videos on UA-cam try lots if stuff out
my hair it's a mess, my mom and brother have beautiful curls, when I was a child my hair was curvy and straight (like half head straight then curvy, really weird) so my mom shaved it all and started to grow really straight until I was 8 years old it got wavy until I began to use heat at 13
now a few years later my hair it's wavy but damaged bc of heat, so I'm not using a hair blower or straightener
N. Awesome! The longer you go without heat the better your curls should start to look🖤 don’t be afraid to trim off any dead ends too!
How come your bangs are straight?
Do you straighten them?
Anybody now why I got hard, sticky, and super stiff roots? I’m super confused I’ve tried sulfate free shampoos and cleansing shampoos but nothing is working
Try a clarifying shampoo! Suave has a great one and veryyy cheap!
I have the opposite problem!! My roots are smooth and flat (like straight hair) but the further down it goes it gets dry and crunchy and stiff-like, gets wavy, then is in full hard ringlet-things at the ends all the time. I'm confused and don't want to cut it all off. Why is hair so stressful??? Lol! I hope you find a fix for your hard roots! :)
God you have the exact same hair type as me I hope I can get curlier hair I never style it and it's getting rly annoying seeing my friends with their beautiful hair meanwhile mines a mess
I would love to know what product your stepdad recommended! ❤️
Antonia F curls rock amplifier by tigi! I talk about it in my wavy hair routine 🖤
I know I’m extremely late to this video but do any of y’all know what to use to add more moisture? When I get out of the shower and it dries my hair just gets so dry and brittle. I also don’t know what to do about the no heat thing because I use a diffuser to get more definition in my waves. Also are there any like at home remedies for frizz because I’m a teen so I can’t just use whatever products I need to figure out my hair, I have to use what I have. I have mousse, leave in conditioner, sprunch spray, and frizz cream
Try the redken all soft mega mask it’s a great deep conditioner! Also I posted a video on all my favorite products that may help🖤
Ok thank you!!!
I have no idea of my mom or grandmas natural hair texture, my mom has always dyed and bleached her hair, use the blowdryer a lot, use wax/hairspray and has short hair. My grandma is old now and her hair is fine, thinning but she dyes it brown, from photos of younger her she had styled short hair maybe a 2a in rare natural looking longer hair. Due to this I didn't think my hair could be wavier since from what I could see no one in my family has it
I am a bit confused by the video though - you mentioned your hair needing protein and doing better when you incorporate protein in the wash day but then reference the video "How I got my curls back". This video talks about your favorite product being Kinky Kurly Knot Today Leave-in. This is a protein-free product though. What is the protein you included in the wash day then?
I think I have curly hair... Ive been treating it as regular straight and maybe thats why its falling
Once I switched it organic/natural product, I noticed the same thing with my hair! I’ve been using this quarantine time to figure out my hair again haha. My hair just is too easy to over moisturize and looked better dryer! But I don’t want to give up my natural products so it’s a work in progress.
yep! wavy hair can be so finicky! lol I would definitely try a product with protein! I recommend a good one in my favorite hair products video! its the women to women naturals the gorgeous collection leave in conditioner
melinda thanks girl! I ended up chopping a bunch of layers into my hair and letting it dry without any product and it looked amazing! I’ll look into the protein products as well :)
Stopppp one of my college friends named Emily is the one who made me realize I also have wavy/curly hair
Woah that’s crazy lol
WHERE. Do you explain how you style your bangs !? Are they real
I just straighten them 😜 they are real lol
love how your hair looks, i wonder if i could ever get something like this without a curling iron. i like waves but i don't like all the effort and heat, hence i blow-dry it like twice a year... my hair is straight, but sometimes i can get some minimal wave... i know i'll never get far with hair this straight, but maybe i'll try some methods, because i always thought i look better in curls xd
Apfers definitely try some styling products with protein! I recommend a great one in my “refresh routine” video!🖤
I'm not sure if you'd be into this, but my friend just puts her very straight hair in two slightly damp plaits before bed, then in the morning her hair has dried wavy. She recently started doing that dressing gown cord thing too and holy heck it gets super curly from that!! But yeah for a slight wave she just sleeps on slightly damp plaits :)
Do you heat straighten your bang?
They don’t appear to have the same wavy pattern as the length of your hair!
Sounds like you were possibly over moisturized & needing a good clarifying shampoo & reconstructor added to your original routine. Too bad you cut off all your hair & it didn't solve the problem. Your hair type sounds very similar to mine, thick & heavy, frizzes when blow dried (at least when I do it ) grows quickly, etc. For wavy girls, especially those of us who choose to color & highlight, being strict CGM is difficult since we may need to use purple toner shampoos, color depositing shampoos, clarifying shampoos & stylers with silicone. Many CGM products are too heavy or over moisturizing for our hair type which is usually more porous with a looser curl pattern..
Agreed! Yeah I wish I had known about protein back then bc I LOVE how protein enhances my curls now but I’m growing it back out so I’ll try it this time around ☺️
Literally just thinking the same thing! I'm realizing I need more protein/moisture balance. Manes by Mel has really helped educate me on hair care for waves/curls. Thanks for sharing your journey~ Gives me hope 🤞
Omg in the pic at 9:48 you look just like Lights
Carly J who?? Lol
melinda she’s a singer, if you look at the cover of her album “Siberia” you’ll see what I mean!
Oh wow! What a compliment 🥰
Super weird question.. are you from Michigan? Your accent sounds EXACTLY like a like my multiple of my friends.
woah thats crazy! no I'm not lol I'm from Virginia
I like your glasses.
I love your shirt, where is it from? 😍
Thrifted!🖤
Me too! Similar hair story. Except I’m really late to figuring this out. I only knew about mouse lol! I really hope I can get my wave pattern back now.
I’m so glad I found your channel. We have the SAME hair type! I do the curly girl method except I do brush my hair after my shower. But I can’t find a good gel or mousse to use! Do you have any suggestions?
Curls rock amplifier by tigi! I also have a few routines posted and a few favorites videos for more product recommendations 🖤
You look like a young Sarah palin
Very pretty
I know this is irrelevant, but do you remember what lipstick you were wearing here? My eyes went straight to your lips after clicking on the video. Lol
I’m pretty sure it was the wet n wild high shine lipstick in send nudes! Their high shine lipsticks are AMAZING. I also love the shade caught you bare naked so it could have been either and then I think I used the urban decay 24/7 glide on lip pencil in stark naked 🥰
That eye look is also bomb
I cut my hair in summer '19 but before that I was so frustrated with my hair because it was so frizzy. Now its so straight and kinda ugly and I will try to get my waves back :)
what a BABE. wow
💖💖💖💖👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is crazy to me that your name is also Melinda😂
Omg heyyyyy melinda😜 I don’t meet a lot of people with my name!
melinda neither do I! They are all normally old lol
When I was young I had naturally wavy hair, now I'm considering if it's curly, but I would straighten it A LOT because like you said, it was kind of the trend when I was in school to have straight hair. I'd only wear my natural hair at home and straighten it for like an hour before school... I am so happy I found your channel. I hope I can bring out my natural curl.. :)
I also have wavy thick hair and been at it for months now and I dont think I can go back straight because its soooo hard to brush now😂
