I will just walk away or ignore. Works every time to keep me sane. Some people wants to stimulate reaction from you but hell no, I will not give it to them. Yeah, and you also can't turn off your ability to hear and understand a language you're fluent in. If you understand then some words will hit you if the insulting person is skillful enough or you are feeling low enough. It's a nice concept and I'll try to apply it, but I can see flaws in it.
I have heard this so many times but never took it to heart. Earlier today my brother told me about how a group of girls from my grade came up to him and asked a couple questions about (means things that I won’t state) and proceed to laugh. I never really care about what other people think but it got to me, I searched up what to do and I’m so glad I did. This video was a reminder of what I needed to hear.
When someone says that words hurt them they acknowledge just how much power they allow others and their words to have over them. The hurt is just as deep as you allow it to be. As long as you have truth on your side then their lies or fantasies are powerless over you.

@@pyrytheburger3869 then why are you laughing at the cops even if you know that you have done crime
As a guy who has been hurt by other people’s words, this helps so much
I just keep a running dialog of insults in my mind and usually the people who bother me the most are my targets. 😂
This is a simple yet extremely effective practice that we have forgotten as Humans... for ones own mental health this should be practiced by all of us and we can move forward as a species
I've not forgotten... Nobody I know has forgotten. Sticks and stones, words are words, what do you mean we forgot as humans ? Where do you live and who are you around ? I'd move.
@@phillipoliverholtz9226 Obviously, you've never met my family. My friends treat me better than they do.
If I hear an insult, I start saying "I thought someone is talking" and look from left to right and pretend no one is there and say "maybe I'm just imagining" then walk away. 😆
Edit: I made this up for fun. 😆 I will not even talk if someone insult me nor make eye contact. I will just walk away or ignore. Works every time to keep me sane. Some people wants to stimulate reaction from you but hell no, I will not give it to them. I'm introvert and I hate spending energy on confronting people. Apathy might be a better word. Apathetic only to those who insult or bully. Apathy and avoiding eye contact is powerful but I've made some enemies because of it. And suprisingly, more friends. I'm only apathetic to jerks in the workplace. Those that many people hate.
It's behavior like this, that makes me wanna insult you in the first place.
@@Oiiiii You deserve treatment like that if you insulted them first before they did anything
this way is how you get sucker punched

Amen!!! So true! DO NOT GET OFFENED SO EASILY
This is the best education I’ve ever been taught. At school they dont teach us this.
I love her accent it's lovely 💖
"Are you a fucking idiot"
"Cheers mate🍻"
I love her voice. My mother used to speak to me im different langiage when angry at me it sound like shes cursing or bad word and i actually laugh and she gets more mad. Now im grown up i told her ido not understand it back in that time only you know what it means. I was never affected.
Living in a different region, the people around me talks a lot in their language and staring at me. Suffocating..... Happy I found this✨✨
I just look at them up and down and carry on 🤣 sometimes i smile before going 🤣
🤣
Good one
This came at the right time. Today I was sitting in class on my laptop, and the two boys behind me kept whispering about me, thinking that they’re so sneaky even though I was RIGHT behind them, and then when someone asked who they were talking about, one of the boys pointed to me, and I could see through my computer screens reflection. They thought they were so smart by doing that, I wasn’t even angry, I was disappointed at how sneaky they thought they were at talking behind my back.
Don't let others sow what you reap. Be kind and loving.
This is the wisest thing ive ever heard a celebrity say. Beautiful.
Feels like a great Mom 😊 love her!
One of the best life lessons I have heard and admired. 🙏
Bloody hell who have you been hanging around with then? You have a lot to learn if this is the best life lesson for you
@@lude08 thank you for the kind words. If you read it again, I have written one of the best, not the best…. ☺️🙏 May you be more at peace.
@@tarunaaeri6593 Lol you too mate, I meant to say one of the best, but even so, you said one of the best you've heard and admired so my point still stands lad

Great words.....this video made my day!
I am dealing with some mates who always insults me.....
It's literally too much hard for me....!
Undercover cops in another country chasing after me and telling me to stop.
Me: They're probably just insulting me. Keep driving and forget it about it.
Sometimes words hurts like knife. Especially if the people who insults you have “earned” the rest of the class or the workplace. Harsh reality…
They are the insecurities of the people insulting you.
Only time it matters is if you’re a lazy piece of shit and they’re calling you out. The truth does hurt.
That's what i do, When My toxic abusive parents or my cunning relativies anyone lecture me Insulting stuff, try make me feel worst...I just take away value of their words & drop them deep into floor, it may bit hurtful or hard to do initially but i learned to laugh it off & don't take on heart which makes them even more angry lmao...Coz they want to see me in tears, oppressed, hurt by it which gives them satisfaction but if I stay strong enough to don't be vulnerable infront of them..it will never make them succed in their goal of hurting me. Put a smile on ur face & keep ur laugh when they start insulting in attempt to hurt u.
This is so so true … it’s a wonderful piece of advice ….. let’s all do this and break the circle of hate
I'm 85 and happy to learn a new thing from this young lady
I love these lines so much its feel like she's talking about me.....
I hit like, and then was disappointed there’s not an “extra like” or “love” option. I love this.
I can feel the vibes in any language if it’s a compliment or insult
This is SO GOOD! Thanks for a new perspective
Believe me it's a great freedom. You need to be breath aware, it comes with practice.💙😀
Agreed

This Is The Reason That I Never Responds to any Insults.
Yes! I've been letting his words mean nothing! Well described, thank you!
I have always said “own it, and they can’t use it against you”.
Love her!
Could someone rent it then use it again you? Then they’ll have effectively used your own against you. Then gave it back to you. Now you have to live with it.
Actually, don't own it. Don't accept less than your worth from anyone.
When you can tell someone’s shit talking you in another language ._.
Thank you my sister was exactly having that feeling
There's definitely a universal language through inflection and body language, I understand what she saying but if you're in tune you can definitely catch the vibe when someone's insulting you in any language especially if they really mean it.
Yeah, and you also can't turn off your ability to hear and understand a language you're fluent in.
If you understand then some words will hit you if the insulting person is skillful enough or you are feeling low enough.
It's a nice concept and I'll try to apply it, but I can see flaws in it.
I agree with u
I think she is too simple here
Preach! You are responsible for how you react to words and how the affect you
I agree to this because everyone makes fun of me alot and insult me,but I just laugh it just somehow feels great
I have heard this so many times but never took it to heart.
Love this, I'm definitely going to tell this to my son one day, when he needs to hear it.

Never thought of it this way but it's spot on
When someone says that words hurt them they acknowledge just how much power they allow others and their words to have over them. The hurt is just as deep as you allow it to be. As long as you have truth on your side then their lies or fantasies are powerless over you.
Very well said ‼️👍
I cannot agree
U r implying that we are wrong when we r being sensible
Brilliant advice!! I have had to eliminate poisonous relationships in my life because of their narcissistic attempts at controlling me. Sometimes you reject and ignore what’s being said. Sometimes you cut that voice out of your life.
