- It's our favorite event of the year!! The Hershey AACA Fall Swap meet is the worlds largest automotive swap meet, with over 10,000 vendor spaces. The swap meet is full of the best advertising, collectibles and pre-60 car parts. There is everything from the horseless carriage era, early ford, and into the 50s. This year we had some rainy weather Monday to Wednesday, but that didn't stop us from shopping and selling parts! Thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth through out the week!! See you all next year!!!

You done good boys. You sold a truck that took most of the room in the trailer and still managed to go home with a full trailer.
Glad it didn't rain the entire time , I liked the traffic director with SKATES -- seemed kind of dangerous, didn't seem too steady at times. A lot of nice stuff there ---- Thanks for Sharing
America, the greatest attempt at Greatness that has ever been.
That old roadster that had been hot-rodded in the late 40s was interesting. The body looked like it had spent time in the ocean, it was so corroded. The '42 navy woody wagon was very cool. Nice video, thanks for showing us all the great cars and paraphernalia.
You noticed that Navy car too I've seen one like it that was a woody for the Army

My wife's family told me there is a plaque at Hershey with her grandfather's name on it because he was one of the founders of the swap meet.
There use to be a place in North Dakota that had 40's and 50's International trucks of all kinds just sitting there rusting ! I know because I bought parts from him for my 54 International pick up while stationed at Minot AFB back in 1978 - 1982 !
Looks like the Garage did some good business and had a pretty good time checkin' out the sights.
Whoever ended up with the truck is one lucky person.
I hope they do an awesome restoration on it.

Curtis engine was so rare bucket list for next year
They used castor oil to lubricate the valves.
When I worked as an aircraft mechanic on a Grumman goose restoration for Dean Franklin Aviation here in Miami in the 80's he had one in his outter office entrantce area he'd take out back and run it up on a special test stand every couple of months and boy did that oil stink when it got hot.
It was off an old Curtis Jenny Dean himself had crashed and totaled in the 50's originally.

The "steam engine" at 12:07 is a duplex water pump, quite often used to feed water into steam boilers.
Has two steam cylinders, two valves (which control steam in and out, one valve per cylinder), and two pump cylinders. Steam pistons are powered in both direction of stroke. Water pump generally has eight valves to pump on each stroke.
This particular pump is missing a lubricator for the steam cylinders.
