- The plaintiff says she hired the defendant to install a vinyl wrap on her pet-grooming van, but he installed the wrong color. She’s suing for the cost of the bungled job. The defendant claims the plaintiff fired him and then told him to continue, and says her demands were crazy.

Color blindness aside - Yes, purple is made up of some degree of blue.
There are many different "kinds" of purple, based on its composition.
I used to be a florist, and when doing wedding consults with brides who liked purple, I always took out paint samples for reference. Many brides liked the more magenta-pink-like purple vs. The Minnesota Viking purple.
It was interesting.

She made herself look really bad with all that attitude. I’d personally never want to deal with her as a customer or put my pets in her care. She seems very short and aggressive.

She has a nasty attitude, but she should have been rewarded her entire suit because they bungled job. I agree with Harvey, she should have been rewarded her money back. I'm surprised the judge gave her anything back. She is very biased to African American women, especially if you're attractive. Again, I believe she said those racist comments, and she's not a nice person. Treat people how you want to be treated.
I don't see how the plaintiff has her own business with her horrible attitude and unprofessionalism. You can tell she probably was being irrational about the entire situation when this man was clearly trying to resolve the issue. 🤷🏽♀️

The van looks blue to me in the original photos. And its NIGHTTIME when the video is taken when she comes to pick up the van.....how can she tell the true color of the van at night with a cell phone flashlight? Of course a flashlight reflecting on a car is going to distort the colors at night. If she had concerns about the color, she should have said "Look. I'm tired. I've been away. I have concerns about the color of my wrap. Can I please come back tomorrow, during the day, so we can look at this together and sort it out? Instead, she decides to throw a tantrum, which wound up biting her in the ass because he doesn't have to pay her. And honestly, unlike her, this gentleman actually has CLASS because EVEN AFTER her attack, HE was willing to sit down like calm, reasonable adults and talk about correcting the issues with his wrap job.
I swear I wish sometimes the judge would just shut up and let them speak or even finish letting them answer a question when she asks them.... omg she is sooo annoying at times..... but I still love her 🤷🏽♀️☺️

I work in the printing industry. This is one of the things our company does. This is what proofs are made for. You then get a signature to get approval and it gets sent back to the designer unless changes need to be made. Vinyl does not stick to some plastics very well. Grills usually do not get wrapped. I drive a van like this everyday that had been wrapped.

Unfortunately, as detestable as her actions and speech were, there did not rise to the level of a legal or financial harm. So... she gets to be nasty and have no legal issue. I'm sure there will be some financial and social issues because of what she did, but that's the limit of what can be done.

(FYI when you fuck a wrap, you can't just fix up the pieces cause it's 1 piece for the specific area of the vehicle.. so you would HAVE to do the whole wrap over cause most cases the wrap is 1 piece) So I feel exactly where she's coming from.. tf she's gone do with $2000 and she's ENTITLED to more, like Harvey said.. for a full refund, not partial.. her wrap wasn't partial so why should her refund be partial.. make it make sense 💯 smh & she should've gotta a full refund regardless of what tf she said racist to him.. she ALSO made it VERY clear on what she DESIRED, which she did not get = they fuck up smh & it is NOT CHEAP to fix someone's fuck up on a wrap 💯

Cameras sometimes pick up colour differently than they look with the naked eye. Lighting also affects how the colour is captured so it could actually look different irk
By the photo's it was pure royal blue sometimes some people see colours differently because we all don't have the same strength in our eye's, everyone is different.
So she maybe seeing a different colour to what most people are seeing.

People can see colors differently. Most can generally agree (red yellow) but when you get into shades of colors (blue, royal blue, navy blue, blue-purple) it becomes more difficult. Lighting matters too.

Shame on the judge here. Plaintiff was absolutely being racist. If he had said go back to Africa or go back to your hood in East Oakland, he would have been clobbered. Poor guy. Shame on the plaintiff and shame on the judge. Also, he said he can’t wrap plastic grill. The van in the rendering has a metal grill. He could not wrap the grill on her van. Like he literally could not do that.

Plaintiff has an attitude you can see from a mile away i wouldve declined her business from the start. I do believe she made racist remarks. No matter who you are keep that filthy racist mess to yourself
She was a little firm but she was right, they weren't professional about their work. She spent alot of money & expected a certain job from them & they didn't deliver!!! Everyone lost it!!! Just settle it in court!!!

The woman who gave the van is totally wrong. If you're giving any van or big bus should be present at the workshop to be measured. The court don't have the experience wrapping vehicle and processes how they do the work.

$2,000 was too low of a judgment. The pictures shown of the actual wrap shown bubbling parts and the color was off and parts were not done. The other shop said it was shoddy workmanship. The defendant said the color portion that took up half the job at the very least should be redone so that's $3,000.
If she would have remained calm, she would have gotten what she wanted without the lawsuit. Sometimes our attitudes is the reason why we don't get what we want.
