Thats fair. But if you dont care for the functionality you could make it cool like the tram could go over the intersection? That would be sweet and also solve most of the issue.
@@Roiben100 I haven't mentioned this in a video yet, but part of my building philosophy is to avoid hostile architecture. Keeping views of the bay and river at grade enhances the experience for pedestrians. There are alternative routes available for drivers who prefer not to wait in traffic. Ultimately, I would rather ban cars altogether than make it easier to accommodate traffic. Its all a work in progress, so happy to hear every one's thoughts and ideas too, I appreciate your feedback!
Nice build Scunny! First I've seen anyone actually use the Coal Power Plant extensions (other than me of course)! Your deep mine made me think that we should probably have a "proper" asset that functions as a deep mine and actually produces coal... Oh, and don't forget to run high voltage lines out to the border, so you can fully export more than the current max of 40MW you seem to be capping out at.
This episode felt so much like 'Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic' Do check this awesome thing out Sad that it does not really match your channel's aesthetic else i would have asked you to drop your take on that.
The city needs an airport! of course the current airports are way too big for the town so far but a small airport, doesn’t even need a run way a dirt strip will do just fine. small planes to fly in or out. playing microsoft flight sim makes me realize how many of those little airports there are
What I find really sad is that so many mods are scattered across multiple Discord servers and aren't available on the official mod store. I understand that, in some cases, this isn't the modders' fault, but many of these mods could be released there and simply aren't. It has taken a lot of the fun out of playing the game for me because I don't want to join a dozen Discord servers and manually install even more mods. It just makes me sad 😢
To be honest, PDX Mods needs to made better, even a simple decal requires a small degree of code editing, although there is great support from the modding community, not everyone is willing to publish something that might break as soon as the editor/mod platform get's updated. I would highly recommend Sully's Discord, found via their channel, for anyone interested in detailing - they have a well organised collection of free assets, and are a friendly bunch too!
Mods, while great, feel like dressing on a bland salad with no variety. Developers need to focus on improving the "salad" itself-creating systems that meet our standards. This game is lucky to be the only city builder at this level at the moment. Cuz it is pretty mediocre to be honest
I wish pne day all this vould be real instead of salad dressing. I mean game that came out more than a decade ago somcity has much better city specialization than this
Hi Sunny, Really love creating my own city on your modified map. According to CS2 the map is not up to date and I am experiencing loads of crashes, also none of the other mods are working. Can I update the modified map? Do you perhaps have a suggestion? Thank you so much for your reaction.
The map has been updated, not sure what's causing mods to not work, I'm not the most tech savvy, so I hope you find help and get to enjoy the game soon. Thanks for letting me know about the map!
@@SunnyScunny Thank you so much. I will check it out immediatly. Keep up the great work with your city, enjoying it very much! Your explaining and detailling is addictive :)
That intersection makes me scream every episode
A true horror, everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong in every way.
Some people enjoy watching the world burn

Some clever use of props in your coal mine. It looks great!
Thanks, not as detailed as your fantastic quarry, but happy with the results!
maybe you should do 2 villages, one big one near the port and another near the coal powerplant, it’s very common
Great idea, we have lots of space across the map, time to use it!
maybe he should improve the already existing town first, where the ferry terminal hasn’t a proper connection with the tram service…
Very nice railway.
Maybe you should add a bus line to the powerplant or a trainstation nearby for the workers
Thanks for watching! Check out more screenshots and indepth notes of past Sunny Isle projects at patreon.com/SunnyScunny
The additional houses near the power plant could be specifically for key workers in the plant.

A functional deep earth mine would be a great addition to the game!
This episode felt so much like 'Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic'
Do check this awesome thing out

One day... maybe!
Sunny Isle is appointment television!
Love it! I live in Wakefield, UK. Another proper coal town. Great to see the loops and closed mine design 🎉
Cup of Yorkshire tea and a scunny upload, perfect Sunday morning 👌
Amazing video as always Sunny! Sadly the freight trains look really dumb travelling backwards - hope they fix it somehow soon...
Agree! I tried off-camera to force it forward but kept getting pathfinding errors - sad :(
Absolutely incredible video as always, looking at the demand bars it seems like the city really wants to grow. would love to some more tram stuff
I LOVE this city my friend
Most satisfying cs2 series to watch by far!
the mine looks great and close to reality, the only exception is you wouldn't have a main road running through the loadout area. great job though.
Coal mines use lots of timber, you may want to detail that aspect with more timber piles.
Great idea, it would be worth adding a lumber yard nearby too!
I really want to love Sunny Isle, but there's just so many level crossings!!!!
And there will be more!
Another amazing video sunny
Thank you, chuckleberry!
Absolutely incredible work. The thought, care and attention are unparalleled!
Thanks David!
I really really love your videos ! You deserve a lot more views !
great build! perhaps fewer trees in the heavy coal industrial zone?
Great video as always!
This is so calming 😊
All those rail loops and yet the cargo train chooses to have the engine in the back
YES NEW SUNNY
The yellow mining car's size is super big compared to other vehicles.
What key is used to multi select like that road in the beginning?

I would love that!
so pretty as always!! love the details u'd be givint to ur city!
Hey, Kyodra! Thanks, man
With such a surplus in production, it wouldn't be interesting if the energy fee dropped for citizens?

why is the cargo train, driving in reverse?
Annoying, I know, the train reversed as soon as it left the depot siding, sadly we can't control it!
