Thank you so much for this wonderful video Grace. I live in Flanders, so I was very moved when you showed the biscornu pattern 'Flanders Fields'. Thank you Grace. Ingrid.
Gorgeous wips!! I vote for Sarah ... beautiful.Autumn Quakers is stunning!! I look forward to your next flosstube about the needles, I need to stitch faster!!
Me again ! I've stitched Hannah Sanderson as well. She is beautiful and as you said, everything is crammed in. Bourton Basket is still there ! It's in Bourton-on-the-Water. A beautiful part of my country.
I was stitching and enjoying your latest video when I heard you mention The Bourton Basket. I had my first trip to England last year. I happened across the same shop tucked down a side street while visiting the Cotswolds. You inspired me to pull out the small kit I purchased there and start it right away. Thanks for reminding me of a fun memory.
I enjoyed your flosstube. Was also at Sampler Symposium. After stitching for 50 years (and using the sticky mounting board 😫), I feel like I’ve learned SO much in the past two years with flosstube, stitch retreats, etc. Thanksso much for doing this.
Hi Leslie, Thank you for your kind comments! I agree with you as I have learned so much from Flosstube! Are you attending Bristol III or Summer School?
No, not this year but hopefully next. I’m going to The Great British Sampler Weekend. I’m a little scared of Arizona in August 😆, but Cheri Edington (from The Attic), who sat at the table I was at, told me how great Summer School is.
Sooo nice to see you again. Your WIPS are stunning !!!! Whatever you start will be lovely. Snd your Paula Vaughn samplers !!! Please hang them they are works of art !🌹 BTW if you want to see the Large Italian HATS Sampler in progress go to For the Love of Stitches by Elle , Eleanor , Yorkshire Sampler stitcher , hers is stunning, All the best Stay safe Hugs 🤗 to your fur baby.. love to see him again ♥️ Sharon , Ohio
Hi Grace!!! Love your rotation of stitching. Such gorgeous samplers and love that you do a sampler a week. That is a fabulous idea. Especially with all the beautiful projects we got from the Symposium. I am slowly stitching. Work and pin business keeping very busy at the moment. Stitch on my friend. Hugs, Teresa. P.S. Go with Sarah Milthorp! ❤️
Grace, Great to see you back. Your work is beautiful. It was fun to see your retro finishes. I am working on Jane Hopkins also. You are farther along than I am. It is just beautiful. I am also working on Maria Vicenza Laricchia. I am stitching it on 56 count. My first time with that count. I wanted mine to finish small enough that I could afford to frame it. Ha! The Autumn Quaker finish is gorgeous. I agree that it is hard to fill a Flosstube when working solo. That's why mine are always so short. Thanks so much for the shout out. I am happy to know that my system for working on my oldest WIP 7 days each month appeals to you. Take care. Best, K
I was on a trip to England and Scotland in Sept/Oct 2003, lovely trip. We did have a stop in the Cotswalds and went to a needlework store in Stratford-on-Avon although I don't remember the name of the store. I have a kit of Big Ben as well! Fully kitted, not sure if I got it at that store or one of the other 2 or 3 we visited on that trip. It's still a fond memory.
You are making great project on those HATS!!!! I'm in a SAL for Ann Tong Uffindell and have made a bit of progress... but have also added a few more charts to my collection which are kitted and I'm itching to start them!
Its probably a really good thing that we don't live any closer......talk about enabling!! I've found that I need a notepad and pen while watching your videos. I like that you're not afraid of confetti and large samplers. When you talked about a stitcher and the French Needle who was the stitcher?
I was never one for samplers when I started stitching years ago, but lately I find them so fascinating! There's so many layers of history, thank you for showing the books where I can learn more!
Gorgeous WIPs Grace! Btw - the Bourton Basket is in Bourton-on-the- Water in the Cotswolds - such a fab part of rural UK - take care love from Wales :)
@@paisleystitcher1243 I just got back home from an evening away at Whatley Manor in the Cotswolds 😊 heaven - but back and catching up on stitching now! Happy stitching in 🇺🇸!
Thank you for an enjoyable visit. Love your choice of samplers with intense color, stitching as they were when new. I’m in awe that you get so much done in a month too! Looking forward to your verdict about the double pointed needles.😊
Thanks for a wonderful video - your projects are delightful! I would love to know how you deal with or end and start all your confetti stitching as you said how much you enjoy that. I am put off by some samplers because of it. I look forward to seeing your stitching on a scroll frame also as I am trying to get better at it.😊 Thanks so much for sharing! I vote for Sarah.
What a delight, Grace. Brijin of The Museum Stitcher is planning a SAL with Oh Joyous Day by Blackbird Designs starting at the end of February. I plan on starting mine with her. Just a thought for you as well. I would start Sarah. Take care, my friend.
Such lovely projects and always enjoying seeing your progress! Lived your framed Rosewood Manor piece but agree with you on Valdani threads-not fun to use. Are you coming to the Cross Stitch Extravaganza by any chance? Would love to meet up.
Jane H is lovely, just so many beauties!

Hi Julia, Thank you! Great to meet you at Sampler Symposium and see your beautiful projects!!!!
Wow this was a FUN video!! Thank you for entertaining me so well today!! ☺️💖
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Esther..... absolutely ☺️
I just subbed. Probably too late, but I love both of the HATS samplers. But my eye is drawn towards Sarah.. I love your vids!

Hi Debby, Wonderful memories! Thank you!
So nice to see you back!
So, I had to go get the reflets de soie pattern that you showed us on your wip parade. Can't wait to get started.
It’s so pretty!!!
Esther, the colors are so bright! Love it
Esthers colors are amazing! I am working on her now.
I love the colors in Esther!

Love Ann Uffindell! There are so many beautiful projects and not enough time.
Another fantastic Flosstube! I’m a two handed stitcher, as well. I’m really interested in how you like those needles. I’d never heard of them before.
Thanks Karen!!!

Hi Brenda! Thank you! Kensington Stitcher on UA-cam and it was a Flosstube extra on European designers. She showed some beautiful patterns.
Jane and Hannah (all your samplers) just beautiful. We’ll done Grace.
So wonderful to catch up with all of your glorious stitching! I vote for Sarah as a new start! Thank you for all the great inspiration!
Thank you Katherine!!!
Love love, love watching your flosstubes! I love big projects- they always find me!!!
Me too!!

I love the history of the samplers, too!
Thank you so much for another terrific video, Grace! Your stitching is absolutely beautiful, and I really enjoy your channel! 😊😊

Thank you! I am mostly self-taught and just work under my threads in the back. The back of my stitching is certainly not perfect.
@@paisleystitcher1243 Thank you - maybe I just won’t be so concerned about it!😊
Love seeing you today! And your projects and progress are just awesome. I see so many charts I need to get.
See you next video ❤
Thanks Stacy!! ❤️
Beautiful projects Grace! I especially love Jane Hopkins❤️
My vote is for Sarah. I'll be excited to see which one you pick to start! Love all the things you shared!
You're stitching such beautiful projects! I love watching your FT and hope to talk to you soon.
Beautiful stitching and you select the prettiest patterns, the ones I would be afraid to attempt ❤
Thank you! 😊
Hi Grace - I would go with Esther for your March HATS start.

Your sampler WIPs are absolutely stunning! Start Sarah, I just love that sampler. It's on my wishlist when its released.
Thank you! Sarah is a beautiful sampler!!
Enjoy your projects!! I like your camera when it’s horizontal. I think the black bands when camera is vertical make everything look small??
I couldn’t agree more. Thank you!!!

Thanks so much!
Another awesome video!! Thank you!! I am Team Sarah!
Thank you! Sarah is winning and is a beautiful sampler!
I am fairly sure that Mary Ann Bournes was HATS very first release. Is Sarah Milthorp exclusive to The Attic? Thanks for a very enjoyable video!
Sarah Milthorp was exclusive to Sampler Symposium at The Attic in January. Isn’t it fabulous!!
@@paisleystitcher1243 Thank you for responding. I will be able to buy it eventually!
