REV is amazing because it makes moments like 2:56 way funnier when his voice echos and you can hear the fear wavering in his words better

Imagine being a ghost in the ship and just hearing a random British man yelling "LETS FIND A CONDO AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER!" and realize that he is scared and not actually confessing his love.

Everyone talking about the REV but can we appreciate the game's sound design as well? No music, just every creak and groan from the hull echoing throughout the ship, the scraping of chains, that eerie, hollow drone broken occasionally by a stinger or some random clang or crash, and the heavy footsteps and slow breathing of the sea monster. Some of the best I've ever heard in a game
The voiceover IS DOPE AF. I have to say it gives so more depth into the gameplay asweel as reality. It has me more gripped. A very good idea Daz. I support it

When I have a bad day. I stick on a daz video and put on some Linkin park. A combination of those 2 make me forget about all my drama and trouble

I really love the new audio, it really makes you forget everything around you and focus entirely on what Daz is doing

The audio editing was so natural for the gameplay I wasn’t even consciously aware of it. I would just hear echo and be totally immersed in the game.
Please keep doing this in future games because it really adds to the experience, as a viewer!

As soon as a heard the reverb in the ship’s hallway I was grinning ear to ear. Rev is such a great idea Daz! I hope this becomes trendy and people give you the credit you deserve.

I love that Daz has incorporated Rev into this video. It’s awesome to finally see another creator I love to watch do this in their videos. The guys with Neebs Gaming have been doing this for years. Idk if think they call it “Rev” but they’ve been doing that style for quite some time (anytime they’re underwater they edit their audio to actually make it sound like they’re underwater, or in a cave they add reverb, or if their character in game is wearing a helmet of sorts they’ll edit it to where it sounds like they’re actually speaking to their helmets com system). And Daz is right, it really adds this sense of immersion to the video almost like they are actually in that environment. It makes for really intriguing videos. I’m really happy another creator is doing this, and I love that it’s Daz!
I love what daz did with the audio! Throughout the video when he talks, it actually sounds like his voice is echoing! It made everything so much more realistic and atmospheric! Daz, you are a horror genius! Dude i really hope you continue doing this with all your horror game videos from now on because this was freaking awesome!

His voice changing to the boats enviroment really sets the mood to the whole experience, and makes you really immersed. I wouldn't be afraid to try this more often!

I usually hate horror stuff like movies or shows or games but when it’s daz playing I can watch all night long. For the past year I’ve been having trouble sleeping and the only way I can fall asleep is by watching a video that daz posts im very thankful for daz and his honest and pure soul and I will always be thankful for the time and care he gives us ❤️

As a sound engineer, this sounds great! the only feedback I have is the game audio does tend to be louder than your own voice at times so I think pulling back on the game audio just a tad will do the trick! Other than that, great job!!! Can't wait for more!

This reverb was a hilarious surprise. Gave me a good laugh as some points. But it also helped with the atmospheric part, especially emphasising how alone you are in this game.
Definitely enjoyed the new audio technique. It added another level of realism to the gameplay.
