I did the app so I wouldn’t clown someone in person. So many 10s got denied. I had a 2.40 offer I was like sick. Can’t you just by the slab and sell it for 10$ and ill keep my card inside lol

Shit there not even supposed to take anything less than a PSA 10 your lucky you even got any offers on alot of them. I took all my PSA 10s and 9s here in PDX and GameStop said we are not allowed to take anything less than a 10

Game stop is a retail store like a gamepawn shop... they are wanting to make money and profits, NOT collecting cards. They are paying fair prices.

Gamestop is horrible! I could tell yall so much! The reason they won't take the Shaq is cause they won't take ANY without that PSA label dead center and the way the slab opens is another reason! Yeah I don't get it either but that's the reason!! Most of my PSA cards pre-date the updated labels so they won't take them either!!

Like I was telling another youtuber doing the same thing at a Gamestop...you're far better off selling to repackers at a sports card show. Those guys walk in with duffel bags full of cash and they'll pay well above 80% of the market price, where they're buying left and right...no joke.It's nuts, but that is what goes on currently. Not to mention they help keep me in business with any extra or left over graded cards I don't need in my collection. Especially when I also set up a table and sell at these same shows.

I like how some people are surprised by this. Sport cards are overpriced to start with and like many other things it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay. Maybe they missed on some but I don’t think their offers overall were any more insulting than card shops.
Now the “cash” part is something else because at least at my local GameStop they don’t pay actual cash but prepaid Visa cards now.

Decades ago, while in the U.S. Navy, I decided to buy a PlayStation and went to Gamestop to look for a GTA game. A kid was there trying to return the very game I was waning to buy and the clerk offered him $5 for the game. The kid said, "I bought this game last week from you for $59.99." The clerk replied, "Yea, I know, I remember, but my system is only telling me $5."
I literally turned around and walked out of the store and waited in my car for the kid to exit the store, just to see if he sold the game for $5 or kept it. Unfortunately, he sold it for just a bit more with store credit and used that to purchase, yet another $59.99 game.
I asked the kid why was he selling a game that came out less than a week or so ago? "I completed the game, so i didn't want it anymore," he replied.
I stated all that to say this, parents please look out for your kids! Crooked stores like GameStop sell new games between $49.99 and $59.99, then turn around and after children pennies on the dollar! I can bet my life on it that that game he gave the kid $5 for is on its used game shelf for $49.99!
Finally with all that said, it appears we have some GameStop owner, managers, employees or children of stockholders in the chat praising GameStop as offering fair prices!

You should update video. GameStop updated their real price psa slabs estimate now. You can sell your graded cards at GameStop during the playoffs, nfl season. They will pay you in cash. GameStop is good getting rid of if you have backup quarterback during well for few weeks or the players is doing well.

Update on that terrible card - I put it up for eBay auction at $0.99 and it sold for a hair over $20 which barely covers grading and the buyer never paid. I listed it back up and it sold for $8. Buyer waited until the fourth and final day of the four day window to pay. 🤦♂️

You can tell Gamestop is out of their element when they allow trading for credit on unopened product. Almost no card stores do that because of how little profit Is in sealed products. I have noticed many stores now have almost a dedicated wall to cards, which is crazy.
