As previously seen with the Dacia Jogger hybrid (which has a similar hardware setup), this car's gearbox also performs some sort of gear shift at around 117-120 km/h which takes ages (something close to 1 sec). Without this gear shift the car would most likely do better times in the 80-120, 100-150 and 1/4 mile tests.

First pic is a speed vs time graph for the 1/4 mile run where you can clearly notice a brief stop in acceleration at around 120 km/h and the 2nd picture is a 10 km/h interval break down of the 80-120 km/h test where you can notice the abnormally long time it takes from 110 to 120, compared to previous intervals (80-90, etc.).
So, without this gear change, i would estimate that the car could do 80-120 in 5.8 - 5.9 sec (vs 6.6 sec), 100-150 in around 11 sec (vs 11.9 sec) and the 1/4 mile in the high 16s @ around 135 km/h.
Very professional testing! Subscribed now!

I also have this car (earlier version) and I could see that you put it in "My Sense" mode even tho the car has a "Sport" mode.
I don't know if it's because the visuals are different on the dashboard for this newer revision.
The Sport mode is quite more reactive, you vould have maybe gained half a second to a full second in some runs.
@@redaceFR hmm... i think i (probably) did some customization for this MySense mode, that's why it was active, otherwise there would be no reason to choose it over Sport mode. But believe me, from my experience of almost 100 cars tested, Sport mode does almost nothing to improve acceleration vs Normal mode. I perform acceleration runs in Normal/Comfort mode from time to time (although i don't post it in my videos) for fun/reference but the improvement that Sport mode gives over Normal mode is 0.2 sec at maximum for a 0-100 kmh test, which is negligible (you would not be able to tell the diff between a 7.8 sec and a 7.6 sec to 100 for ex).
In the acceleration tests, you can hear the engine rev up before you get off the brake.... I bought one of these and am really curious how you got it to rev up while stationary.... please let me know!!!!@
Hi, thanks for your question! Well, it's been some good 3-4 months since i've driven this car so my memory could play tricks on me, but i think it was pretty straightforward: hold the brake firmly and press the acceleration at the same time. I don't remember exactly if you have to press some DSC/ESP off button.. 🤔
Would it be possible to test these cars sometime in the future: G06 X6 40d MHEV, Q8 50 TDI, X4 30d MHEV, X4 M40d MHEV?
If i can get them, sure! 😉 i'll look out for them.

What is it that you don't like? The car's performance or something else? 🤔
@@AcceleratingCars the reason I don’t like it the car with 1.6 hybird is slow
@@bahrozgalaly5662 ok, i get it! I also think you're right 🙂
